I've read tons of good books, but most - if not all - of them are LGBT so idk if you'd be interested. Uhh, the "Alcatraz vs" Series is good and simple and funny if you don't want anything super serious. Six of Crows is pretty good, but I haven't finished it. Everybody's read The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, I think, but just in case I mentioned it. Uhm, otherwise, yeah idk unless you want to read about boys falling in love.

I actually don't think I've read Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, I did see the movie when I was half-passed out on the band bus though but that probably doesn't count. I'd be interested in some LGBT books, actually. I'm generally not a fan of romance in general but if the overall plot is good then I'd probably like to read it. I'll check out the other ones you've suggested as well.

Hitchhiker's Guide is good, just long and confusing if you let your mind wander. One second, it'll be talking about planes, and the next, there's a gigantic moth receptionist that's very angry at life.
Ahh, this'll be difficult because a lot of the LGBT books I read are generally centered around romance. Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe is based around coming of age, but romance is a pretty big part of it. The All For The Game Trilogy can only be bought on kindle or bought through Amazon and it has a lot of very sensitive subjects, but it's my absolute favorite and is about a boy that's basically running from mafia but gets recruited by a university team for a fictional sport and stuff happens. Again, you might want to find the list of warnings about that trilogy, so I wouldn't recommend it if you're sensitive to certain graphic topics. Umm, I'm currently reading The Raven Cycle Series which isn't entirely centered around romance, but romance is still a large part of it considering one of the first lines involves "If she kisses her true love, he'll die" but it's about psychics and Welsh kings and the afterlife and magic so if that interests you, go for it. The summary doesn't really give you much to go by, but it is really good once you get passed the first book.
That's really all I've got that I've read. I've heard The Secret History is good, but I haven't checked it out yet. Otherwise, I have nothing else to give you, sorry. You can probably find some relatively good book recs on tumblr or smth. Seriously, don't trust my judgement.

Haha, alright. I'm going to go to bed now (it's something like 10PM where I am and I'm trying to fix my sleep schedule in time for school,) so I'll maybe talk to you tomorrow? Goodnight!

I can't fix my sleep schedule because jetlag is going to suck in two days anyway, lol. Goodnight, though! I'll try to be online, but no promises.

Uhh all I remember is we're going to a four-star hotel, we're seeing Chicago on Broadway, we're going to the Empire State Building, and we're seeing Niagara Falls. No, I will not ask for the 600th floor at the Empire State Building.

That sounds fun! I'd sort of like to go to New York at some point in my life but at the same time I hate planes so I'm not sure how much travelling I'll be doing.
When does school start back up again for you? (Or are you homeschooled? I remember some people were homeschooled though I don't remember who.)

Ehh I don't like New York all that much. Not that I've been, but it's just not my thing.
Stream's homeschooled. School starts September 6 for me, so I'll be spending my last week of freedom trying to deal with 3-hour jetlag. Actually, the jetlag might help because then I'll actually go to bed at midnight rather than 4 am...

We start school on the same day! Technically it's a half-day for me but it's sort of the same thing. Let's hope the jetlag helps, then.

I'm pretty sure it's a half day for me too, haha. It's still school though.
Sorry, I've been writing all day, but I just finished the chapter and I'm updating my fanfic now so I hope I have more time! I do have some other writing things to do though, so idk.

Ah I'm so jealous, I was supposed to write more today but only got, umm, 216 words out. I got caught up watching a very potter senior year because I haven't watched it before today.

I need to rewatch a Very Potter Musical, but instead I'm on a language learning website trying to learn three languages at once. It's probably not a very good idea to do that, but whatever. I have like, three more things to write, unfortunately.

Three languages at once miiight not be the best method of learning languages. Out of curiosity, what are you learning?
Well it turns out that when I'm motivated I can crank out 681 words in 40 minutes? Alright?

German, Welsh, and Norwegian. I would be learning Tagalog and Japanese (well, I already know some Japanese. I'm a Japanese year two going on three student) but the website doesn't have those. German is kind of killer on my throat.
Nice. Tbh I don't know how much I type in that time. I wrote like, eight pages from around 4:30 to 7 if that means anything?

Ooh, nice! Yeah, I can see German being rough on the throat. I tried to learn Japanese once, it didn't go all that well. I don't have enough motivation. My grandma taught me how to count to ten but I only really remember up to six, and I know some assorted words that are food items but that's it. Eight pages is pretty impressive. I've only got twelve pages over twenty days, because I keep getting distracted and do something else. I'd write more today but I'm going kayaking with my grandpa and brother, so obviously I can't write then.

Yeah Japanese is hard to learn if you're not forced to by school, especially since there's three alphabets and kanji is like, the worst thing next to grammar points. And then there's also culture to learn and stuff like that and it's all just very complicated because you don't say "I love you" unless you really love someone and you've been in a committed relationship for a long time. (Japanese really isn't straightforward) Buut anyway
I can only really write if I set a deadline for myself. On average, my chapters are usually around ten pages long and I can usually finish them within a day if I realize "oh yeah I meant to finish this tomorrow" and then I end up rushing myself. Probably not the best idea.

I only got partway through remembering one of the alphabets (hirigana I think? Something like that?) before I thought about it and decided that a: I'm probably never going to Japan, b: most of my Japanese relatives speak English, and the ones who don't I've never met and likely never will, and c: I don't even watch anime or anything so I have no reason to learn it aside from a bit of "interesting things to learn about my mom's side of the family!" even though my grandparents were born and raised here so there's really no point by now. My school teaches quite a few languages (French, Spanish, Italian, Mandarin, and Arabic are the only ones I can remember off the top of my head) but they don't teach Japanese.
I can only write if I'm motivated in a competition, example "oh this person wrote this many words today, I'm going to write twice as much as they did and then I get a lot more out. It's better than NaNoWriMo at least because I'm not trying to shove in 2000 words of nothing in particular a day.

Hey! I'm in New York right now, but not exactly sure where. We left the city and we're two hours away from Niagara Falls.
NYC was loud and we were right by Times Square, so it was certainly an experience. I survived by just going with the crowd and keeping my things close. We saw Chicago on Broadway and went up the Empire State Building and turns out we had family nearby, so we had them hang around for a while too. Also turns out I have yet another niece and nephew. (as someone who despises children, I found that my niece was an attention-seeking brat, but my nephew was pretty okay when he wasn't crying and screaming)
Uhhh yeah I can't really remember everything we did, but it was a lot of walking and my feet hurt a lot of the time, but it was nice. I guess. I just want to go home and hug my dog now though.
Anyway, yeah that's all I really wanted to say.

I'M ALIVE
About Japanese, it's hiragana, and it's the first alphabet everybody learns. It's the easiest. I started learning Japanese because I was an anime nerd, but then I continued because college credits. My class only offers Japanese, French, and Spanish, and I just can't do the accents nor do I want to take the easy way out. Apparently my Japanese class is a little more advanced than some others, so I also like to take that opportunity to gloat.

MMMMKAY. I'MMA BACK. Sorry I've been dead for, like, two weeks; I am forgetful and lazy, and that is not a good combination. :/
Did someone say Japanese?! XDD I'm hoping to learn Japanese so I can get into college and so I can understand Japanese video games without looking for a translator. (best reason ever, am I right? lel) I know a few words, and a few characters, and some of the honorifics, but that's kinda it. ^^' I wrote down all of the hiragana characters, though, so I can use that to try to pronounce names of Japanese Splatoon players while waiting for the matches to start. ,XD
Wow, I talk a lot on the Internet. O__O'
...Also, do you guys watch Let's Play videos on YouTube? ://>

Ahh I'm going into third year Japanese. You might want to take at least three years for good colleges, but I think I might know a little more than you because my teacher is a lot more practical in his teaching and teaches us kanji first year rather than second/third year. Japanese is hard though, so it takes soooo long (like possibly ten years) to actually become pretty fluent. As is, I only know a few basic phrases and I've been taking Japanese for two years. Plus kanji is horrible and the devil. But yeah, the only reason I started taking Japanese was so I could understand stuff.
The entirety of my Let's Play watching on yt is NicoB and DanAndPhilGames with some Markiplier thrown in there.

Well, you definitely know more than I do! I don't actually take lessons or have a teacher yet; I've just seen a few things on the Internet. ^^'' I'm not actually sure if I'll ever have a teacher, because my mom is unwilling to get Japanese school books since she doesn't know anything about the language, and also because there's no Japanese teachers at our homeschool co-op. Maybe I'll try to take online lessons, I dunno. Ten years sounds rough, but I'm determined! Or, I will be determined. XD
I like watching Game Grumps and NintendoCapriSun. They are my senpais, and I want to be like them. (Minus the not-kid-friendly language.) XD

Ah, well, sometimes the internet can be helpful with overall phrases. If you ever do get around to really learning the language, or if you ever want to go to Japan, I suggest also learning the culture. They are very different from us and it's kind of offensive to them if you don't follow their customs. I could help, but only up til third year probably. After next year, I'm not going to continue my classes. I'm just doing it for the credits and how it'll look in college.
Haha, I don't really know them. I don't watch much gameplays unless there's a game I'm interested in. (Which are usually anime games, tbh. Speaking of which, I need to watch a playthrough of Dangan Ronpa 3)

I don't think I'll ever go to Japan, haha. It's sort of far away, and I'm also kind of not fond of planes. ^^'' But learning the culture'd probably be useful anyway, in case I'm confused at what a video game character says. XD Or if I ever meet a Japanese person. Also, thanks for the offer to help! If I get stuck or something, I might just ask you. ^^
The Game Grumps play pretty much everything. XD Not sure about anime games, though. And what's this about Danganronpa 3? Is it out already?! >(030)< Welp, gonna go check YouTube! (man it feels good to actually be able to say "YouTube" on Warriors cats forums :>)

Yeah, I'm not too fond of planes either. The ones with the screens on the seats are cool, but I dislike turbulence. Japan wouldn't really be my thing anyway.
Yup! I saw NicoB playing it and I have to start watching it when I have time. I knew the anime was out, but not the game. (About YouTube, I'm just so used to saying yt that I just keep doing that lol)

sorry, I really have no excuse for not replying for a while
I hate planes as well (I've had a few bad experiences on them) but I'll have to get used to it because I'm going to Disneyland as a part of my band trip this year! Which is something like a three-hour plane ride, I think? Maybe less, because I remember Florida being four hours, and that's a lot longer.
I used to love Danganronpa back in the day. (I think I watched a playthough of two of the games and I read the English transcript of the "ultra despair girls.") It's been so long, though, but I really like the concept of the whole thing!

Eh, not too bad. My flight from New York was five hours long. It sucked, and I played the same 28 songs over and over again. At least the plane wasn't cramped, but there was a lot of turbulence and I was scared for like half the ride. It made me read my book slower.

My mode for surviving travelling is to shut down and try to sleep, or else stare blankly off into the distance and try to distract myself. It worked on the ten-hour bus ride I did once in eighth grade. I can never read in cars (not too sure about planes, I've been too scared to try) and I pretty much never listen to music. so there's really nothing else for me to do. I hate turbulence so much, too. I got so scared on a plane ride once that I ended up throwing up a lot, which was awful for everyone around me I'm sure.
