Hello fine people, I'm Mossecho (obviously). I was on the original Forums for many years, even managed to become a StarClan Leader, but I got inactive towards the end. I haven't been back in years (again, obviously), but I am procrastinating on homework right now so I somehow ended up here. I doubt anyone remembers me, but anyhow, here I am! Looking forward to meeting all of you. (side note: I completely forgot about the emojis here, now I remember why I never used them)

Hi! Great to meet you too! So sorry for not responding sooner, hella family stuff came up but happy to talk!
And Capaldi is my favorite Doctor. Hands down. I like Eccleston a lot too (and he's interacting with the fandom now yay!!! I'm so happy). I started with the Modern Doctors, being a Wilderness baby and all. I never got too attached to the classic stuff, but Tom Baker's run seems pretty cool. What about you? Favorite companion?

Oh boy do I relate. No worries though!
Eyyyyyy! My favorite as well! That's cool! I also didn't know Eccleston interacted with the fandom - that's so cool! Admittedly, my largest association with the fandom is several friends on here and several friends from school/work. I've watched a bit of the classics, but not enough to know if I like anyone yet. Oooooh. Companion is a bit hard. I love the character of Bill Potts, honestly. I like the constant callouts when The Doctor says something stupid.

Yeah, he just started! Going to conventions, giving interviews, that sort of thing. It's great!
Honestly I don't have many connections to the fandom, just a few friends from school and my mom (she grew up during the Tom Baker era). I go to a Doctor Who convention every year and that's essentially most of my interaction with other Whovians, so it's great to talk to you!
I like Bill Potts too. Donna's great (love the sass). Honestly I like all the modern companions. Mickey and Jack Harkness are great, I love watching episodes with them.

Oh that's awesome! I should look it up in the future! Same here! It was actually someone on these forums who got me to finally try out DW. Before I'd never given it a second look! I've never been to a convention, but I would like to. Donna is great for the sass, not even going to lie. Oooooh yeah! I forgot Mickey and Jack - which has to be a crime. Both of them are great. Looking forward to the New Year's episode?

Yes, totally! He is really amazing. Also very honest about his problems with mental health. It's amazing to see someone being so open about it, I really appreciate him for that.
Well, happy you got turned onto it! I totally recommend going to a convention. If you're in the US or Canada, Gallifrey One in Los Angeles, Chicago TARDIS in Chicago (duh), and Long Island Who are probably the most well known ones. I go to Gally, but I might move to Chicago next year so I've been thinking about going to Chicago TARDIS.
The guy who plays Jack, John Barrowman, is amazing too. Very funny, very similar to his character.
Of course! I can't wait to see it. The last one is amazing. It's just been so long since we've gotten new episodes, I am really looking forward to it. I can't believe it's so close, it still seems so far away.

Oh that is awesome!
Oooo! I could probably go to one of those then! Thanks for telling me about it! What usually happens at them?
Oh cool! I've been meaning to write a short DW story where he makes a cameo.
I am so very hyped. I'll have to see it when I get home. O.O

I can only speak for Gally, but essentially... everything? Idk, there is a lot. Fans host panels where they talk about the show, there are interviews and games and late-night parties. Live commentaries to episodes too, since conventions will bring guests who worked on the show (everyone from the actors and writers to makeup and music). That doesn't really do it justice, but that's most of it. It's just an amazing atmosphere, being around so many Who fen. You write DW fanfic? That's really cool! What sorta stuff have you written? It was great! I missed the first 10 minutes (sad about that), but WOW. Really excited for the next episode. Tell me when you've seen it.

Oh my gosh that all sounds wonderful! Thank you for telling me about this! I think I really need to start looking into it. There's a story called Yellow Dust in Off Topic Writing if you're interested. XD Honestly I usually just do a bit of one-off shorts. I usually write a lot from the guest POV on the TARDIS and my friends tend to write as The Doctor. I've got a couple RPs. Only recently have I actually started writing stuff from The Doctor's pov or the like. In total I believe I have two short stories and what I might as well consider one co-story that's be up to about book 3 by now. XD I will! I'm going to try and see it on my phone tomorrow. Cross your fingers the bad internet holds out.

Alright! Heh, hey, in the mean time I'll just write another story so there's more to read, how about that. XD I'm actually off and on working on a comic. In my free time and for fun, so because of that I only have two pages outlined, but there we go. I believe this: wcrpforums.com/thread/74044/scream-watching-series-12-dw?page=1#scrollTo=2797586 would tell you just how I feel.

xD I keep doing that to my friend. Every time I finish an episode he gets texted my reaction. Not the plot (just since I’m trying to get him to watch it), just something like “what the hell just happened?!?!”.
