Sparrowclan ~ The Strong and Daring (Always Open)

(A friendly reminder to everyone, if you want there to be a major plot event you must run it by me first. It says so in the rules, and I would appreciate it if you did so. It helps keep everyone on the same page so that all the seperate rp's going on can coordinate around them. As an earthquake counts as a "major plot event" I would appreciate it if next time you gave me a heads up. Thanks )

(rockydublin , that sounds great to me. I'm sure that Bramblepath can find something for Mothpelt to help with in the medicine cat's den. He is especially talented at putting other cats to work.)

Bramblepath was silent for a minute as he tried to come up with an appropriate response. Finally, he simply shrugged and said, "You have nothing you need to appologize for. Also, I was more surprised that I was uncomfortable." After saying that, he fell back into silence as his mind whirled through at least fifteen better things he could have said. Finally he forced himself to take a deep breath and release it with a heavy sigh, clearing his thoughts as he did so. he brought his attention back to their journey back to camp, and stopped abruptly as a faint whiff of catnip wafted up his nose. He glanced around, trying to discern if the catnip was coming from what Spiderblossom was carrying or somewhere else.

Nightheart smiled to himself, always amused by the overflowing enthusiasm that characterised Rabbitkit. He reached back through his memories for a story that met both of the requirements that the kit had set for him. Finally, he remembered an incident that had happened within the first few moons after he joined Sparrowclan. "An exciting story about the clan when I was younger huh? I think I have just the thing," he said. He wrapped his tail around his paws and was silent for a moment, trying to figure out how to start. "Well, it all started about a three moons after I joined Sparrowclan. Back then, there was another clan bordering us called Crowclan. They dissolved many moons before you were born, so you won't hear about them anymore. I was on a patrol with Sparrowstar and a few other warriors and we were checking the Crowclan border. It was just standard that if we saw a patrol from Crowclan we would call out a greeting to them, so when we saw movement on the other side of the border we did so. But it wasn't a Crowclan patrol that was on that side of the border," Nightheart said. He paused at this point for dramatic effect.

can I make a kit to go with Rabbitkit, for this storytelling that's going on?

Hades stared at Summersplash in disbelief, unsure of what to respond to. Either he was dreaming or he found a very friendly cat. "Umm... Okay, what you aren't going to chase me off your territory?" He said with a smirk. Hades knew once of his specialities was pushing the nerves of others, sometimes incidentally and other times not. He glanced the she-cat up and down, noticing she didn't seem very dangerous.

Bramblepath turned to face Spiderblossom, tasting the air as he did so. He didn't speak for a few seconds, then decided that it would make sense to ask the deputy about the situation. "Well, I thought that I smelled catnip nearby, and I was trying to figure out if it was just from the bundle you were carrying..." he said slowly. He took in another deep breath and looked around again. "It's probably just wishful thinking though. If I could find a second stash of catnip it would be significantly harder for me to overharvest the area I just showed you," he continued, shaking his head as he tried to make up his mind.

"No, I'm not. A medicine cat doesn't chase cats we heal them and we're very friendly. Now, if my brother Wingheart saw you then you would be in trouble." Summersplash meowed.

Hades took a step back from the she-cat, confused. There was that title again. Medicine cat. Obviously it meant healer or something, but why did this group need a healer? He wanted to take off into the forest, scenting the air for more of these cats. "Then, maybe I'll just go," Hades growled annoyed that the she-cat wasn't what he thought these cats would be like.

Hades gave one last glance at Summersplash before heading back through to the west. He didn't look back as he wanted to get to the edge of the territory before he decided to stop and take a breather. His mind was curious as to how these group of cats lived, but his encounter was strange and odd. All the she-cat cared about was finding her litter mate. Who needs siblings anyways? I survived all on my own, no thanks to my family! Hades growled in his head.

Bluelotus continued his search when he saw a tree and smelt the familiar scent of blood. Fear shoot through him as he ran over, before spotting a hole. Careful not to fall in he called down, “Hello?”
“Blue?” His brother’s voice called.
“Stygian! Are you okay?”
“I’m stuck down here with another tom. He’s lost a lot of blood and broke a bone. Blue, I can’t see anything.” He replied. Bluelotus noted the subtle panic in his brother’s voice. They relied on their sight, what were they supposed to do without it?

Spiderblossom nodded her head as the two walked back to the medicine den. She’d let Bramblepath find the Warrior he wanted to assist him. She trusted him after all. He was their medicine cat. “Thank you again for allowing me to accompany you, Bramblepath. I quite enjoyed the outing.”

“Perhaps getting us out of this hole?” Stygiansnow spoke. He didn’t mean for it to come out as harshly as it did, but in all honestly he was done with being in this hole, he hated feeling trapped.

Bluelotus looked over wondering when and how long these apprentices were here. For the time being it didn’t matter there were other cats and he didn’t have to leave his brother. “Go back to camp and get the others. Let them know what happened.” He replied.

“I’d rather it be sooner than later, Wingheart doesn’t have the luxury of waiting.” Stygiansnow called back. Sight right now was a minor inconvenience when compared to potential death by blood loss. He could only hope his brother and the other cat could get Wingheart out and safe.
