My ideas for Macaria’s interview outfit. I wasn’t sure what vibe I wanted to go for so the dress is quite intense but the hair is quite romantic. Whoever has her district as a stylist can change anything they want. |

(Robin is going to be sweet, but attempt to be a mean girl, so like the complete opposite? She wants to see her niece though.
Alessandro(oh I will get his up soon my friends) is going to be a cocky little son of a gun. I have an idea that one of his parents was a victor of games way earlier on, so he’s carrying on the legacy, or trying to.
Carlo will be a sweet, possibly homoromantic character who I’ll love, and hate myself for killing early on. I have this idea that he will try his best for Ireena and himself, and try to be her friend and so he ends up dying early on by being too nice.
Holly’s sarcastic, but has a lot of bite to her. She’s physically very weak in regards to many others, and is very tiny, but her speed, smarts and stealth are helpful. She’s an excellent thief, and has stolen from a few peacekeepers in the past when she was desperate(or bored). She’s like, a chaotic neutral?
Also thank you so much Pallas, that means a lot and was really sweet. I really like Amadrya and Burton. I absolutely hope we get to see more of Paige and Burton and just the good route for him in general :3.)

She glanced at him, gaze full of doubt and mistrust for a moment, “Now I know your crazy.” She deadpanned, before rolling her eyes. “I, unlike you, Mr. Acton, don’t exactly have anything to fight for? But I’m still going to fight, just to stick a piece of dynamite up the Capital’s ass and bug them like the pest I most certainly am.” She smirked at the thought. “Excuse my French.”
“I mean, have you seen the Career tributes? I think their shoulders will hurt by the time we’re in the arena from all their attempts to pat themselves on the back.” She snorted slightly, “Don’t get me wrong, they are incredibly strong, but most of them are complete airheads.”
Her face twisted at his suggestion, “I don’t mind lying or stealing and being morally grey, but sponsoring them in any way is a worse fate than dying.” She said drearily, “The only reason I’m going to do it, and mock my words Burton, is because I want you and I to have a good shot in those games and the Capital not tailing our every move. Don’t expect that the whole time from me.” She added, eyes narrowed, “I’ll steal the spotlight from the Careers by the time we’re called to the stage, but to see the look on their faces afterwards.” She smiled then, “I might not be as charismatic as you, but I know how to read people and play the cards to my favor.”
She faked a pout when he said he wouldn’t ask her about the weapons, but couldn’t hide her small smile, no matter how apathetic she pretended to be. She then grinned, “I can teach you some weapons, I’m not a master by any means, but I do know a little something about weapons.” She explained, “And you should try a spear or something, or maybe a katana, we could be like katana twins!” She joked.

When he asked about her plans, she bit her lip slightly for a moment, an action betraying an uncertainty she generally tried to avoid projecting to others. And especially in the Games, where weakness or uncertainty made you a target.
"I'm not sure, to be honest," she replied "I think I'm gonna maybe try and grab one or two things from the outside of the bloodbath and then run. After that I'm probably going to set myself up a base somewhere quiet in the Arena, away from the others if I can. I know we'll eventually be forced together, but I'm hoping by the time that happens there'll not be too many people left. If the Careers can take one another out relatively early on, that'd be great for me."
She paused for a moment as she thought about the second part of his question.
"For the Capitol, I don't really have a plan. I don't want to put any fake personality out there; I will absolutely not risk dying and being remembered as someone I'm not. Though, to be fair, I never thought I was the kind of person who'd volunteer for that little girl, so... Maybe I've been wrong about me all along. But, anyway, I guess I'll just be myself. WHat about you?" |

 - - - - - Carlo ValentineCarlo was an idiot, at least, he didn’t think he was. He was a kid, and he was a nice boy. He had tons of friends, mostly girls. Many guys, however, tended to stick away, mostly because they thought he was going to molest them or something.
He ignored them, because his girlfriends, in a platonically sense, stuck by him still, and he didn’t mind being an only child. His parents loved him, and so did his friends. He never molested any guys, and the few friends that were guys that he had understood he simply crushed on other guys.
He rolled his eyes as his mom did his tie, a grey blouse suit, and matching black pants with black shoes. “Mom, mom, mom...” he huffed again as she continued. Until she tightened it, and he choked out, “Mom Stop you’re going to kill me!”
“I’m just so nervous for you baby,” she whispered, pulling him into a hug.
He chuckled in response, kissing her cheek quickly, “Momma, stop stressing about me.”
He was tackle hugged by his father, and went out in chuckles. “Daddy, stop that!” He giggled as his father tickled him.
He soon headed off, his girlfriends picked him up and his guy friends and him all went towards the square. He winced as his finger was pricked, he didn’t tend to like needles, and separated from his friends, wishing them luck.
He sat in the square, attentive to the girls. He begged it wasn’t friend or someone he knew...
”Ireena Pivy!” The women at the stage called, and he recognized the name. He frowned, he didn’t know her that well, but he saw has heard her name before.
Next the males. He wondered who would be picked this year.
“Carlo Valentine!” The women called as she fished out the paper and read the name.
Carlo promptly cursed under his breath.

And when she said she didn't have anyone to fight for, his gaze dropped to the floor for a moment. He forgot that, even though she'd just told him. Why did he assume that she had something back home she wanted to get back to.
"Well, you just gotta give yourself something to live for, to fight for," he said, his voice taking on a hint of determination "like, for example, you can't annoy the Capitol anymore if you're dead."
At her words about the Careers, he laughed.
"Oh, I know. I haven't seen this year's selection but I'm sure they'll be just as dumb as last year. There's always the dumb one, the flirty one, the arrogant one, and there's generally some really eccentric one with way too much energy thrown in there too. But yet somehow they're trained warriors and I just can't fathom how such dumb people can absolutely destroy everyone in the Arena. I know they train their whole lives but it's still crazy."
At her next words about charming the Capitol, he held his arms up in mock surrender and chuckled
"Hey, you do your thing. I'm not gonna get in the way of something you're doing to help us. I trust you on this one, and I know you can make the Capitol love you."
He grinned at the idea of her training him in some weapons.
"Hey, that'd be great, thanks. And I know you were joking about the katana thing, but seriously we probably do need some branding or something."

She laughed back at him, “Well I changed my mind, you went from smart to a crazy man. Congratulations.” She bit back, before listening to his spiel about finding something to fight for. Her eyes widened as she looked down quickly, and cupping her hand ove her mouth. Before slowly removing them. A small frown marred her face for a moment.
Her mouth twitched back into a smile. She hadn’t smiled this much in probably years? “I just remembered, I do have something to fight for!” She exclaimed, smiling as she faced forward, “I have a cat, a fluffy adorable cat. Her name’s Catastrophe.” She explained, smiling softly, more genuine. “She’s a rescue I found, a little survivor. I can’t believe I didn’t think about what may happen to her if I’m not there.” She said, more serious now.
She calmed herself, but her heartbeat had pick up drastically at the thought. Her cat was the only thing she treasured and loved, and she forgot about Catastrophe in her panic and loathing of the Capital. Then again, Catastrophe should be fine for a while at least.
She smiled, it wasn’t as large as before, “Yeah I’ve wondered that too. Maybe it’s because it’s easier for them to kill? To us, killing would be hard, morally wrong. For them it’s a trophy.” She suggested, shrugging.
Her smile turned serious again, “Hey, the katana thing was not a joke,” she huffed, even though it was, “But if you prefer we can both train in multiple weapons.” she huffed.
