"Dappleshine," Mockingstar greated, voice hollow. The white-and-black cat looked tired, as if the patrol had been trekking back and forth across MoonClan territory all this time. That, unfortunately, was pretty much the case. With a shake of the head as if to clear it, Mockingstar turned to look at Dappleshine with a bit more exactness. The medicine cat seemed alright, but Mockingstar could detect something about her which made something the leader would almost have called a sixth sense at this point tingle. "What it is, Dappleshine?" Something was up, Mockingstar could taste it, but didn't completely address it. Instead, with a sharp jerk of the head, Mockingstar ordered, "Hollowstripe, Sparrowshine. Escort the rogues and Tatteredhawk to the spare den until we can deal with them. Post a guard. Darkheart, head to the medicine den so Dappleshine can treat your paws." The she-cat had scraped them over all the rocks they had climbed and one claw was bleeding. "An apprentice will make sure you and the others get some much needed food." Darkheart dipped her head to Mockingstar and then turned. Mockingstar's attention returned to Dappleshine.

Dappleshine dipped her head. following the orders of her leader, she quickly tended to the rest of the patrol before they were lead away. "The things I would like to speak to you about must be done in private." She lowered her head in respect. She didn't want to demand much from the leader seeing she was so exhausted already. "It was a message from starclan." She whispered, kneading the ground.

StarClan? Morningstar stiffened, but after a second nodded. "Alright Dappleshine." It was with quick pawsteps that Morningstar headed for the Leader's Den. This seemed urgent and Dappleshine's words were worrying. What could StarClan have said which would affect her so much? Turning as soon as they were both past the moss covered entrance, Morningstar asked, "What is it, Dappleshine? What has StarClan told you?" The tone of the words were stiff with worry and concern.

The medicine cat sat in front of her leader, she paws itching with nervousness. "I was given a message from starclan.. about the outsiders that were brought back into camp." She shuffled her paws, uneasy. "It wasnt good.." She looked up at her tired and sore leader. She debated on waiting to dump this news on her when she felt better.

Mockingstar hesitated, then leaned forward. Eyes narrowing, it looked as if the leader was trying to muster up the courage to ask Dappleshine what was going on. Finally ... "What did they say?" The words were hardly a breath. They drifted out of Mockingstar and into the air, where they hung. Ready to fall like poison rain. What had StarClan pronounced on their Clan? What wrong was going to happen? Mockingstar was sure it had to do with the outsiders, that they were at fault, but there was no way to really be sure until Dappleshine responded.

Dappleshine shuffled her paws and drew in a deep breath. The words of her leader hung in the air like the morning dew. It took all she had not to shake her pelt and dismiss the conversation as if it were nothing, telling her leader the clan was in danger was no easy feat. "MockingStar, Starclan has shown me that our clan is in danger if we harm these outside cats. I saw a vision of darkness, death and bloodshed... Our camp was defeated, no cats lived to tell the tale of our legacy or carry on with the kits and normal life. We were defeated by something far greater than what we could imagine." The medicine cats words were merely a whisper as she related the story to her leader. "We cannot harm these cats in anyway..." She mewed, looking at her leader.

Mockingstar bristled further, fur standing on end. "That's rediclous. They're rogues. How can they be important to the Clan or their lives matter to our well-being. They didn't affect us before, why does StarClan suddenly think that they will." There was a statement the frazzled leader also didn't make. What about their own traitor. Surely no cat could possibly benefit from having the rogues around if they could so easily turn a cat to run away from the Clan in which he had grown up in? "Was there anything else?" Mockingstar tried instead. "Any reason that StarClan gave?" It was tempting just to tell the medicine cat that she must have been mistaken, and that she should talk to StarCaln again. But Dappleshine wasn't one to misread StarClan's messages like that.

The medicine cat shook her head. "all they said was "If we do not help those in need, our clan would not be helped..." She mewed quietly. She understood the frustration of her leader, but what scared he rthe most was her seeming disbelief in wha tDappleshine has said. "They didnt say anything in regards to Tiger...." She mewed helplessly. "But we both know we ant kill him.."

Mockingstar's tail flicked in discontent. "Fine. Alright." It wasn't alright. But what else was there to do? "What do you suggest we do, Dappleshine?" There was another sigh in the leader's voice. "Do we keep them prisoners? They can hardly join the Clan, now can they? How would they even fit into our way of life?" Leaning forward, Mockingstar also prompted, "And how can we help them? What would rogues even need help with?"

Dappleshine thought for a moment, her brow cresing. Her leader has never asked for help when deciding the saftey of the clan. "Maybe you should sleep on it, and I can travel to the eye of the moon and see if I can get an answer from Starclan?" She offered. She didnt like the thought of the fate of her clan in her hand.

Mockingstar considered. This seemed like the best course of action and it was easy to see why MoonClan had the medicine cat that it did. It was with a bit or reluctance that the leader nodded. "Wise console, Dappleshine." But Mockingstar didn't have to like it. "Travel to the eye of the moon as soon as you can." It was a dismal for the tired black-and-white cat to think ...
(Maybe timeskip to eye of the moon?)

(Sounds like a plan to me!)
The medicine cat heaved herself up, it had been a long walk to the eye of the moon, and her paws ached from climbing the stones. "I am not the young cat i used to be." She mewed jokingly. It had been a full days travel to get to where the two needed to go. The herbs that they had taken to ease their hunger had began to wear off, but the moon was almost at its peak, meaning it was time. She looked over her shoulder to have eyes on her leader. "You ready?" She asked, hopeful.

Mockingstar's fur was puffed up against the brisk wind and the look in the hollow eyes that stared back at Dappleshine wasn't as convincing as they should have been. "Yes." It was the only response that Dappleshine got. The next thing that happened, Mockingstar was walking forward, steps slow but purposeful. One after the other, a glance cast at Dappleshine here and there with trepidation. What would StarClan say? What was MoonClan's fate? It seemed like it was darker than Mockingstar could hope, but there was little to do about it.
(You want to RP some StarClan cats or should I?)

(I dont mind posting some lol) "You've come." A deep soothing voice mewed. A large brown tom stepped out of the surrounding shadows, his muscles rippling. It was Darkstar. "Trouble awaits you." With a flick of his tail, the clouds swelled and diappeared bathing to the cats in a blinding white light. A scene played, much like a memory in the sky. It was Mockingstar, as a kit. Her father was sneaking out of the camp, but where? There was nothing around for miles. A kit screamed miles away from the camp, shaking the world like thunder. The tom ran, his breath coming in gasps. Save your kin or the forest will fall. A voice echoed, Chilling.
Dappleshine crouched. She could only watch as her leader shared tongues with Starclan. A chill creeped through her fur. She knew that what ever her leader saw wouldnt be good. She waited quietly.

Mockingstar's fur bristled as StarClan showed the prophecy of doom that Dappleshine had hinted at. There was nothing to be done as it seemed to play out, terror gripping Mockingstar's chest with a grasp as sharp as claws. "No," the leader hissed. No, this couldn't be right. "How is all this based on the rogues! Why do they matter?" There was no telling what this vague hints meant. Was StarClan's whole point to be cryptic? Mockingstar could feel the creeping horror, growing like a permafrost. "Just ..." Just say something clearly.

Starclan voices boomed in and out. "If yu do not take care of others, others will not take care of you." A voice echoed in the ears of Mockingstar. With a sudden change of scenery and flash of blinding white light, the mountains were suddenly covered in blood, cats screams were to he heard miles away. "No cat will survive this." Someone whispered before everything went dark.

Mockingstar woke with a gasp, feeling very small all of a sudden. Eyes wide, the leader hurried returned to shaking paws. It was a struggle to look around, to locate Dappleshine, but after Mockingstar managed there was a sigh of a relief. The medicine cat was grounding where nothing else seemed to be. It just seemed so likely that the dream had already made it into the real world. "What do you think?" Mockingstar asked. "How ... how should we ... assist these rogues?" Did anyone even know what they wanted?

Dappleshine stood slowly to her paws. It was evident that her Leader had been educated on the subject at hand, and seeing how unsure of everything she suddenly was made her uneasy. “Mockingstar, I think the forst step would be to get back and check on the clan...” she wasn’t sure what these rogues were capable of, and seeing they were at least a days journey away, the sooner they left the better.

"Fine, fine," said Mockingstar distractedly. But there seemed no point in waiting around. After all, if both of them did, than what Dappleshine suggested might very well happen. Stepping forward, Mockingstar started to lead the way, away from the memories of StarClan and the dire warning they had given. Hopefully they wouldn't be too late for anything that they couldn't take back.
(Should anything be wrong when they get back?)
