Shadefang noticed the hint of sadness in Fawnstep's voice, and she rested her tail along her back. "I'm sure they didn't mean to leave you behind," she said, her tone softer than normal. She didn't know how true that was, but she couldn't imagine even Twolegs leaving a cat like Fawnstep behind deliberately. She looked out seemingly past the fog. "Mine live a bit further away. They'd almost always have me in a cage and take me places with even more Twolegs, and I hated it." She looked back at Fawnstep. "I'm glad I left."

{ Ahh goodness it is lol good thing it's Green-leaf!
If I disappear, I haven't slept. I've spent this whole time cleaning since last night}
"Of course I'd love kits. I was just worried about it is all, I didn't know if you'd want to actually have my kits." He pressed himself against her and rested his head on top of hers, purring. "Ours will certainly be one of a kind." He mewed, wondering what kits with her would look like. Would they have her pelt or his? They shared similar eye colors so blue was probably the color they would have. He liked the idea of mini versions of him and the she-cat he loved running around the camp.

Fawnstep shivered at the mention of a cage. "That sounds horrible! I'd hate to be trapped like that. I think I was once, to see the two-leg version of a medicine cat when I was sick. That was enough of those for me." She paused, her eyes wandering to Shadefang's face. "I'm glad you left. I don't think I could stand being stuck around the love struck Snaketooth." She laughed, he had been her only friend until the she-cat came along.

{Give it extra love for me!
I can give Jaypaw a different mentor if you'd like. I just put him as that because you listed Rainspirit as his mentor }

Shadefang laughed. "At least they're finally together now, hm?" she said. "But now he's lovestruck and even more open about it." When Fawnstep's eyes met hers, it felt as if her heart leaped into her throat and she let out a cough. She stood up and shook out her pelt, attempting to ignore whatever that was. "Let's see what kind of birds will come our way," she said, turning to look behind them at the rocky terrain.

Fawnstep scrunched up her face, confused to what just happened but she went after Shadefang. "Let's show these birds how strong warriors are!" She half yelled half whispered, her gaze now focused on the sky above her. She listened for the sound of any birds near them, readying herself for when they came across one. She crouched down, trying to make herself blend in with the rocks but obviously failing.

"Wait, Owltuft!" Seedpaw called out, her voice laced with obvious worry as her mentor hurried ahead. She picked up the pace, too concerned to stay behind for long - what if Owltuft slipped and fell? The sky was darkening and the mist was beginning to thicken, foggy tendrils curling around her paws as she gamboled up the slope after Owltuft. She could barely see the ground in front of her paws, let alone any cracks in the mountainside.

Shadefang crouched down a little farther away from Fawnstep, attempting to hide behind a rock without sticking out, but it wasn't working too well. However, she kept her eyes on the sky, waiting for any kind of movement, keeping so still it felt like her heartbeat could be heard from treelengths away. It seemed like moons until she saw a dark shape traveling across the sky, and she glanced over to see if Fawnstep saw the same thing, ears pricked.

Fawnstep crouched down, excitement surging through her. She did see the shadow, she wanted to leap up at it and grab it from the sky but she wasn't sure if that was the safest idea for her. She looked to Shadefang for her own movement, wondering what she would in this situation. She took a deep breath, bracing herself to jump in and help finalize their catch when the time came.

{I'll choose someone, give me a moment.
I chose Icebreeze, I like to give everyone one apprentice each when we get them that way no one is overwhelmed with having to rp training six apprentices }

Snailpaw squeezed her eyes tighter as the dawn light started to filter into the apprentice's den, becoming brighter over time. She almost fell back asleep, but the realization that she was an apprentice and might have things to do made her hop to her paws. She glanced over at Kitepaw, who still appeared to be asleep, before padding out into the clearing with a stretch. Maybe Brokennose wasn't looking for her yet, but it still felt good to be up.

Shadefang looked back up at the sky, watching as the shadow grew closer. She could see now that it was a hawk, fairly young and smaller than average. Still, it would be great for all the kits. They just needed to wait for it to get close enough without alerting it and making them the prey. The she-cat turned to Fawnstep and nodded her head up at the shadow, suggesting that she try to catch it instead. Shadefang couldn't leap as high as her.

(We've skipped forward a moon right so Brambleflower's kits will be old enough to be running around!)
Honeykit yawned, blinking sleepily in the half-light of the nursery. Through partly closed eyes, he looked around the den to see if anybody was awake. Brambleflower was still fast asleep, and although he couldn't see Cloudsplash's face from where he slept among his littermates, he could see the new kits, Rainkit, Smokekit and Bumblekit. He carefully rose to his paws and stepped out of the nest, wincing as he accidentally stepped on the tip of Cherrykit's tail.

Robinsong beamed at the tom and nuzzled into his chest, a loud purr rumbling in her throat. She let out a sigh of relief, then turned her attention back towards their meal. "Well, we better take care of this squirrel before it starts rotting," she chuckled, then took a bite. As expected, it was a bit tough and dull tasting, but it was just good enough to leave her feeling satisfied with the flavors. As she ate, Robinsong leaned against Snaketooth, unable to stop her continuous purring.

Fawnstep's eyes grew wide before she turned to the hawk, waiting for it to swoop down lower. When it had she bunched her muscles up together and leaped into the air, snagging it with her claws. She felt the both of them fall to the ground quickly, landing with a rough thud. Ugh I didn't think that through... She bit down on it's neck and felt it feebly flapping it's wings against the side, she was careful to avoid it's talons that were now scraping the rough rock. She bit harder, hoping it would stop moving soon.

Cherrykit let out a small squeal, leaping up from the nest she was in. She shot a glare Honeykit's way now, angry her sleep had been disturbed by him. "Honeykit, watch where your going!" She whined, dragging her tail close to her.

Snaketooth took a bite after her, unable to contain the purr rising in his own throat. He was eating good prey, to him any prey was good though, and had just learned his mate wanted to have kits with him! Nothing could bring the tom down today.

Kitepaw was roused by the rustle of moss and the sound of pawsteps by his head. He cracked open an eye to see Snailpaw heading out of the den, and realised that it must have been her pawsteps he'd heard. With a loud yawn, he sat up in his nest and stretched out his forelegs. He clambered to his paws and padded after Snailpaw, a small bounce in his step as he caught up with the silver tabby apprentice.
