Awesome, ok that layout is also easy to replicate so it should be flexible for the other owners as well I think :>
Next maybe we should nail down the clan themes, values, and some names that represent them overall. Do you have any ideas?

about that rock, maybe it could be called flaming rock or something similar? my thought was that when the sun shines on it it's given a sort of reddish glow and that's what it was named after

for the crag clan I like RussetClan, in relation to the color of the rocks, or just CragClan because it's simple and explanatory xd

Yeah my favorites are RussetClan and ScorchClan after the red rocks.
What about the Plains clan? I'm fond of BristleClan since it sounds unique

Alright so my personal favorites are ShoreClan or CoastClan for the Water one. ScorchClan or RussetClan for the Crag one, and then BristleClan for the Plains

We can always come back to it but at least we've settled on BristleClan XD
Next we need some customs or traditions. Basically special ceremonies, holidays, events, etc. One example is a special ceremony for cats to become mates, and the clan may believe if this ceremony isn't officially performed then the mates and any kits they have are cursed.

That's an interesting one
I thought that maybe the water clan's starclan concept is like water gods - when a cat dies they let the body into the ocean so they can join their ancestors and when a kit is born (or maybe becoming an apprentice/warrior) they dip them in the ocean for blessings? and then maybe theres a little island or a rock jutting out of the water where they fall asleep on for medicine cats/leaders to meet with starclan (like moon rock/pool)

Those are all so good for the water one! I was thinking religion wise that they all worship a general "StarClan' and it's all the same in reality, but each clan is certain that a specific element is more closely associated with StarClan. The water clan is convinced the ocean and water reflects StarClan's purity and calm serenity, as well as wisdom. The crag clan believes that fire and warmth reflects StarClan because they are powerful yet loving. Finally the plains clan believes that the earth reflects StarClan because it is grounded and always at their feet, just as StarClan is always at their side. In reality StarClan is all of these things and more, so while all clans do worship something true, they all are also missing a part of what truly makes StarClan. |

I like the idea of a ceremony. Maybe in waterclan, a couple has to spend a moon apart in some way as a way to see if they can live without each other. Because water comes in phases and tides, right? Will you still love the person they are a moon from now? years and decades? etc etc

I put my name down for the Water Clan but I also love the crag clan a lot so I'd be up to lead that one if you have a preference. At this point all are open since the person who wanted BristleClan hasn't been around. |

Maybe we look at values. The water clan could be more clam and reserved, valuing a good handle in emotions. The crag clan could be the fighters and are more feisty and willing to pick fights and take risks. And then the plains clan can be free spirited and relaxed. They’re the most likely to help others, but only if they see personal gain as well |

I really like that. It could also contribute to the idea with the kit -
(BristleClan can be the one with the sickness where the kit was born)
water clan can be the one wanting the kit to keep it out of drama
crag clan can want to get rid of the kit, taking it from BristleClan and maybe exiling it so it wont kill them all?
BristleClan wants to keep the kit so it can get rid of the sickness
So crag clan and plains clan disagree on the overall meaning of the kit prophecy - whether the kit will save them from the sickness or destroy them
