Mercurius turned as the monsters were called. "I'm curious to see what they can do," he said simply, waiting patiently for the fight to start.
After the owl went about his day, Fatid smiled slightly. "You'll do great, I'm sure."

The battle soon began, the dark elementals my powers seeming to work in compliments to one another. They were very fast on their feet as well.
Criss smiled a little nervously, “I hope I do.” She said. “Now, before I get myself too nervous we should probably go find Colby and that cub.”

Mercurius watched intently, large tail twitching occasionally as his emerald eyes tracked the movement of the fight. "They're good," he said.
Fatid walked with Criss to go find the group again. When they did, Remiel noticed them and waved before asking "Find anything interesting?" He glanced as the cub wandered over a stall selling fabrics, the owner shooing him away as he tried to play with some.

Necromancer only made a sound of acknowledgement, keeping himself neutral. This was business, so he wouldn't show serious interest.
"Yeah, actually." Criss said, "we watched a magic show and Im now getting lessons to do stuff like that now."

Mercurius kept his gaze on the fight, watching the duo intently. He wasn't as hidden with his interest as Necro, of the Warnaster was even interested at all?
Remiel raised a brow. "Oh? Was it the owl? Cornelius? Or, well, "Hoodini", as he likes to call himself." He found the stage name a little silly, but the owl was quite a spectacle nonetheless.

Eventually the fight ended with the two dark monsters claiming victory. That’s when Necromancer politely clapped with the rest of the onlookers.
“Yes, he was an owl so I’m assuming that was him then.” Criss said, “do you know him?”
((Sorry I couldn’t find if you said his name before so I just went with it

Mercurius' whiskers twitched as he watched them take victory. He glanced over at Necro, curious as to what he thought.
Remiel nodded. "Cornelius is one of the only ones I know that still does actual magic shows. He's been doing that stuff since he was little though, so you've got a good teacher."

Necromancer just looked to Mercurius quietly before moving again to go back to where they would be recovering in a moment.
“Good, I’m glad. Some of the things he did could actually help in battle.” Criss said. “What have you guys been doing in the meantime?”

Mercurius looked around for the two monsters, studying the other recovering fighters as he did. There were really no other dark monsters there, so the duo had been a lucky find.
Remiel smiled slightly. "We've been taking a look around, stopped to watch a few monsters show off their powers, and had to find the cub a few times." The cub liked to wander off, but was now holding Colby's hand per Remiel's instructions.

Necromancer greeted the two dark monsters, finally putting a smile on his face as he congratulated them.
“Oh, I see.” Criss said, looking to where Colby was happily swinging his and the cubs hands as they walked.

Fatid then said to Remiel and Cally "Whenever you two want to head out on your own, we can take the kids with us."

One of the monsters smiled at this, “thank you.” He said, “I hope we impressed.” Necromancer nodded, “you certainly did.”
Cally looked to Remiel before saying, “now is good, if you don’t mind. If it begins to get late just drop them off at my parents okay?”

Mercurius looked over at Necromancer. Did this mean that he was going to officially invite them along? If the pair truly wanted to join.
Fatid nodded. "Of course." He glanced over at the kids, the cub just looking over at a stall selling jewelry due to the shiny objects. Remiel then smiled, saying "Thank you, really."

Necromancer smiled a little as he now formally asked them to join his group. The two dark monsters gladly agreed.
Criss shrugged, “it’s no problem. Besides, after we’re done with these kids Fatid and I are going on a date, so we’ll be around anyway.” She said. Calmly gasped, “since when was that a plan?”

Mercurius smiled at them. "Great. It's a little, uhm, difficult to find dark monsters that will join up."
Fatid shrugged. "We decided a little while ago, after we'd split off from the group."

“Well, now you have us.” The monster said, “we are mixes of a few other dark monsters as well, so we have the power of a few different species. I am Corellia and this is my brother Bardan. Since we don’t have species names we decided to give ourselves names.”
“Oh, well that’s fun.” Cally said, “cant wait to hear all about it tomorrow.”

Mercurius nodded once. "Very nice to meet you both. I'm Mercurius, and I'm pretty sure you know who this is." He smiled sheepishly as he mentioned the Warmaster. Anyone was likely to remember Necromancer's name over his.
Fatid nodded once, and Remiel said "Alright. Well, we'll leave these two with you now. They don't cause trouble, so you'll be fine." Well, except for the cub's tendency to wander.

The two monsters smiled to Mercurius, doing a polite bow. Necromancer then simply said, “hey your injuries looked at and patched up then meet us back outside.” He said.
“Alright. Have fun.” Criss said. “Colby be good!” Cally called to her brother.

Mercurius watched the two monsters go to get treated before looking back toward Necro. "Guess we'll meet them outside then?"
Fatid looked down at the two kids, the cub sniffing at him and Criss curiously.
Remiel smiled slightly as he and Cally left. "I'm sure they'll be fine. The kids weren't trouble at all, but I'm glad we don't have to watch them the entire day."

Necromancer gave Mercurius a blank look, “that is what I said.” He said simply before turning to go outside. “Pro tip. This is work. Don’t be so lively and emotional. You’ll get played off of how you act.” He said, still looking ahead.
Criss bent down, smiling as she said, “so, where do you two want to go next?”
“Yeah, this will be nice. Just the two of us.” Cally agreed, “I just wish my parents won’t take me being around more as an opportunity to had Colby off to my watch all the time.”

Mercurius sniffed. "Not everything calls for seriousness, you know." An ear flicked before he continued. "I guess you're right for the current task though."
The cub just looked at Criss for a moment, whiskers twitching before he said "I don't know," he said quietly, looking nervous at being given options.
Remiel raised a brow. "I'm sure you'll talk with them if it turns out that way. There's a place where kids can be watched during the day while parents are busy, but I suppose it is understandable to want someone familiar to watch them."

“Monsters aren’t dumb obviously. They know their worth. If you show interest they’ll try playing you. It’s better to be safe and act mutual.” Necromancer explained, “it also makes people want to impress you more to cause a reaction of sorts.”
“Let’s get ice cream!” Colby spoke up, raising the hand that was connected with the cub’s into the air. “Do they even have ice cream here?” Criss asked Fatid.
“Colby should also start going to school.” Criss said, “maybe that’ll occupy him..”

Mercurius tilted his head thoughtfully. He decided not to say anything else on the matter, though he did nod a little. "I'll make sure to tone it down," he said quietly.
Fatid thought for a moment. "I'm sure there is. There may be a monster that lives here, and he made all kinda of frozen stuff when I knew him. Maybe he still does, if he's here."
Remiel smiled slightly. "I'm sure it will. Things will work out. I'll be around to help if you need it too."

“Good. That’s the right answer.” Necromancer said simply. He then sighed, “sorry if that’s harsh. But my business me is different from my love life me.”
“Let’s go find him!” Colby said, taking Fatid’s hand in his free one, looking to him expectantly. Criss smiled at the three with amusement.
“Thanks. I suppose you’re right.” Cally said softly. “Let’s not think about it now yeah? This date is just about us. No need to think about my parents.”

Mercurius shook his head. "It's fine. I'm just not used to being serious, you know? My travels are usually more... well, not serious."
Fatid smiled slightly before leading the way. He had to ask around some, but they were eventually on their way to find the monster in question.
Remiel smiled in amusement. "Of course. Come on." He had mentioned a place earlier that they could go. "It'll be nice to finally have some time to ourselves."

“Well, don’t get discouraged. The way you act is very cute. It’s just sometimes doesn’t mix well with business matters.” Necromancer explained.
Criss gently took Fatid’s other hand, smiling softly to him before looking ahead again. Once they neared the place Colby let go of Fatid’s hand and ran with the cub up to the monster.
Cally nodded, “yeah, it really will. And it will also be nice just to relax for a night.” She added. Once they reached the place Cally looked up at the building, “looks nice.” She said.

Mercurius nodded again, but his whiskers twitched before he grumbled. "I'm not cute." Though he grumbled in that way that probably begged to differ honestly, but he tried to be serious after as they went to wait outside for the other two monsters.
The monster in question looked to be some cross of a panda and a dog of some kind. She was working out of a small stall with a variety of containers set out. The air was colder there, but not an uncomfortable cold. There was even a cute little banner that said "Claus' Creamery" on it in crappy bubble letters that still managed to look cute. She had just finished with some customers before looking down at the kids. "Ah, hello! Found the best ice cream around, eh?" Fatid sniffed before saying "It's the only ice cream around." He smiled slightly as she gave that (-3-) sorta look.
Remiel let Cally go in first as he said "Yeah, it's a pretty decent place to find somewhere like this. Isn't the most... refined-looking place but the food is good."

Necromancer let out a loud barrel like laughter, before looking going serious and giving Mercurius a seductive look, “if only we weren’t working and not in public. I’d show you just how just how adorable you can be~.” He growled.
Colby was totally into it as he smiled and nodded, “what flavors do you have?” He asked, going on his tip toes to try seeing past the front of her set up.
“Well then I’m excited to try it out.” Cally said, thanking him also as she walked through the front door. She talked with the lady standing at the front desk before the two were led to a table.

Mercurius blushed beneath his fur at this. He tried not to be obvious though, but it probably wasn't working out for the fox that well.
The panda-dog smiled widely as she said "Ooh, I've got lots! Chocolate, strawberry, Black Cherry, and Peppermint to start! Peppermint is papa's favorite. He's been eating a lot of it lately too... ever since he's had competition." Fatid blinked at this, saying "Who competes with Panda Claus?" The female sniffed before saying "Some scary reindeer with a robot! They deliver gifts suuuuper fast, and papa is barely able to deliver anything anymore! And the new toys are so basic too, no thought put into them!"
Remiel made sure Cally sat first before sitting. His wings twitched as he said "Order what you want. It's on me." He smiled slightly, traces of a fond look in his blue eyes. It was gone quickly though, the angel catching himself.

“Tonight.” Necromancer decides simply, “if you’re good.”
Criss listened with interest. Colby in the other hand only really cared about the ice cream asking, “can I have one scoop of chocolate and one scoop of strawberry in a cone?” He didn’t care if it was too much for him. Criss spoke up asking, “can you put it in a cup with a cone on top? And make them small scoops please.” She didn’t want Colby bouncing off the walls.
Cally raised an eyebrow, “you sure? Thank you. That’s very sweet.”
