Welcome to The WCRF Anime Watching Club! We are a group of otakus who have gathered to share in the joy of anime watching. Each anime season, we select one airing anime to watch. After each new episode airs, we will each post our opinions on it and discuss the series as a whole up until that point. At the same time, we'll watch an older, completed anime, usually an episode per week, and discuss it as we go. Because this is a children's forum, we stray from any anime that has any R17+ or X-rated content.
Rules Regarding Completed Series:
1) Please do not post any information about the episode we are on until we have reached that episode's due date. You are allowed to post about whether or not you liked the episode, but no information may be leaked.
2) If you do not finish the episode by the due date without a legitimate excuse, you'll receive a strike against you. Three strikes, and you're out of the Club.
3) Please don't be a party pooper by going off and watching the whole series at once. We are acting as if a completed anime is actually an airing one, and would prefer if you'd preserve the viewing experience by watching the anime at the same pace as everyone else. On that note, don't go off and look up the plot beyond where we're at. That's just as bad as watching the whole series at once.
4) If for some reason you've already seen our completed series or parts of it, do not post spoilers, even under a spoiler tag. You will be warned once for this, then kicked out of the Club.
5) When discussing the latest episode or any ones prior, put all information under spoiler tags for those viewing our page who are not Club members.
Our Otakus:
Hello! I started watching anime probably around the time I started high school, which was about 2010 or so. My favorite anime series include Hetalia, Soul Eater, Mirai Nikki, Black Butler,Ginga dentsu weed and Puella Magi Madoka Magica. I haven't really come across a series I didn't like but there are a few I just couldn't get into like Naruto and Sailor Moon. Some favorite anime characters are America and Germany from Hetalia, Sebastian from Black Butler, Yuno from Mirai Nikki, Mami from PMMM and Death the Kid and Stein from Soul Eater. Genres I generally like are romance(yuri/ included), fantasy/magic, action, comedy and slice of life.
My name is Little Pistol, but people tend to call me Pistol. I started watching anime back in 2012, but I made a poor choice by starting with Berserk and stayed away from anime until late 2015 when I watched Ouran Highschool Host Club. My favorite animes (currently) are Tokyo Ghoul, Always, Your Lie In April, Shiki, When They Cry, Angel Beats!, Kill la Kill, and Soul Eater. I'm kind of a horror/mystery lover ^^ I must say, I have never disliked an anime until it came time to wrap it up. That being said, Death Note's ending was a terrible disappointment. Attack On Titan was a little disappointing, but wasn't bad at all. Favorite anime characters? Rize Kamishiro (Tokyo Ghoul) and Mei Misaki (Another), definitely. As I stated before, Horror Anime is my favorite, but drama, slice of life, action/adventure animes are also great, too. I tend to not watch an anime unless it is recommended to me be two or more people, which I'm trying to fix. I look forward to watching and discussing shows with you all!
I started watching Anime around 2014 as Hetalia was my very first. I do not count Pokémon as an anime really but I did grow up with it as a child. Im not sure what my favorites are, but ones I have enjoyed very much are Hetalia, Haikyuu, Tokyo Ghoul and Noragami. As I do have a short list of anime, I have not found anything that has disappointed me. My friends usually suggest things to me and as we have a lot of the same interests, it's hard to find something I haven't liked yet. Picking a favorite character is honestly hard, it's like saying who's your favorite child? But if I truly had to choose, it'd be the ones I cosplay or plan to cosplay, Suga from Haikyuu, Tsukiyama from TG, Yato from Noragami, France from Hetalia just to state a few. To choose a favorite is hard, I've never really based animes on their genre just that they've been suggested to me. But I do happen to like gore, if Tokyo Ghoul, Attack on Titan, or Psycho Pass are any examples.

In 2013 I started watching a few such as Hetalia and Sword Art Online, like an eighth grader would. (I don't even count SAO on my watched list, it's that bad. I regret watching it. How could I have ever liked it?) I recently got back into anime this past month though, watching some that really resonated with me and sparked my interest: The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Toradora, and Lucky Star. Toradora especially. Taiga is such a good character. I'm a fan of slice of life, romance, adventure, things that are comedic without comedy being the main focus, and anything else as long as it's not way too serious.
I started watching anime when I was in eighth grade. That was five years ago. My friend forced me to watch it, since I hated it and thought it was weird. My favorite right now is Shingeki no Kyojin, but I love many different anime. Hmm, anime I've hated? I'm really picky, so I only watch anime that interests me within the first episode. I'd have to say the only anime I hate are the kind with too much male-oriented fan-service, shouta/lolita *shiver*, or incest. I also strongly dislike anime featuring mecha. Characters I love: Sebastian Michaelis; Kirito from SAO; Eren from SnK & Levi from SnK. My favorite genre is , but I also love shounen and seinen. I occasionally like shoujo.
Hello!
I started watching anime in 2010 though I was a big fan of Pokemon starting around 2002-2003ish, but back then I didn't know what anime is so I don't really count it. My absolute favorite series is Gintama, and it's hard to rank the rest. I love One Piece, Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun, Bleach, Hetalia, Osomatsu-san, Steins;Gate, I could go on and on. I don't have any anime that I've hated, but there are a couple that I dropped because I just got bored or disappointed with them. As for my favorite characters, it's really hard to narrow it down. For now I'll just say Hijikata Toushiro from Gintama, Roronoa Zoro from One Piece, Heiwajima Shizuo from Durarara, Aizen Sousuke from Bleach, Ichinose Tokiya from Uta no Prince-sama, and I'll stop there. For genres, I like shounen/action, comedy, romance, slice of life, scifi, and have started getting more into gore/horror and sports. I also have a love/hate relationship with shoujo romance stuff, love the romance and comedy parts but the characters a lot of times just bug me. I'm not much of a fan of harem stuff, or /yuri, and mecha is sort of hit or miss with me.

My favorite anime series are Bleach, Karneval, Naruto, Gundam, Fairy Tail, Trigun, Deadman Wonderland, Tokyo Ghoul, Yowamushi Pedal, Haikyu, Diamond no Ace, Kuroko no Basket, One Outs, Prince of Tennis, Big windup, Magi, Ginga Densetsu Weed, Ginga Nagareboshi Gin, Dragon Ball, Soul Eater, Black Butler, Code: Breaker, Wolf's Rain, Inuyasha, One Piece, Gurren Lagann, Blue Exorcist, OHSHC, Vampire Knight, Code Geass, Darker than Black, FMA, Eureka Seven/Ao, Parastye, Prince of Stride, Cheer! Yu-gi-oh, D Grey man, Pyscho Pass, Akame ga Kill, FLCL, Yu Yu Hakusho, Hunter X Hunter, Tenchi Muyo, Etc. I was disappointed with Akame ga kill the ending wasn't great. My favorite characters are Light form Death Note, Ichigo, Aizan, Grimmjow, Stark, Aaroninero, Nnoitra, Szayal, Ulquiorra The Captains 1,3,4,6,7,8,10,11,13 and The Lieutenants 3,4,6,8,9,10,11,13 form Bleach, Tenchi from Tenchi Muyo, Yusuke from Yu Yu Hakusho, and all the characters from the Gundam series, ects. My favorite Genres are Action, Mecha, Shounen, Science Fiction, Sports, Martial Arts, Medievalism, War, Mystery, Ancient and ~Defiantly.
Hey, Thistle here. Yes, you can still call me Thistle, or pete if you want idc. But enough about nicknames, animu!!!!1!1 *ahem* I first started watching anime with Pokemon back in the mid-to-late 2000's, and I know it isn't technically an anime I still enjoyed it. I loved and still love Black and White, and sometimes I don't understand why it gets so much hate. I love it! Although, yeah. I'm a little bias lmao. But I liked it. Anyways, my absolute favourite anime has to be Death Note. I love every single bit of it (except for misa... i hate her) and I do tend to find myself watching episodes every now and then. But, my least favourite anime has to be.... uh... maybe Junjuo Romantica. It's not that I hated it, I just disliked parts of it. The story was confusing and honestly, just... very weird. Probably the most disappointing anime I've seen. Moving on, my favourite characters are... damn. I can't really choose one. Or two. Or Hell, even three! It'll have to be L from Death Note, Karma and Sensei from Assassination Classroom, Levi from AOT/SNK, Tamaki from OHSHC, and several others. Now genres. Oh boy. Unlike other girls who tend to stick to the cutesy and more school oriented aime, give me lots of blood and death and I'm happy. I tend to stray towards death, blood, gore, insanity, and the like. I absolutely love bloody anime, with preferably some gore in it. I know a lot of these types of anime have girls as murderers, which is honestly pretty darn cool, but for me a guy as a killer is just... I find so much inspiration for my fics in those I just start to prefer it. Not to say I don't like ones with girl killers. Just give me killers with preferably no romance and i'm set. But I can't really talk about it that much here, which is a shame, due to the age demigraphic on here and that there are so many younger people I can't... really do much about my liking for the anime that not many others do.
