Mercurius wiggled his eyebrows. "Ooh, does this mean you're my master~?" The other Warmasters snickered at Necromancer. Babari snickered "Companion. Sure."
Remiel and Fatid let them lead the way, staying a ways behind with Criss while they followed.

Necromancer scoffed, but he didn’t deny anything. Mercurius would certainly beat the usual company he had down in his basement. He gave the small monster a small amused growl.

Mercurius snickered, and Thalassa said "Anyway, if there are any other thought we have outside of the meeting, we can just send word to each other. We can meet up like this in a month again, right now we need to focus on gathering numbers."

“Yes. That’s sounds like a good plan.” Necromancer said. “Mercurius will also be sending out word for recruitment.” He said, not giving the fox much of a choice.

Eventually they reached Cally’s house. There Jennifer sat them down and Cally looked to Remiel to help her explain.

Mercurius puffed out his little chest. "Ah, the fastest messenger in the world! Good choice!" He posed heroically, and Babari snorted with laughter.
Remiel sighed. Looking to Jennifer, he asked "You've heard of Ragnarok, right?" Even humans knew of the more famous creatures, and plenty of fabled ones.

Necromancer laughed as well, an amused look on his face. “Yes, good choice in deed.” He said. He then looked up at the others with a small smile and an eye roll.
Jennifer nodded, “yes I am familiar...” She said, “go on..”

Thalassa smiled a little, saying "Alright, we can split up now then and get started. Things are about to get much busier." The others nodded in agreement.
Remiel sighed. "Well, he's looking to start another war again. And humans have no chance of anything really if they come across the wrong monsters. There is a rebel group that has a haven for both monsters and humans. Staying in cities or villages isn't the best ideas for humans now. A friend of mine has extended the offer of the haven to Cally and her family."

“Yes. We’ll go.” Jennifer said right away. “Once my husband comes home from his hunt we’ll go. I’ve heard about the war, but I didn’t think I was real...” she said softly.
Necromancer nodded as well, “it’s best we get started now.” He agreed.

Remiel hummed. "Oh, it was real. Just long before you were born. Hundreds of years ago." And humans were plentiful. Millions of them and then some, but the problem was they had no defenses or powers. And Ragnarok took advantage of that. "That is why it would be best to go to the haven."
Babari nodded. "Let's go then. The sooner we're ready, the better."

“I see.. and all this time I was told it was a myth..” she looked to Colby before looking back towards the monsters, “please make yourselves at home. I’m just going to pack a few things for my family and I.”
Necromancer looked to Mercurius, giving him the silent signal to follow close behind.

Remiel nodded a little. "Most just wanted to sweep it under the rug. You and your family will be safe at the haven though, and can even do jobs in moderation. Just... no hunting any monsters at the camp."
Mercurius smiled brightly, trotting after Necromancer. Ooh, this was so exciting!! Well, not that he wanted to go to war or anything.

Jennifer frowned a little, “..As long as my husband and I can still provide for our family then.. yes I will to that.” She decided. Calmly smiled a little in relief.
Necromancer split up from the group and began to walk towards where his post would be for the announcements.

Remiel hummed in acknowledgement. Now they had to wait for the father to get home so everything could be explained.
Mercurius stayed with Necromancer as the others began to announce what was going on. There was a lot of work to be done now.

Once Jennifer and Colby left, Cally looked to the group, “do you it’s want anything to drink or eat?” She asked.
Necromancer sighed quietly, looking to be on thought. Maybe he really did need a group of his own to help look out for him.. even though he had always been a loner, and had been able to handle himself fine...

Remiel and Fatid both politely declined, and Fatid looked to Criss to see if she did or not.
Mercurius glanced at Necromancer, but decided not to talk to him upon seeing him thinking. He then looked as the announcements finished up and people began to file out and go their own way.

Criss shook her head, “no. Thank you though.” She then looked around a little, “nice place. It’s quaint.”
Necromancer looked to Mercurius, “continue to spread the word towards the other end of town. I’ll be waiting for you back around here.” He said.

Fatid nodded in agreement. Remiel then said "Who knows, maybe it'll still be here a ways into the war, if not the entire duration." It would probably be okay for Cally and her family to stay, but they never knew.
Mercurius nodded. "Alright, I'll be back soon." He then dashed off, Babari walking up to Necromancer. "Are you going to consider forming a group of your own after this meeting we had?"

“Hopefully you’re right.” Maya said with a small smile, “I would hate to see it go...” Criss turned to join the others again, not wanting to snoop around too much. Cally titled her head a little, “where did you guys live when you were younger?”
Necromancer huffed, “I’m thinking about it. Though I wouldn’t even know where to start. Especially in a time like this.” He said.

Remiel smiled sheepishly. "Up beyond the clouds with the other angels, though I did make visits to my human father. Stayed with him for periods of time." Fatid then said "I lived in a swamp for most of my life until I had to leave because of pollution."
Babari sighed. "You'll have to travel a lot now. Like, a lot more. No more basement time as a regular. And as you travel, you're bound to meet possible assets and allies. I don't see why not."

Criss didnt feel the need to answer the question, as she assumed they could guess on their own. Cally looked to Fatid saying, "im sorry to hear that. Maybe we can find you a new swamp. A clean one."
Necromancer nodded, "I will keep on the lookout though." He then looked in the direction Mercurius left, "and.. what do you think im my first recruit. Though he honestly is more of a pet or assistant than recruit, since I didnt actually want him at my side at first."

Fatid shrugged. "Maybe. I wouldn't mind that. I currently don't even have an actual home so." He liked the idea of somewhere new before saying "This would be after traveling with you for a while of course."
Babari shrugged. "I find him a little annoying, but I suppose he's not bad. It's just a little funny for your first recruit to be a Lightning wielder, though Mercurius is said to be the fastest monster, so it's not a completely odd play. Just... keep yourself on the market for a while longer."

“And when you do find anew swamp I’ll be sure to visit. You’re not getting rid of me that easily.” Cally said with a small smile.
Necromancer shrugged, “hey, he volunteered to stick by my side himself. He wouldn’t have been my choice if he hadn’t. And also, I’m not planning on screwing him if that’s what you’re thinking. I’m not looking for a mate just yet either.”

Fatid smiled slightly before looking around. "So, is it just you 0arents and little brother here or?"
Babari snorted. "I'm just saying not to get desparate. There are plenty of better options." He then looked around. "Anyway, we should split up soon. Begin our planning."

Cally nodded, "yep. Just the four of us." she said, "my parents could afford all of this once they were able to take on some better paying, and much more dangerous jobs. They make a very good team." She said, "What about you guys? Do you have any siblings?"
Necromancer raised an eyebrow, "What? Do you want to bang or something?" He asked teasingly, "Is that why you want me to stay single." He then laughed, "Im joking."

Fatid shook his head, and Remiel said "Counting both living and dead, I apparently have about six hundred half brothers and sisters." Fatid scoffed at that, saying "Your mother got around a lot." Remiel shrugged, saying "My mother is older than me."
Babari arched a brow. "Men aren't of my taste anyway, thank you. I just don't take you for the guy to like annoying little foxes who are over two feet shorter than you."

Criss raised an eyebrow, "doesn't your mother have to be older than you? It wouldn't make sense for her to be your age or younger." She said.
Necromancer huffed, "again, never said I liked him." He told Babari, "And also like I said, I'm joking. I know full well how much you like women." He teased.

Remiel shrugged. "Fatid made it sound like an ancient creature who ages quite well wouldn't have a collection of kids under her belt."
Babari scoffed. "I'm gonna get going. Take care of yourself." He nodded once before turning to leave.

“Still having almost seven hundred kids is a little crazy, though I’m sure she knew what she was doing and what she was able to endure.” Cally said, “just letting you know, if we even get there to begin with, I am not having a huge amount of kids with you. My human body would literally be destroyed if I did.”
“You too.” Necromancer said as he left. He then huffed, rubbing the back of his neck as he went back to thinking about the war once more.

Remiel laughed. "Almost seven hundred is nothing to her, especially with her age." He then tilted his head with a small smile. "Glad you've thought of me that way, but my mother really liked her mates. And she's had a lot over the centuries."
