He paused to take a breath,not realizing how fast he had been talking. " Metal is like that isn't it? The limited experience I have with it has definitely tested my patience,you must have a lot of that if you're able to craft such... genteel pieces." Cloudburst finished,taking a half step forward to examine the bands on Phoenix's horns.

He clutched his lyre closer,absentmindedly plucking a simple tune as he spaced off imagining different designs for horn bands,inspired now by Phoenix's adornments. Maybe a wave pattern,with some cutouts? That would be difficult with my skill level,ooh,maybe Phoenix takes commissions... Or maybe a tiered type design of varying thicknesses with raised details? He shook his head suddenly when he noticed his eyes going out of focus,realizing how ridiculous he must look at the moment.

Coughing sharply,hoping to appear nonchalant like he didn't just have a conversation with himself in his brain in front of Phoenix. "So....have you been here long? I'm not sure I've seen you around,though I have been preoccupied lately.." He frowned slightly once more as he thought about the training that had been forced on him lately.He had gotten out of joining the guard so far,but he knew Harrier and Cumulus wouldn't take no for an answer for much longer. Oh,why couldn't I just be brave enough to fly away and become a traveling musician or whatever,honestly,anything would be better than having to fight all the time. He didn't necessarily hate his tribe,he just felt that they shouldn't have blinders to everything but combat,like Phoenix,it was breath of fresh air to meet another SkyWing with artistic tendencies.

( is this still going? I really hope so. I recently started online classes and my schedule has been all sorts of disorganized, so it's been a challenge adjusting ^^'

But I just finished Dragonslayer, and it reminded me about this roleplay! If it's still active, I think I'll go ahead and create some new dragons so we can keep it moving forward. )
