Axel took his few moments of peace to actually see who'd come to help him. Immediately recognizing Eris from earlier this morning. The other camper though, he'd never seen. Then again,he didn't really "see" anyone since he never got out.
(Not sure whether to wait on Lily of not xD)

Lani walked over and settles down beside Riley and leans back a little. "That's me." She answered surprised that Riley actually knew her name. "Hope I'm not bothering you. I didn't have anything to do and thought about hanging out somewhere." Most campers preferred to stay away from the Ares children. "Don't worry about it, you're good." Riley gave the other girl a polite smile as she leaned back against the tree, shrugging her shoulders a bit in an attempt to get comfortable. "I've been extremely bored all day so I actually don't mind the company." For once. She kept the last bit to herself, but it wasn't really a secret that she liked being alone most days.

Delilah smiled, surprised written in her gaze, but in a good way. She was impressed he own up to it so easily. Most people stuttered and made all kinds of excuses. "Well, I appreciate the honesty," Her tone light-hearted as she continued," my actual name is Delilah, everyone calls me Lila though, so you were actually kind of close." She grinned and then added. "Kind of" Delilah shrugged casually and grinned. "I'll respond to just about anything, so you can call me whatever you want." She slid to the side to straighten herself out and then flopped down on the roof, gazing up at the bright blue sky. "How often do you come up here?" She asked curiously, glancing over at Sebastian momentarily before going back to observing the clouds. <iframe width="19.120000000000005" height="5.340000000000003" style="position: absolute; width: 19.120000000000005px; height: 5.340000000000003px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none;left: 15px; top: -5px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_6775622" scrolling="no"></iframe> <iframe width="19.120000000000005" height="5.340000000000003" style="position: absolute; width: 19.12px; height: 5.34px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 900px; top: -5px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_11506653" scrolling="no"></iframe> <iframe width="19.120000000000005" height="5.340000000000003" style="position: absolute; width: 19.12px; height: 5.34px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 15px; top: 205px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_32290725" scrolling="no"></iframe> <iframe width="19.120000000000005" height="5.340000000000003" style="position: absolute; width: 19.12px; height: 5.34px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 900px; top: 205px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_39858915" scrolling="no"></iframe> "Hmm... Well, if I'm not here then I'm out in the woods or on the beach. But you won't find me around camp - not really. Being around a lot of people isn't really my thing." - Sorry the posts are short I'm working so trying to type quick! -

Even though her words sounded mean, there was a hint of a joking mannerism tucked deep within her olive eyes. "If we didn't show up when we did you would be snake food...though it looks a bit like you were snake food already." Her gaze fell on to his shoulder, the expression on her face unreadable. I am mildly concerned, but it's his own fault for wandering around alone.

((I still have a daughter of Hermes open, if anyone needs someone to RP with))
Elias spread his fingertips, tasting freedom in the air as he breathed in. There was dread there, of course - the fear of being attacked. But what freedom came without fear? Elias felt like taking off down the hill at full speed, relishing in the fact that he was now allowed to live his own life - maybe use a phone. Something he'd taken for granted.
Elias looked back at Simon, noticing he looked much less thrilled than Elias was. "Yeah, my guard's always up," Elias lied. "There's a street a little ways down where we could probably call a cab." Elias began to walk off in the direction he'd specified, down Half-Blood Hill. "You ask me what I want to see? I'm not sure about Empire State...that's where my mom lives, after all. But Times Square, Broadway? Hell, I want to see it all. Surely there's something you're excited about."

Simon tried his best to hide his anxiety- the son of demeter just looked so excited about being out of the camp that he couldn't really burst his bubble- but it wasn't easy to do so. It was clear he didnt' do well, either, looking uncertain when Elias lied and said his guard was always up. Was it really, if he wanted to go out like this? He didn't challenge the other, though, instead nodding slowly as he reluctantly walked down the hill. He could still remember the day he'd been brought here, terrified out of his mind and clinging desperately onto a demigods shirt, and he couldn't help but shudder before looking up, a wry smile on his face.
"I spent eleven years living there. It's... lost it's luster." He explained wryly before a thoughtful look filtered onto his features. "I suppose... Grant park is always nice. If you'd want to go, that is. There's places where you can get candied nuts and popcorn." He mused as he walked carefully down the hill, his features tight, looking around almost anxiously as he waited for some monster to jump out oat them.

"Please let the record state- This is in no way my fault and Chevalier can return to Tartarus." Spoken to...no one. At least no one capable of a coherent response. But it needs to be said. The world in general needs to regularly be reminded that Chevalier is a blight on all of existence. And Madoka is free of all blame. An innocent bystander. A captive, even. Seduced into this ridiculous scheme with showy gestures and courtly trash talk. Sleek red-velvet hair slips from the topknot he'd twisted it into, flaring around his face in a shining curtain as he executes a twirl that would be somewhat impressive in scorched combat boots- if not for the fact that he trips over a root mid-spin and stumbles into a stunted tree with a huff of precious air. Madoka exhales on a curse, catching himself with one bloodied hand just before he eats bark. The near-perpetual roaring that has been echoing throughout the trees for the last five minutes grows louder. Or closer. Or both. And gains a certain nuance that suggests-
"There are two of them? Of course! Damn you Chevalier~!" Though breathless, he manages a musical, bell-like laugh and swings around to press his back to the trunk. Madoka widens his stance, lifts Cosmos with his left hand and allows the engraved chain to slide through the gloved fingers of his right, judging the length needed through feel alone. His battle-bright eyes are trained on the tangle of undergrowth ahead. Camp Half Blood is just beyond the Forest's trees- he's too close to risk running any further. This tiny overgrown clearing is where he'll make his stand.
The rapid snapping of branches to his left is his cue to act- Madoka tosses the sickle to his right hand and gives it leave, swinging the chain in an arc that he spins counter to, wrapping the excess length around his left forearm as he moves. The blade catches briefly and he yanks back with his left arm at the end of his spin, tearing through something that elicits a pained screech. Cosmos whips back toward him, bloody, and Madoka deftly catches the handle as he dances back to evade a countering swipe of massive claws. The earth underneath his boots tremors with the massive steps of his prey- or hunter- potayto potahto- as it lumbers into full view. A five foot tall, thickly furred, beady eyed...badger. It was the best they could find, and least likely to be a serious threat to the other campers.
The glory isn't in slaying the monster, after all. The proposed challenge was to lure them as close to Camp as could be achieved and then killing the monsters before anyone was the wiser- Or it broke free of their game and endangered any adventuring halfbloods in the area. So either or. This round is the tie-breaker, both Chevalier and Madoka having each engaged in feats of daring that proved them almost evenly matched in terms of stupid ideas pursued just how well they could meet the challenges. But now he's so close that he can smell whatever is being served at the Dining Pavilion and it smells like victory.
The redhead grins as he casually begins to spin his chain, turning the blade into a bronze blur as he gracefully outmaneuvers the clumsy strikes of his opponent and responds with the occasional flick of his kusarigama. Having previously harried it in their initial encounter, it's hardly a challenge now. He supposes he can't simply let it bleed out..."Oi, are you ready to die yet?" The drawl starts out amused but ends on a hitch when the displacement of air on his left forces him to throw himself to the side. Blade-like claws rake over his head, missing his skull by mere inches before plunging halfway through the trunk of a slim birch and snapping it in half. Madoka catches the ground with one hand and swings his body around to land in a crouch, skidding backwards with an irritated hiss. "Two." He mutters, a belated reminder. The new monster snarls and starts toward him, but he's momentarily distracted by the beautiful cerise littering the leaves before him and caught in its claws. Horrified, he straightens and tentatively tugs on a jaggedly shorn lock of red-velvet.
"My hair!"

"Things have been pretty slow around here." Lani remarked looking at the water for a moment before looking back at Riley. There wasn't a huge mass of newbies coming to camp and the world wasn't in danger. "Think anything exciting will happen soon?" She asked. Lani wouldn't mind if it was monsters or if certain houses started fighting each other.

Delilah continued to look at the sky as he talked, listening carefully to him since she wasn't looking. She seemed a bit surprised by some of his words and her frown furrowed in confusion. "You're not a people person?" She was genuinely baffled and opened her mouth to make a small comment. "No offense, but I had you pegged for one of those older campers that all the 14 year old's follow around and giggle about. And you throw a few grins, winks, maybe say a couple words to them to keep their crazy hormones satisfied." Delilah grinned and laughed at the thought as she pictured Sebastian being followed around by annoying little girls.
Axel looked at Eris with lazy eyes, taking a visibly deep breath. "You know, I think I prefer the snakes over this."-He looked around over his shoulders, to dramatize his statement as he continued-"Maybe some more will show up and save me from you. They like rat, don't they? I should probably just drizzle myself in gravy and lay out in the middle of the woods. That should do the trick." His voice was dead flat, every part of his body language and tone saying he had no interest in the conversation and was clearly fed up with the other girl. Except the small lift of the left corner of his lips, creating an almost imperceivable smirk. It was oddly relieving that someone was just as rude to him as he was to them. Axel wasn't sure why, but it was almost enjoyable. Almost.

Elias looked at Simon, silently wishing that there was something he could do to relieve his anxiety - other than go back to camp, of course. Now that the plan had gone farther than just words, Elias couldn't turn back. "I can get the whole 'losing its luster' thing, but that's why I want to leave camp." Elias had always been impatient, and it wasn't entirely due to his ADHD. He had a tendency to jump from friend group to friend group, trying every sport and after school club, looking for something to fill that little place in his heart that wasn't satisfied. It had taken years for the magic of camp to wear off, but now that it had, the little place in Elias' heart was even less satisfied. "A park, you say? Full of plants, trees...? You want to take me to a park? Simon, I'm sorry, but you're dumber than you look," Elias teased, his eyes twinkling.

"What a horrible way to treat someone who just saved your life! I guess I forgot to kill one of the snakes, considering there's one standing right in front of me." Eris crossed her arms and pretended to be hurt. "I really should have let them eat you. I would have got some popcorn and everything. Would have been a very nice show." She lifted her chin. He's bizarre. I wonder if there are more antisocial campers here. I wouldn't mind bumping in to those. Much better than the lovely dovey friendship ones.

Simon glanced over at him in interest at the comment, not really thinking about how the camp could lose it's luster, because he'd always been the type to b happy with her he was. It never bothered him much to have to stay in the same camp, happy with the books he'd convinced the Hermes kid to get him, mostly because there were a lot less ghosts wandering around the camp. Most demigods didn't end up in this plane of existence during their after life, of course a few stuck around, but only until proper burial rituals had been enacted. In New York? It felt like he was going a bit crazy at times, and he hated it, but instead of saying that he simply hummed out a noncommittal noise. His cheeks turned a bright red at the teasing, a scowl flickering onto his features, "Well! It's just... a nice place." He whined as he rubbed his face irritably. He paused at the street, surpassed a monster hadn't found them yet, forcing himself to calm down. "Everything else is so... touristy."

Axel rolled his eyes, mirroring Eris by crossing his arms and huffing. Crossing his arms caused a wave of stinging pain to wash of his shoulder where his burn still lay, slowly growing more red. Ignoring his shoulder, he looked at Eris with the same low lidded, lazy expression from before. "Oh yeah, I would've enjoyed fiery death by Basilisk just about as much as I'm enjoying this conversation."

Elias covered his laugh upon seeing how red Simon's face had gone at the comment. Usually faces that red were caused by someone screaming in Elias' face, not because he had really managed to embarrass them. Of course, that was sometimes the root cause of the yelling in question. "No, yeah, I see what you mean," Elias shrugged, silently wishing he had brought along one of his sweatshirts. Depending on how late they stayed, it would get cold. Elias just brushed off the thought and thought about the comment Simon had made. Elias actually liked tourist-y, the rush of people, the murmur of a thousand conversations. He'd always adored going into the big city with his father. He actually found it ironic that the son of Demeter would find his place among skyscrapers and cracked sidewalks.

"You're not a very pleasant person...I gotta admit I like it." Eris grinned, but it was by no means something warm. Her smile was like one of a skeleton or corpse grinning. Cold and completely without any sign of compassion or warmth. "Go get that shoulder checked out. Looks like it hurts. Do you want me to get a band aid for it?" Although her tone was harsh there was a level of concern she found impossible to keep out of her eyes.

Axel scoffed, "That's a first. But it still doesn't make me like you." His smirk widening only slightly before it disappeared. He glanced over his shoulder at the burn spot. It was starting to scab. Ew. His gaze moved back to Eris and he just shrugged. "It'll heal over time. If it's worse tomorrow then I'll fix it." His eyes narrowed and his eyebrow arched. He scoffed again. "You might wanna save a band aid for your head. It might get too big and explode." Axel widened his hands in an eccentric "boom" on both sides of his head right by his ears as he spoke.

Eris rolled her eyes. "See, I tried to be nice and you still are rude. Fine, next time I'll let the big scary snakes eat your ungrateful butt." She stuck her tongue out like a child and blew a raspberry at him. "This is why I dont like people."

Axel continued to arch an eyebrow, but his smirk reappeared. "I'm having kindergarten flashbacks." His facial expression changing into an odd expression only he could really understand the meaning of. "I think you should've just made that face"-Axel waved his hand in a gesture to her whole facial expression-"when you showed up. Basilisk would've slithered away faster then they showed up."

Eris pretended to gasp. "Oh you mean thos face? But I'm so beautiful." She busted out a pouty face, tipping her head to the side. Eris couldnt help it-she began to laugh hysterically, doubling over. "Yea, I'm just kidding. This isn't a pretty face." She laughed harder. She was by no means a bad looking girl at all, but she was a little pale and dead looking, a byproduct of her father

Axel's brow began to knit in confusion, while the corner of his lips tugged up in a tiny, confused smile. He gave a very short lived and lazy attempt of a chuckle. "I think you are incredibly bizarre. And I think this conversational topic is a trap that I'll be avoiding." He crossed his arms and leaned back with a small 'huff' sound escaping his lips.
