(lol you're all good c: )
Adelaide was rather impressed with how fast he was able to scale the tree. If she hadn't of known this was his first time climbing one then she would've thought he'd been climbing trees his whole life. She noticed the first apricot fall and easily caught it, gently placing it into the basket before getting ready to catch more. "I like to read about the other regions, and history. I also find reading about the stars rather fascinating but there aren't many works about them." She tells him, watching carefully every time the tree swayed a little, almost starting to get nervous for him.

"You could probably find more books about stars around the shelves of old religions and sorcery, but can't say they'd be any kind of scientific astronomy... Have you read anything in there about Suneida or the lands along the Southern coasts?" Bulent asked. When there weren't any more ripe-looking apricots that he could reach he started to climb down. Feeling more confident he kept stepping down the branches even if the tree swayed, but his foot slipped from the last branch and he slid down the trunk. Bulent landed on his feet initially but then fell backwards, catching himself on his elbows.

"I probably could, but you're right it they might not be. And yes, I have!" Adelaide watched as he began to climb back down, and she herself hovered close around the trunk of the tree just in case. Though, even if he did fall it's not like she was going to be able to totally catch him, she's not strong enough for that. "Those have been some of my favorite reads so far, and-" She cuts herself off as his foot slips and he begins to slid down the tree. "Bulent!" Adelaide exclaimed, voice filled with worry as she reached her arms up, trying to keep him from completely falling, but ends up collapsing herself as he falls backwards, essentially breaking his fall.

Bulent sat up and got off of her quickly. "Why did you do that?" He asked. "Did I hurt you?" He looked Adelaide over worriedly.

Adelaide grunts and sits up a bit, propping herself up on her elbows and offering a small smile as she looks at him. "No, no you didn't hurt me." She sits all the way up and starts to inspect him. "And...I don't know, I didn't want you to get hurt."

"But I probably weight twice as much as you do, what good would it be if both of us got hurt?" Bulent said, getting up and holding a hand out to her.

She chuckles softly and grips his hand when he holds it out to her, pulling herself up with his help. "Bulent, it's fine, really. I promise." Adelaide tries to reassure him, though her shoulders and lower back had started to ache a little, but she'd never admit it to him. "Are you alright? You didn't hurt your hands or anything, did you?"

"No, everything's fine." Bulent tried to dust some of the dirt and soil off of his sleeves. "Thank you..." He said, feeling sore but not willing to admit it either. "So is that enough apricots you think?" He asked, gesturing to the basket.

Adelaide looks a little confused by his thanks but just nods response, glancing at the basket now and seeing the bundle of apricots they had. "Looks like enough to me." She turns back to him and smiles, slowly reaching out now to brush off some soil he had missed around his shoulder. "I shouldn't have made you climb the tree..."

"Well there's nothing we can do about that now." Bulent shrugged, clearly not bothered by it. "Maybe we should go inside and get cleaned up or something before someone sees us both a mess." he noticed her brush some of the soil off his shoulder and seemed a bit surprised by her gesture but didn't say anything. He picked up the basket filled with weeds and one of the empty ones they hadn't used.

Adelaide nods then smiles gently, picking up the basket with the fruits and vegetable in it. "I can't even imagine what the queen would say if she found out about you not only climbing a tree but falling from one." She said with with a gentle chuckle, starting to walk back towards the palace. "But I had more fun than I probably normally would've if I had just gone out here by myself."

βMaybe if we just avoid the main hallways. Where are we supposed to put the basket full of pulled weeds? Do you use them for anything?β Bulent walked to the gate of the garden, trying to ignore the aching in one leg from how he landed. βI had fun too... Now you can go rest and have that break in the library.β

Adelaide followed closely beside him, unlatching the gate once they got close enough. βYou can just leave it by the door, one of the other servants will come by later and deal with it.β She told him, having noticed the odd way he was walking. βBulent, youβre limping. Are you sure youβre fine?β She asked, expression and tone filled with concern.

βJust a bit sore.β Bulent slowed down to let her go first up the path back to the outer door of the servantsβ quarters. He dropped the basket against the wall then opened the door for her, smiling to her despite her concerned expression.

Adelaide didnβt look convinced, despite his reassuring smile. She sighs and nods anyways, stepping inside and then turning around to wait for him. βIs it your ankle? Or your whole leg?β She asked, not letting it go as she began to walk down the hall now. She was heading back towards the kitchen, but remembered to avoid any of the main halls.

"Just ankle." Bulent said, not wanting her to pry any more about it. He followed her down the hallways, looking down other halls that they passed cautiously in case anyone else was around. He stopped briefly with her at the kitchen. "Guess I'll go change into something more court-presentable and see what my mother needs." he took a couple of the apricots from the basket. (might change his name I'm not sure yet .-. hope that doesn't bother you)

Eylul walked up the steps of a large building that stood in the center of the capital's noble district. It had tall pillars and stood just a floor or two taller than the surrounding buildings. Walking through the shadows of the entrance doorway, which was slightly ajar as the guards opened and closed it repeatedly to let people in. Inside were large courtyards, gardens, and bathhouses towards the back, a frequent social spot for wealthier Meviahns. Eylul wore a simple white dress with long sleeves and intricate lace patterns that would only be noticed up close. She stepped out into the front courtyard area where a few other people were already sitting around small tables and playing cards or talking idly. Hawkeyes258 maybe a starter for Calix?) Calix notices Eylul and excuses himself from his companions before walking over to her. He was growing bored of the current conversation and had been eager to get away. "Hello there beautiful." He said smiling warmly at her. "How are you doing on this day?"

(I donβt mind, heβs your character lol. iβve been thinking about maybe changing Adelaideβs)
Adelaide still continued to give him a look, facing Bulent now as she grabbed a couple of peaches from the basket. βAlright...just make sure you elevate it and if you can, wrap it in a cold rag.β Still looking concerned, Adelaide did manage a smile and took a step backwards towards the kitchen door, still facing him. βYou should come out to the gardens again, maybe donβt fall out of a tree next time.β Adelaide teased, her smile growing.

(I feel like the name "Serhan" actually fits his character better than Serhan Karga but idk might go with a variant like Serkan, Serdar, Soner, Burhan, etc. idk which one do you like?)
Bulent avoided her look and gazed out the kitchen's window while waiting for her to finish, already not planning on taking her advice to rest. "You're too concerned, no one is going to know what happened and you're not going to get into any trouble for it," he said. "When I have some spare time, I will," he nodded.

Eylul saw Calix get up from the table, intending to walk over to her so she intentionally avoided his gaze and turned to a large vase of flowers by the corner. When he greeted her she turned to him reluctantly. "I'm doing fine," she replied, fidgeting with her hands nervously. Hawkeyes258

((Open to whoever whenever!))
Queen Beyza sat silently on her brilliant white limestone patio that overlooked the sea, with a heavy book open in her lap. She could hear vividly the waves thrashing against the steep white cliffs below. The long, dark blue dress she was wearing left her brown arms bare, much to the concern of one of the earlier servants that had tended to her and insisted she wear something warm over top. Beyza promptly declined; she'd much rather feel the cool sea breeze on her skin and in her bones the way she should. The way she did when she was young and healthy. The teapot on the table beside her ran cold and near empty, though the strong herbs inside of it filled the air with the scent of many rich spices.

Bulent left with the apricots after his final word to Adelaide. He briefly changed shirts in his room to a dark blue one and left the shirt he'd gotten dirt on from the garden at the bottom of his drawers. Finding a servant on his way past the dining halls he asked her where the queen was and was directed towards the patio. He walked to the entrance of the patio and stopped in the entrance way. "I hope I'm not interrupting anything..." He said to get the queen's attention.

"Lovely day is it not?" Calix asked though he took notice of her fidgeting fingers. Eylul always seemed so nervous though he never knew what. His father would often warn him to be wary around her. However, Calix figured she couldn't possibly be as dangerous as most people think.

Beyza took a few moments to finish her page before acknowledging her son's presence. "Not at all," she replied, though a bit coolly. She motioned towards the other chair on the table beside her, indicating the prince to sit down.

Bulent walked up to her and set the apricots down on the side-table next to the teapot. "Miss Adelaide said they're starting to come into season," he said, giving her a curt nod and standing for a hesitant moment before sitting down.

Beyza shut the large tome in her lap and eyed the basket. "I was never the biggest fan of apricots," she admitted. She plucked out a fruit from the basket and inspected it with narrowed eyes. The fruits seemed plump and in good color. "Though I suppose these seem quite well tended." She set the apricot back in the basket and nodded as thanks. "You've been tending just as well to your duties, I hope?"

"I thought you used to love dried apricots..." Bulent said, looking uncomfortable at her reaction. He looked down at the patio stones for a while. "Which duties would those be?" he asked, glancing up at her briefly before staring out across the sea.
