I've yet to hear a right proper thank you for saving your pathetic life." Eris shook her head. He's very odd. Very odd indeed. She frowned, wondering what had brought this kid to a camp he seemed to hate so much and why he was so bitter. Everyone was bitter for a reason, unless he was just born sucking on a lemon
If I had to pick a 'theme song' so to speak for Eris, it would probably be The Red by Chevelle, or Get Scared by Set It Off. What about y'all))

Axel smirked.
"I don't grovel. You came on your own time and your own choice." He looked her up and down with an expression full of attitude.
"If I am so pathetic, you really should've just left me to die. It would've been an act of mercy." His tone was full of dead pan sarcasm and he looked at her lazily as he drew on and on.
"A fiery...painful...horrifying...traumatic...cruel...excruciating...deadly...ridiculously agonizing act of mercy. Much like this conversation, but more enjoyable." His smirk lifted lopsided to the right as his expression changed to one of apathetic boredom, but the smirk itself revealed that he was in fact, far from bored.

Eris blinked slowly. She was finding Axel more and more weird with every sentence that came out of this boys mouth. "If you'd rather I can always drag you down to the pits of the underworld to suffer eternal damnation. But just to make your life more of a misery I would probably go down there and visit you, to be honest. Ooh isn't that a fun thought...even upon death you just can't get away from me." She grinned coldly, mild amusement twinkling on her eyes. She had to admit she was starting to enjoy this interaction. Going so long not talking to anyone ever was such a drag on ones mental state. Messing around with someone as antisocial as she was rather entertaining

Elias covered his laugh upon seeing how red Simon's face had gone at the comment. Usually faces that red were caused by someone screaming in Elias' face, not because he had really managed to embarrass them. Of course, that was sometimes the root cause of the yelling in question. "No, yeah, I see what you mean," Elias shrugged, silently wishing he had brought along one of his sweatshirts. Depending on how late they stayed, it would get cold. Elias just brushed off the thought and thought about the comment Simon had made. Elias actually liked tourist-y, the rush of people, the murmur of a thousand conversations. He'd always adored going into the big city with his father. He actually found it ironic that the son of Demeter would find his place among skyscrapers and cracked sidewalks. (Shall we skip to them getting out of the taxi?) |

Axel gave a give dramatic sigh and dropped his arms.
"I don't think I'll ever escape you. Now I'm really in Hell. Mind and body." He looked at Eris lazily. Axel shrugged,
"I guess this is the price you pay for being devilishly handsome when a Hades spawn is obsessed with you. No more peace." He arched an eyebrow up arrogantly and winked so quickly, it was all to easy to miss. And if it was caught, his remaining facial expression of laziness and boredom with the conversation was enough to make almost anyone question whether they'd actually seen it.

Axel sighed,
"If I could just walk away, I would, but you pop up everywhere I go. Clearly, there is no escape." He shrugged his shoulders and mocked a face of complete loss and surrender.
"Death is clearly not an option anymore, it really is a pity. I was relatively eager to see Hades. Maybe get eaten by his giant dog."

It's alright, not like mine are any better  )) Eris scowled and shrugged. "You aren't missing too much with Hades. He's pasty and all dark and dreary. Kinda like me, but less attractive. Cerberus is a good boy. He likes belly rubs a lot, and he also likes to eat obnoxious children of Athena." She grinned darkly, enjoying her little twisted sense of humor most of the time. . |

"Things have been pretty slow around here." Lani remarked looking at the water for a moment before looking back at Riley. There wasn't a huge mass of newbies coming to camp and the world wasn't in danger. "Think anything exciting will happen soon?" She asked. Lani wouldn't mind if it was monsters or if certain houses started fighting each other. - *facepalm* I just realized my replies from the other day never posted - The daughter of Aphrodite gave the other girl a small shrug, "Honestly I'm not so sure." She was quiet for a moment as she watched the water ripple, thinking. Suddenly an idea came to her, although maybe not a good one. "We could always try and go see what we can find in the woods, sometimes monsters pop out though it's mostly at night... Or we could go to the beach?" Riley was just throwing ideas out as she thought of them. "We could always do some training too... Hmm... what else..." |

Delilah continued to look at the sky as he talked, listening carefully to him since she wasn't looking. She seemed a bit surprised by some of his words and her frown furrowed in confusion. "You're not a people person?" She was genuinely baffled and opened her mouth to make a small comment. "No offense, but I had you pegged for one of those older campers that all the 14 year old's follow around and giggle about. And you throw a few grins, winks, maybe say a couple words to them to keep their crazy hormones satisfied." Delilah grinned and laughed at the thought as she pictured Sebastian being followed around by annoying little girls. "Oh they do on occasion. Most of them are normally Aphrodie girls that don't want to get their hands dirty, so if I'm here or sat in a tree somewhere, odds are they won't follow and they'll eventually get bored if I don't come down." Bash gave her a small shrug, "I made the mistake of training with one my first year here, then that one turned into two and then three and they just kept multipying like hyper little annoying bunnies all wanting something different." He couldn't help but shake his head at the memory, remembering all of the random things they had asked him for help with. He couldn't help it, but looking back on it now brought a smile to his face. "Believe it or not, Riley, the head counselor of Aphrodite, was the one who started it all. It wasn't on purpose, but whe was terrified of everything when she first arrived here and she was always by herself. So one day I decided to reach out to her and we sparred for a bit, then her siblings and a few other girls saw... Never again." |

Lani perked up once the forest was mentioned. She has always thought about venturing into the forest just to see what she could find. "I'm all for checking out the forest." She said feeling a bit of excitement flow through her. There was something about a potential for fighting that made her heart pump a little faster.

(I'm not sure how active this still is, but I'm gonna try to get on a few times this week in between all my classes. I'm also gonna go ahead and post replies to try to keep this alive xD)
Axel scoffed,
"He'd probably eat me pretty quickly then." He said lightly with a small shrug. His mouth twisted into a smirk as he continued, as though he was proud of his next statement.
"I'm incredibly obnoxious. People just have a hard time dealing with all of the skill and charm I ooze in all my actions." His voice drowning in sarcasm, knowing full well, that while there was some truth to his statement, he was completely exaggerating and didn't even believe the last half.
Delilah laughed, clearly amused by his story.
"As a male, never have contact with an Aphrodite female alone." She grinned, "It always goes downhill. Fast." Her smile widened.
"It's easier for girls to avoid Aphrodite boys because they tend to just...." She paused trying to think of a nice way to say it "They're.....well....they're incredibly big headed, egotistic, cocky, arrogant, annoying, rude, they think they're cool when they really aren't. The only thing anyone enjoys about them is their face. Sometimes not even that. They really should just get over themselves and grow up. But that seems impossible for them somehow."

I've been chilling )) Eris rolled her eyes. "I've been cyclops with far more charm and skill than you, sorry." She scoffed. "In fact, there is more skill in my pinky toe than in your entire body." Eris was finding herself running out of comebacks, as she wasn't expecting him to still be around. She had to admit though, she kinda enjoyed having interaction with someone for this long. It was probably the most she's ever spoken to another human being. Most interactions were curt, short, and consisted at her snapping until the other person left |

Axel made a mock surprised face.
"Wow, your pinkie toe must be spectacular! It's a crying shame you don't put any of the talent to use. I mean, obviously you aren't using it now."-He paused and gestured to all of her, flinging his hand up and down her figure- "Clearly, you could use the help." He eyes flashed as the corner of his lips lifted in a miniscule, sarcastic smile.
"You could really use the help,"-Again, he waved his hand, but this time only around her cranial area- "all up there."

Eris gasped, rolling her eyes. "Wow, I'm just so insulted I might have to go cry in a corner somewhere...oh wait I must be thinking of something you do. I've have bricks in a wall hurt me more than you ever could." Eris snorted. This statement was mildly true, as she has punched a brick wall once and fractured several of her fingers. Why is he still talking to me? Her eyes narrowed to slits

Axel scoffed,
"I'm definitely not trying to hurt you." He smirked.
"But it's nice to know that you thought I was. Really feels good to know my personality is still just as prickly as always." His smirked widened as he cocked his head to the side a bit, shifting his body position to lean on a tree. He glanced at his shoulder, the spot was bright red and had a few scabs and blisters, but with his skin hardening to the burn, he was really sort of numb to the pain. But he made a mental note to do some research on healing Basilisk burns. Just in case.

Eris couldn't help but frown as her eyes fell on his shoulder after she noticed his glance. "You really should get that checked out, or you may end up in the Underworld without my help." By all means Eris was far from the caring and nurturing 'let me kiss your boo boo and put a bandaid on it' type, but she couldn't help that very human instinct of feeling concern for another being. She hated this said instinct.

Axel gave a careless shrug.
"It's not like it's poisonous or something." He looked at his shoulder again, giving it a long and hard glance. His face twisting into one of disgust as his nose wrinkled at it. He really didn't have time to deal with it. There were more important things to be doing. Like....reading his books and.....avoiding people.....
"If it gets worse I'll have someone look at it, but it looks perfectly healthy to me. All things considered."

Wanting to avoid seeking medical aid from another person because people sucked was completely understandable. Yet someone not even willing to help themselves seemed strange to her. Does no one here have a very strong self-preservation will? Eris raised an eyebrow as she looked Axel up and down

Axel looked at her with an arched eyebrow as she seemed absorbed in her own thoughts. He sighed,
"I'm glad you're enjoying what you're looking at, but I have a nice lunch to eat and the bell will be ringing any minute now." Axel took a short step back and stuck his hands in his pockets.
"It was fun being threatened to be sent to the Underworld and tortured, we'll have to do it again sometime. But right not it's food time." He took a couple more steps back and then looked at Eris.
"Coming?"

Eris was completely and totally dumbfounded at the fact that someone had actually invited her to go with them. Everyone usually told her to beat it or didn't say anything at all, or ran quickly in the other directly. She was an invite out to lunch type of girl. "Is this some sort of evil trap?" She raised an eyebrow as she slowly began to take steps toward him. Her body was clearly tense, strung tight as a cat looking at a dog
