Nim was silent for a while. "... I wouldn't be able to do much for you in return..." He sounded like he was considering though, but still unsure. "But, we have somewhere to be now." Maybe if Dakota was actually serious, something could happen after they finished their little trip.

Uma fluffed up her feathers, “why were you watching us? What do you know?”

Nim shivered slightly at that, ears flattening in embarrassment soon after. "Um, yes let's get going. The Sunfyres are close. Then we'll have to port to the other locations due to distance." It had been some time since he had been to Crown's Way, the capitol.
The rabbit held up his forepaws. "I don't know anything! Well, nothing important..." He smiled sheepishly.

Dakota nodded before just looking ahead quietly. He sighed in thought as they neared their destination.
Uma growled, “tell me what you know.” She demanded.

Nim looked as they eventually reached the capitol. The guards blinked before immediately letting them in.
The rabbit yelped. "I'm just supposed to watch to see if you guys came around! To relay the news to him!"

Dakota watched the guards for a moment before looking ahead again with a nod.

The guards led them to the castle, one of them running ahead to alert the king and queen.
The rabbit held up his paws. "I don't know, he never gave me a name! He was a bear though, wearing Landar armor, but he wasn't a Landar I don't think."

The rabbit shook his head. "I don't know, he disappeared in smoke after we talked, outside my den about ten minutes from the capitol. Isn't he one of you if he has magic or whatever?"

Nim looked as the royals entered the throne room, Alma watching with wide eyes at the two animals before looking to Roman a little worriedly. Nim sighed, saying "Surely you'd hear of it soon, but we have urgent news."
The rabbit looked sheepish. "I don't! I just assumed he'd know or something and meet me at the den! I swear!"

Dakota stated quiet, knowing Roman would recognize his voice. Roman tilted his heads, “continue.” He said calmly, glancing at Alma reassuringly.
“If you see him tell him we know who he really is and that he should just confront us instead of hiding like a coward!” Uma said.

Nim opened his mouth to speak, but paused for a moment, ears swiveling. "The Mother's Flute. It's broken." Alma arched a brow at that, looking confused as she asked "Why would someone break it? Don't they know what'll happen?" Nim nodded a little, saying "Yes, that's why the Godsbow is broken too."
The rabbit sniffed, turning to scamper off. "Times are changing, Godbeast. And not even you can change it." And with that, he was gone.

Dakota looked to Nim in realization, “we’re going to be too late...” he looked to Nim, “can you connect to the other leaders’ minds, give them a wanting from here. We have to protect at least one artifact.” He said. Roman has already signaled guards over and were assigning them to guard the doors to the room keeping the crown.
Uma flew as quickly as she could towards the kingdom, hoping she wasn’t too late.

Nim was already on it, creating a little network to appear to the other leaders and warn them of what's happening. It took some time, and he eventually finished. Sighing, he said "We can really only hope to outsmart him."

Uma soon entered and Dakota filled her in. Roman looked to Alma, “I’m going to help them fight.” He decided before getting up, “I’ll lead you to the crown.”

Alma looked worried, saying sheepishly "I could help too, you know." Nim hummed, saying "I don't believe all the Artifacts will be broken in one night. He probably just started with two to scare everyone. He's not so stupid as to try and break all five so soon." He looked around. "Still, more guards should be posted, as I alerted the others."

Roman looked to Alma worriedly, “I don’t want you to get hurt..” He then looked Nim, “I will still keep a very close eye on it, and I will assign more men to guard the room. You three may stay here for a while if you’d like.”

He May have.. Roman has always been good about keeping things to himself, so he may just be biting his tongue. Dakota said while looking to the king as he led his queen and the others down the hall, I will hurtle that jump if the time comes though. He was bound to find out eventually. Just like his father did.

I told him. But I made him swear and oath to never tell anyone. And it’s what I will do with Roman. When I know he’s ready of course. Dakota then sighed, don't worry. I only told him about myself.
