Jump In Crossover RP!

Chuuya's brow furrowed. That was an unfamiliar term, earthbender. But I think I get the idea... he thought. "So you can manipulate earth, huh?" Carefully, almost gracefully, the executive brought himself back down to the earth, and the aura faded. So he's not from my world, somehow. This guy was either convincingly playing dumb, or truly not much of an apparent threat; so, literally leveling the playing field between them, Chuuya looked the newcomer up and down. He wondered if this, this earthbending rivaled the abilities he was familiar with. "Are you strong?" he asked, raising his eyebrows.

(I don't mind if you join tho maybe someone else can give you a run down cuz idk if id explain it well lol)

"You know how we're here, right?" The stranger replied. "Well the same thing is happening everywhere else. Portals. The enemy is coming. What is your name?"

"That's the thing. No one knows how they got here. This danger is like none other we've ever seen." The green-armored soldier fingered his rifle. "Where are your other squad members?"

"The enemy, huh?" said Ranpo, thinking with his pointer finger on his chin. The man they were talking to now was seriously dressed like a soldier, he noticed. "Do you know who the enemy is, then?" he asked. "Oh. I should introduce myself, shouldn't I? I guess people usually do that. I'm Ranpo Edogawa... myworld's greatest detective."

"Hey, hey. That's not bad at all. You call it earthbending?" Chuuya asked, cocking his head to the side. He might be able to manage something similar with his own versatile ability, but ripping a chunk of earth from the ground, separating it from everything around it, might prove a challenge.

"Sticking together..." he murmured. "As much as I'd like to test my might against yours, you've probably got a point. We don't know what maniacs might be out and about, eh? That is, if you aren't an enemy." This guy didn't seem like he had bad intentions to Chuuya, but he was curious what the young man would say.

"Hah!" Chuuya couldn't help but laugh, shaking his head. "No, no, I don't care if you're a 'bad guy'." The man was a mafioso, after all. And in his early teen years, he'd led a gang. "I just care if you're my enemy, right now." He was intense for a moment, regarding Bolin with an expression that made it clear he would defend himself ruthlessly if indeed there was a a problem.

"But it doesn't seem like you are. So yeah. Let's find whoever took us from our homes and kick their ass."

(so, i've just thought of something funny. it's 100% optional but i wanted to mention it - chuuya is, like, short. he's like 5'3". and people, especially his former mafia partner and rival...who he hates...tend to point it out to him. so if something like his height comes up, mentioning it would be like poking a bear.... again, just an option of something that could be entertaining lol. Only if you want, and only if you feel like it fits into their conversation or actions somehow. but i wanted to bring up this quirk of his lol)

This guy seemed pretty enthusiastic, Chuuya noticed, sighing to himself. "I wouldn't be so quick to run ahead," he thought aloud. "We don't know if other people got pulled here, I guess. Or if there's dangerous people hiding somewhere around."

He cocked his head. "What's your name anyway, earthbender?"

"Powerful users of magic," the soldier said. "In another world, another past, they are called 'Death Eaters'.Minions of the Dark Lord Voldemort. We think that's who opened these portals."
He cocked his helmeted head. "Ranpo, eh? World's greatest detective? "
He sounded slightly mocking. "I'm Spartan 117, known as Master Chief."

Chuuya watched him for a moment, almost amused. Yeah, he's a happy-go-lucky kid. He's not gonna have any tricks up his sleeve for me. As long as he doesn't end up a liability... he thought. "Bolin, okay." He pulled one gloved hand from his pocket and shook Bolin's. He wondered...what should this kid call him? His subordinates in the Port Mafia called him by his surname, while the other executives and the boss used his given name. But did ranks really mean much in a situation like this? "...Chuuya Nakahara. Though a kid like you should probably call me my last name, Nakahara. Out of respect, you know."

Bolin gladly shook Chuuya's hand before nodding again, "Alright Nakahara it is! It's nice to meet you" he grinned before walking a little slower down the path

"Do you have many friends waiting for you back home?" Bolin asked randomly, he kind of figured it'd be nice to get to know the other man

Bolin nodded as Chuuya talked before replying, "I have a lot of family back home at least, my dad, his brother, my mom, cousins and stuff yknow? I have a few friends not related to me but my families the most important for sure" he explained feeling a little home sick
"We'll get back...." he said more of a reassurance to himself than Chuuya

Looking forward it seemed that they were getting close to a fork in the road

Little Cato looked around as his eyes adjusted to his surroundings. It was raining, and he could feel his clothes and his fur getting soaked. He flicked his ear in annoyance before he really took in everything around him. "Gary!" He called out, concerned that no one was around. "Hue? Nightfall? Anybody?" After a moment or two, he added in, "Kevin?" He braced himself, expecting the annoying robot to appear, but, to little Cato's mixture of relief and anxiety, he never showed. "Where am I?" He muttered to himself, looking down at the computer on his arm. Frustration bubbled up upon his face as he realized that his power source had been drained and the computer was dead. "I need to find a way to contact the Crimson Light." He decided. "But first, I need to find somewhere to wait out this storm.
