Monster Legends: Ragnarok's Reign {NEEDS MEMBERS!!!!!}

The group listened curiously, and Rogue said "Hopefully they die. Or get severely injured. Orcs are knuckle-draggers." He hated orcs, mainly because of what they did to him. Aurus nudged him in a comforting manner as Mercurius listened in to what Necro said to him. Awh, look at you wanting to defend me. I'll have to thank you sometime~


The cub just shrugged. "You don't need to accept bad things. Bad things make you sad." And sad wasn't good.


Remiel listened just as their drinks were brought over. After the waiter left, he said "I'm sure there are jobs here you can find maybe, or you can get one of those "old legend" type jobs. With me or Fatid tagging along of course." The jobs Remiel mentioned were no easy task. They were like old relics left to rust, because they weren't exactly walks in the park.

Rogue shrugged a little. "They're right though. I've got my archery, but I'm never going to be as good as any of these guys. You don't count because, well, you're a Warmaster." He was probably around 80% human at least, so he was severely crippled compared to the others. Aurus then said "You've got more heart than those jerks though, huh?"

The cub just flicked an ear. He then looked as some other monster kids walked over, looking at them curiously before one asked "Are you a human?"

Remiel blinked once. "Well, taking them all into consideration of difficulty, I suppose there's some that could suit you. One of them would be the capture of another hunter, who stole some very valuable things. Rabies, Anger of the Seven Sins, has escaped the island he and the other sins were put on. There is also a monster named Rubellus running around, eating others for their power."

(Aurus (magic/dark) and the Rorcal (water/dark) are dark monsters XD Rogue too but his fire and dark powers are like little sparklers compared to actual monsters. They're epic tier monsters tho so they're weaker. The only pure non-dark is Mercurius I think, but pure elements like Mercurius and Necromancer are stronger by default because of their raw elemental power. They're not versatile in the sense of having capacity for multiple elements, but they'll still yeet most monsters below them in one on one XD)


Aurus looked over at Necromancer. "You'll show them, I'm sure. Once word really spreads that you're rallying an army, they will come. It is in a monster's nature to respond to a Warmaster's call of their element." Though he supposed those who went to Ragnarok, who supposedly had no defined element, were drawn to his raw power rather than any connection of elements.

One of the kids, a Firesaur, sniffed at him curiously. "My pa says that humans males have fur on their faces. Why don't you have any." One of the others said thoughtfully "My mom says girls don't have the fur on their faces. This one's probably a girl."

Remiel shrugged. "A lot, but mainly trying to get Rabies and Rubellus. Gregorz got close to capturing Rubellus though, by drugging him, but the drugs wore off too soon and Rubellus got away. You're human though, so Rubellus would have no desire to eat you at least, as humans don't have any magic or powers."

After everyone ordered, Rogue said "Maybe you just haven't gone to the right places yet. I'm sure there's places out there that have monsters who will follow."


The kids looked skeptical. "Why would they want to shave their fur? Aren't they cold enough already?" One of them then said "They wear extra skin though. See?" He poked at Colby's shirt, and the cub lightly batted at the paw.


Remiel shrugged. "Well, for the rogue hunter you can just bring her in to a proper jailing facility unless you need to kill her. I'm pretty sure you can't kill Rubellus though, on your own. Just because he's eaten so many monsters, the power keeps him alive. You can kill Rabies though, but orders are always to return him to the Island with the other sins. Rubellus would probably need to he taken to the Chaos Fortress, where the particularly bad monsters go."

Rogue held up his hands. "I don't know for sure, though I do think if we went west we could find more dark monsters that might not be allied. Most of Ragnarok's forces are concentrated in the east and south."


They shook their heads. "No, npt where we've been. We just got here yesterday, to see the angels. Our parents have always wanted to see them. I wanted to touch their feathers, but mama said no."


Remiel nodded. "Do you want me or Fatid to go with you? Just in case?" He knew hunters had to do jobs on their own sometimes though.

Aurus nodded once, saying to the two new monsters "Welcome to the group, by the way. I'm Aurus." Rogue and the Rorcal, named Leesi, also officially introduced themselves.


The Firesaur kid shrugged. "If you have to ask if he is or not, he probably isn't. Well, a purebred one anyway. There are tons of angel hybrids though apparently. The Light Warmonger is one." He squeaked when his sister elbowed him while saying "It's Warmaster, featherbrain."


Remiel shook his head. "I could definitely help you with Rubellus at least. He is a Nature monster, while my element is Fire." Though Rubellus was a tank of a monster, even more than Fatid was. "The rogue hunter would be easier to go after, but Rubellus would be a fast track to a good reputation. Monsters might even seek you out rather than you having to look for jobs."

Rogue and Leesi both waved, while Aurus just smiled. "So, where do you come from? Born here, somewhere else, etc?"


The male smiled at this, and his sister said "We're also here to see the fights. A lot of cool monsters are going to be there to show off to Uriel and his brother."


Remiel wanted to protest, but gave in and said "Fine, fine. Make sure you also obtain a gas mask. Just being near Rubellus will kill humans without proper protection, since he's essentially a huge, toxic mushroom with legs."

Aurus nodded a little. "I see. Well, I had a pack back home, but I decided to travel." Leesi explained having lived with a pod before, and Rogue lived with humans before being taken by orcs.


The kids smiled excitedly. "Later today, in... half an hour maybe. A lot of bigshots will be here! Voltaik, Sunblast, even Oikawa and Lamia! I even hear Timerion will be there, but an old fart like that will be destroyed in my opinion."


Remiel laughed. "I'm sure you'll be able to find one. The Wastelands have plenty of that stuff, if you can convince Roxen and Nexor to give it to you."

Rogue shrugged a little. "At least I'm stronger now, so they did something useful." At the expense of his well-being at nearly every turn, but still.



The cub then said to Colby "Ask." He glanced back at their babysitters, who were still there to listen to the panda talk about things less depressing than her father's troubles. The Firesaur kids then said "If you get to go, you can sit with our family."



Remiel nodded. "Definitely. One feather would be overkill though, so they'll probably let you leave with whatever you want." Sure, the Wastelands looked like a big trash heap, but the homes of those who lived there were full of treasures and useful things. Especially the kings of the Wastelands, which were Nexor and Roxen.

Rogue nodded a little, pointed ears twitching slightly. Leesi then said "Well, maybe those two jerks before are getting what they deserve as we speak."



Fatid looked down at the two, blinking once before asking "Yes?" The cub then just looked to Colby to speak.


Remiel thought for a moment. "Hmm... you might want to restock on bullets. Maybe even get a more powerful gun or crossbow from the twins. Rubellus is a tank of a monster, with very tough skin. Since we'll probably only be able to drug him, you'll want to coat whatever you use with some sort of sleeping agent."

Rogue smiled at that. "Let's just forget about them for now then, and enjoy our food."


Fatid tilted his head. "Oh?" He looked to Criss. "There's still plenty of daylight left, and tons of freetime. Might as well spend some of it there." Meaning he and Criss would go too. They weren't letting the boys go alone.


Remiel nodded. "That would work. I'm sure they'll show you other things as well once you get there. Speaking off, when will you want to head out?"

Rogue's slitted nostrils twitched at the smell of food, stomach growling as Aurus chuckled in amusement.


Fatid just tilted his head before looking to Criss to see what she thought.



Remiel nodded slowly. "Well, just let me know whenever you're ready to go." He then looked as their food was finally brought.

The group talked amongst themselves, speaking to the new monsters as if they were old friends.


Fatid then said "Exactly. Don't worry, you can sit with your new friends and all, but we have to keep you in our sights."


Remiel took his time eating. After a short time of silence he said "Maybe if you're ever close on your travels, we can stop by my human home. My human family has long since passed, but I still watch the generations come and go. They know me."

Leesi sat back with a smile. "Well, that was good. Maybe if we ever stop by again, we'll come here."


Fatid raised a brow at this before smiling slightly in amusement. "We should," he decided in agreement.



Remiel nodded. "My human side, yes. The original village itself is something of the past, but the current one is still in the same area." He missed his original home though. "Most of them are entirely human, but there are a few dragon hybrids running around." His human family wasn't picky when it came to partners, and he mentally snorted at the thought.
