Mercurius watched from his spot. He could tell it wasn't a serious spar, but it was still exciting to watch nonetheless. He briefly wondered how the spar with him and Necromancer would go, when they got around to it.
Fatid looked over at Criss with a slightly raised brow as the Skuller nodded. The rabbit then said "Alright, they're almost done. With nice spices and everything."

Right now the Electrex seemed to be winning, slowly wounding the Rockilla and making him weaker. Necromancer seemed interested in the fight. He then looked at his short companion, “need me to put you on my shoulders?” He asked teasingly.
Criss nodded, “what do you want for them?” She asked.

Mercurius sniffed at that. "No," he said with a slight smile. "I'm perfectly fine."
The rabbit thought for a moment before giving them a price. "If you're stingy with coins, I've got a list if things I can trade for."

Necromancer snickered, a hand moving to gently brash against the fox’s tail before playing it off like he was putting his arm around him.
“No, I’ve got coins I can pay with.” Criss said, putting what the fish was worth on the table top.

Mercurius' tail twitched slightly, and he smiled a little. He noticed others looking over again, but he paid them no mind. He just wished he could be more open about... whatever it was they had going on.
The rabbit nodded. The fish was soon ready, and as she went to serve them, she then said "Enjoy."

Necromancer sighed, “someday.. I’ll be able to love on you openly. When it isn’t dangerous to.” He said softly, “when you aren’t a target.”
Criss smiled, “thanks.” She said before turning to Fatid, handing him a fish.

Mercurius smiled slightly at that. "I can't wait~ I... I know I can treat you right."
Fatid thanked Criss. "Next meal's on me," he said to her. "Alright?" He smiled a little. The tentacles that were his hands wound and knit together to form, well, hands. He started picking at the fish, turning to look around at the other busy folk.

“I know you will. And I will treat you like a king.” Necromancer said, “as you deserve to be treated.”
Criss nodded, “alright.” She said. She then looked curiously as he formed hands. She tilted her head before focusing on her food.

Mercurius looked down at that, still a little shy. "Heh. You're the real king out of the two of us." He snickered a little, saying quietly "So that means I have to be of service to you, like a loyal subject~"
Fatid noticed her looking before offering a small smile. He continued eating as he walked with her away from the stand. He laughed a little, saying "This could actually be a little date." He grunted. "If we were actually going out, of course."

“Or a pet.” Necromancer said simply, looking ahead, though he was smirking a little.
Criss blushed deeply at this, “y-yeah. This would be a nice place for a date.” She couldn’t help but notice how her heart skipped a few beats at the thought of a date.

Mercurius sniffed at that before snickering a little. "I mean, I could definitely still do things for you as a pet~" Or moreso Necromancer could do things to him as a "pet."
Fatid didn't notice her blush, as he was looking somewhere else. He had a slight smile at the thought of a date though, but he tried not to let it show. "Come on, let's see what else there is before we have to head back."

“And why don’t you tell me what those things are, hm?” Necromancer told him, glancing down at him.
Criss nodded, “alright. Lead the way.” She said before finishing her fish.

Mercurius smirked a little. "Well, I think the details should wait until we're somewhere more... private."
Fatid finished his meal soon as well, thanking Criss for paying again before looking ahead. There was plenty to do, and Fatid said "This is a lot different than my home back at the swamp. Plenty more folk, for starters."

Necromancer smirked before saying, “well I guess at the best spot we stay I’ll have to get us connecting rooms.” He then looked ahead again at the first as the Electrex took his victory.
”I’m glad you decided to come.” Criss said, “I’d be majorly third wheeling if you didn’t.” She said, cracking a small smile.

Mercurius' tail twitched a little at that before looking as the fight ended. He smiled as other cheered for them, saying "We still need to find time for that match of ours too."
Fatid nodded a little. "We can third wheel together again. Better than doing so alone, hm?"

Necro motioned for Mercurius to follow as the two monsters were led away by stand by medics. “On non business hours though.” he said simply.
Criss nodded, giggling a little, “we are the best third wheels out there after all. No one can stop us when we’re teamed up.” She joked.

Mercurius nodded in agreement as he followed. "Of course." He looked around at the others that were sparring or talking. There were even a few humans watching the fights, unowned ones by the looks of it.
Fatid laughed a little at that. "This is true. Hopefully we won't stay third wheels forever. I'm sure you will find someone, and Cally is probably going to go off on her own adventures a lot when she's more experienced. So that means Remiel will follow her as well."

Necromancer entered the part of the building where monsters were preparing for and cooling down from fights. “This is more like it.” Necro told Mercurius.
“And what about you? You never seem to talk about yourself. Will you not be going with Cally? You did swear to be her guide. Like a partner in crime. She’s sure miss you.” Criss said. She then added, “though I think I’d miss you more if you left here.”

Mercurius nodded in agreement, looking around at the fighters curiously. There were plenty of potential monsters, but most of them were other elements from the looks of it (you could almost always tell based on looks.)
Fatid shrugged. "I did, but I doubt she'd want to keep me around forever or something. People usually don't, so props to our little group for actually tolerating me."

Necromancer looked as monsters quickly noticed them and quiet mourners began to ripple around the room along with the friendly chatter. Necromancer pair to mind to it he continued to take a few monsters into consideration.
Criss laughed a little, “your welcome. But it isn’t really all to hard.” She told him, crossing her arms.

Mercurius looked around as he asked Necro "See anyone interesting?" There were all kinds of fighters there.
Fatid smiled slightly at that. "Thank you," he said. He then looked over toward some particularly lively noise, a huge crowd watching a monster do some magic tricks.

Necro nodded, “I’m still hoping for a few dark elementals.” Necro said as he continued to look around, “but if not then I have a few monsters in mind.” Like maybe one of the monsters he saw fighting a few moments ago, if it came down to it they were good fighters at least.
Criss looked to the group curiously as they approached it, watching on with the rest of the crowd.

Mercurius nodded, saying "I'm sure there are probably some around here. If not maybe you can ask those two fighting earlier. They seemed to be alright."
The monster performing was an owl. Six feet or so, with light gold feathers and brown face rims. Dressed in a nice tux and everything with holes in the back got his wings, telling a story as he used various spells to dazzle the crowd.

"Yes, they did." Necromancer said, "I should definitely take them into consideration." after a while of looking Necromancer stopped, seeing two dark element monsters, both of the same breed.
Criss took Fatid's hand as she pulled him to a place where they could get a good view of the monster.

Mercurius looked around when Necro stopped, tilting his head upon noticing the other two monsters.
Fatid smiled slightly at the hand-holding, but tried to put his focus back on the owl. The avian monster sure knew how to dazzle the crowd, using all types of colorful swirls as well as other tricks and spells, switching things around and producing object out of seemingly nowhere.

((Sorry idk why I didn’t see this!
They were two dark monsters. Almost identical to one another. They were big too. Necromancer approached them quickly, introducing himself and Mercurius.
Criss’ jaw dropped just a little as she watched. She then squeezed Fatid’s hand saying, “this is really cool.” She smiled a little to him before realizing she was still holding his hand and let go with a blush.

(It's okay X3)
Mercurius greeted them, saying "Sorry if we're intruding on anything. We're just taking a look around here for some possible help."
Fatid nodded in agreement before noticing they were holding hands. When she let go, he blinked once before looking at her. He smiled slightly, saying "Yeah, really cool." He looked back to the owl as he used his powers to tell a story, the swirls forming colorful shapes of characters that moved about the crowd. Such acute control was actually very difficult to do with the raw energy of the magic element.

One of the monsters looked to them, Boeing his head respectfully upon recognizing Necromancer. He then shook his head, “oh no, it’s no problem. To what do we have this honor of your approaching us?” He asked.
“I wish I could do that.” Criss continued quietly. “Just to show off a little.” She joked.

Mercurius then said "We are trying to gather a group before rallying an army. I'm not sure if you've heard, but the False Warmaster has declared war again."
Fatid thought for a moment. "I'm sure you could learn to with practice. You technically can, in theory. You do have the Magic element after all."

The other spoke up saying, “yes we’ve heard just recently. But I thought I was just rumor...”
Necromancer shook his head, “I wish they were. That is why I’m here. To recruit.”
The monsters nodded, “so you want to recruit us.” He finished.
Criss’ gaze brightened a little, “and I don’t think this performer will be going anywhere... he could teach me!”
