Monster Legends: Ragnarok's Reign {NEEDS MEMBERS!!!!!}

Mercurius nodded, saying "We might need to travel a bit for some muscle. There are some fighters here, but I don't think we'll find any of the heavy hitters."


Remiel shrugged. "Well, we have master healers here anyway, a few on standby. Monsters need to be able to really exercise their power, or else they will die for sure in a real fight if they come across someone who has."

Mercurius scoffed playfully. "Why look further when you have these guns?" He flexed his muscles, grinning to himself at his oh-so impressive physique. He was definitely fit, but not exactly a heavy hitter they needed.


Remiel smiled gently at Cally before looking over. People were gathering around as someone walked into view. Virtue, one of the four Zodiac monsters and who humans based all of their Earth Signs off of. Big, bulky guy with massive horns, cape swishing behind him. His presence drew out some of the humans, who walked up to him and greeted him happily.

Mercurius laughed along with Necro, smiling as he said "I know, right? I'll take on any monster out there!" He posed heroically on top of his stool, ignoring the looks he got.


Remiel hummed, saying "He's the favorite of humans out of the Zodiac monsters, probably because he used to be one of their chief protectors. Super nice. There's something off about him though." Fatid snorted, saying "Or he could just be really nice." The angel grumbled "No one's that nice all the time!"

Necromancer raised an eyebrow, “really now?” He asked, “anyone you say?” He looked to him challengingly.

“He’s probably just being polite. Being friendly to others when you’re out in public is usually what people and monsters should be doing.” Cally said simply, “but I trust you if you think something is off. He’s probably just not as happy as he lets on.”

Necromancer had an amused look on his face as he leaned his elbow on the table, “so you wouldn’t back down from a challenge from me?” He said, “you did say you could take on any monster.. right?”

Calmly smiled a little, “hello. I’m Caroline.” She said, “but you can call me Cally if you’d like.”

Necromancer shrugged, giving Mercurius a mischievous look still, “sure. Why not?” He said simply, “or whenever you see fit. I’d like to see what you got.”

Cally looked good Remiel, “so it should mean something that he’s over here with us.” She looked back to Virtue, “I’ve heard many stories about you. All good of course.”

“You’re on... but not now. Not until I make sure I have all the possible recruits that I will see fit to be in my court.” Necromancer said.

Cally nodded, “I’ve been told about them too. I’m glad you’re out here making appearances though. It’s good.” She said happily.

Necromancer laughed again before saying, “I was going to say. You sound like a hypocrite since you asked for a job to get close to me.”

Cally blushed at this, smiling softly up at him. She then looked back to Remiel, raising an eyebrow. He hadn’t made many moves yet, so why should she be tethered to him right now? She wouldn’t actually pursue Virtue.. yet at least. Her heart was still Remiel’s.

Necromancer laughed again, “you know. I don’t think I’ve laughed this much in a long time.” He said, “it’s nice.”

Cally looked back at Remiel before saying, “he’s just being possessive.” She said softly, “I kind of like it though if that’s alright to say. It was really nice meeting you. We definitely should try to cross paths again.” She said. Once he left, Cally looked back to Remiel and the group. Criss went off to the side a little, not wanting to get in the way .

Necromancer nodded, “it definitely will. I’m glad I appointed you as my assistant. Even if you did just want to have it at first to get into bed with me.” He looked to him with a knowing look.

Cally shrugged, “I know. But it’s not every day you get to say you slept with a monster like him. Though I do know one monster I’d want more..”

Necromancer raised an eyebrow saying, “I wasn’t born yesterday, fox.” He said before smirking, “but if I were to want to return the favor for everything you’ve done for you, you wouldn’t object.. would you?” He said, eyeing him.

Criss nodded in agreement, “yes, alcohol sounds good right about now.” She said before nudging Fatid, “though I’m not sure we really want Cally drunk right now.” She said quietly.

Necromancer smirked a little, “I think you know what it means~ I’ll leave it up for interpretation~” he said simply before finishing off his drink. “You do deserve a treat after helping me out so much...”

Criss nodded, “alright. I still think I want to go out though if anyone wants to join me for some fun.”

Necromancer gave Mercurius one last look before looking to the monster saying, “show us what you got.” They didn’t have to do the introduction part.


Criss nodded, “it’ll also just be nice to have fun just the two of us. Less attention on Remiel and we don’t need to worry about Cally getting kidnapped or anything.” She said as she began to walk to find a bar.

“Have you worked with anyone before. If so who?” Necromancer asked, wanting to know if he could be trusted. “Also, do you have your bow and arrows with you now?”

Cally gently held Remiel’s hand, kissing the back of it as if to tell him she was still loyal to him. Criss eventually found a bar and held the door open for Fatid. Once inside she offered to pay for drinks at the bar.
