...the fics you're reading lately! you don't have to say the name of the fic if you don't want, but tell me more about the plots and characters that you've been reading about as of late!
personally, i've found the time to finally read jackalstep's longer works, the fox and the pigeon as well as i am a rock, and they really exceed expectations with vibrant characters and neatly constructed plots. i'm really glad i took the time to read them, and now that i'm all caught up, i'm going to reread sapphire's a lamentation of swans in order to catch up, and then i'll finally tackle phantomstar's new blood, which might take some time. it's nearly as long as one of my own fics, and i know that one takes time to read. [sweats] i'm excited, though!
so how about y'all?

Oh, and I also just discovered Beautiful Insanity version 2, with humans! I loved the cat version, and so am planning to read that.
Yeah, makes sense. It's a little annoying, and too bad. All the official art was nice for banners and such...

I know, right? That was one of the first 'fics I read.
Yeah, but... *pouts* Actually, yeah, I like how photo rules are more relaxed here, other than that one little point about warriors art. I've already used free stock photos for a bunch of things, like my cover pics for Figment.
Totally random, but when do you start school again?

Yeah, definitely. I always wonder, is there another way to find photos to use withou copyright problems, or are the few websites specifically labeled "free stock photos" pretty much the only option?
I start Tuesday (no pun intended XD). I'm sort of looking forward to something to do, but kind of not, if you know what I mean. It's a totally new school for me, and I'm a little nervous.

go to google, search for whatever you're looking for, and then under search tools, select usage rights, and then choose either of the options labeled for reuse with modification. since none of what we do here is commercial (it's all nonprofit), then you're golden as long as reuse and modification is okay. aaahhh, yeah, i understand. i was a college freshman four hours from home last year, so that can be intimidating. you'll do great, though!! remember you don't have to do everything at once, and that the people you meet right away don't have to be your best friends. you can take time to adjust. make sure you make time to take care of yourself, too.  |

I'm the awkward little sister who seems nice at first but turns out to just be weird. xD Yeah, I know the feeling. I've been trying to fit in a little writing, but it doesn't always happen. I am kind of dreading the start of school. There goes my free time... Oh well, at least it will force me to socialize, haha.

I've been reading Blue's fic, Seeing the World in Black and Gold, which is the second story to The Name No One Knows. I also have been reading Phantomstar57's New Blood: Born of Smoke and Fire.

Oh yeah, it takes time to read, but it is really good. I do very much recommend it along with Blue's stuff. They are both good writers with awesome ideas. If you see any of Mosspool's stories around, give them a try, too. |
