Jump In Crossover RP!

Little Cato stopped at the edge of a large puddle and looked at the dark water below. Raindrops from above constantly sent the puddle rippling across its surface, breaking any reflections into fragments. "Maybe I'm in a different time." He reasoned with himself. "I need to see if I can find someone who can help me."

Little Cato jumped back at the sound of a voice to his side. He looked to see two people approaching him. He reached for his pistol but, to his dismay, he felt nothing in his holster. "Who are you and whaddya want?" He questioned aggressively.

(even if he's a cat... chuuya will be quietly happy that little cato is shorter than he is)

"You're the one that was making such a racket we had to come investigate," Chuuya said, narrowing his eyes at the newcomer. He glanced over to Bolin Jr., but decided to save his own introduction for later. "We can just leave you alone if you'd rather have that," he said with a fiendish glint in his eyes.

Bolin Jr looked over to Chuuya with a raised eyebrow, "That's an interesting name..." He said before looking Little Cato over

"Well I'd ask who you're looking for but how do we know you're not dangerous or something?" He asked crossing his arms

"Who said I wasn't dangerous?" The Ventrexian asked rhetorically. "Give me a rifle and I could hit you between the eyes two thimbles fields away. The thing is, I'm not dumb. I'm not going to kill you unless you give me reason to. You seem like a decent type. Your friend there, though, might wanna check his attitude." Looking over at Chuuya, Little Cato let his distaste for him show in his eyes. "And yes, I'd be willing to help you two in return, assuming we actually find the person I'm looking for."

(Yeah you're good. This do what ya gotta do to develop the characters)

"You--" Chuuya started toward him with his hands balled into fists, though they were still in his pockets. But he decided to hold his tongue, calm down the faint red aura that his gravity-manipulation Ability had just began to send emanating from his body. Gritting his teeth, he glanced back over at Bolin Jr. "Well, we're both looking for people too. Don't know if we'll find your someone in this place anyway."

Bolin let out a little sigh happy that Chuuya didn't decide to start a fight or anything. 'I can fight but I don't want to' he thought before realizing Little Cato had asked for something

"Umm what's a proton battery? Do you know what that is?" He asked turning to Chuuya

(just fyi, if you hadn't guessed already, little cato is my avatar. Also, just to give y'all a little background, his dad is no longer in the picture due to him getting possessed, and Gary was his dad's best friend, and so Gary adopted him to help little cato regain a sense of normalty in his life. Also his dad's name is Avocato, hence little Cato)

Little cato gave them a look of surprise. "Neither of you have any idea what a proton battery is?" He shook his head, both to show a bit of disappointment and to buy himself a moment to think. "These proton batteries are a bit more difficult to find than looking on a held in a store." The Ventrexian explained. "They're rare, but they last for decades. I've got no clue how mine were drained, but it must've happened when I was transported here. If there's any form of modern technology here, I should be able to find someone who knows where I could get a few. You can usually find a few in black markets, but I'm not trying to pay that much for them. Half the time they don't even work."

(i appreciate the background! chuuya's just hoping to get back to his mafia buddies. he doesn't really have a family...it's a weird backstory of his, but he was sort of "created" or "brought into being" at the equivalent age of 8, to be a vessel for this, sort of...entity? supernatural being? it's very strange, but he lives his life as a human now. )

"Nah, I've got real problems to worry about where I'm from," said Chuuya, cocking his head. "But...we're in a pretty empty area, right now. You do have to wonder if there's others around, that might know where to get something like that."

Bolin rubbed the back of his neck at the mention of stealing things, "Well hopefully we won't have to steal anything" he mumbled as the three of them began walking again

(I'm honestly debating whether or not to add in little cato's dad just to have an enemy. We might also be able to add a bit of a plot in too, because his dad is possessed and the entity possessing him has the ability to jump from host to host, see we could see that happen if y'all want to.)

(sweet. Plus, it'd be cool to have some interaction between little cato and unpossessed Avocato. Their story is a tragic one, so it's always a breath of fresh air to have them reconnect. Literally every time he gets his dad back, he just gets ripped away again.)

(if y'all are looking for a unique show to watch, I'd definitely suggest final space. It's very serialized, especially the first season, and unlike a lot of other animated shows, it has a good blend of comedy and complete seriousness and can fluctuate extremely well, such as going from fighting a frost giant in a dance off to accidental genocide in a span of a couple minutes.)

(Also, worst case scenario, if no one else responds, we could always Cary this over to PM or keep going here. Obviously give them a bit, but I'd say after maybe a couple days, we carry on without them. I think we got a good thing going right now.)

(the episodes come in cycles. It's weird. If you have any form of cable, you can link it to the TBS app/website and watch all the episodes in season 2 and about half the episodes in season 1 at any given time. Season 1 right now is in the last 5 episode cycle, but it should switch sometime this weekend. If you don't want to wait, the entirety of season 1 is on YouTube in segments to avoid copyright infringements, though it's kind of frowned upon.)
