Axel rubbed his bicep after her punch and just shook his head with a small smile. He seemed to be thinking to himself as she continued talking. His gaze focused on his feet as he zoned out of the moment, trying to wrestle with his thoughts. The idea of getting out sounded glorious and he was just trying to ignore the nagging of his own brain. Finally deciding to push away his constant thoughts for logic, he blinked quickly, pulling himself out of his daze and looked at Eris.
"Alright then sunshine, let's do it." Axel arched his eyebrow a bit, but smirked.
"What's your plan?"

lol yea it's gonna be my hero the first couple of weeks))
It took a great deal of self control to not let her mouth drop open in shock. Never in a million years did she actually expect him to say yes. She tried her best to conceal her surprise, replacing the shell-shocked expression with once of irritation at the nickname 'sunshine'. "Don't call be that, pretty boy, unless you want to get hit again much harder. As for my plan...I have no idea, I never thought I would get this far..." She trailed off, her voice becoming smaller and quieter as she spoke-another aspect that annoyed her. She didn't want to come off as weak or lost after talking such a big game

Axel smirked a bit, feeling a little more at ease after she grew a bit irritated at his comment. That was a normal reaction, so she wasn't just messing with him.
"Well, if you really want to convince people to run away with you, you've got to have a nice plan to draw them in. But you got lucky with me, I'm the exceptional exception." He bounced his eyebrows.
"How far away are you thinking? We need a destination. And then a plan."

"As far away as humanly possible before we either run out of a means to get any further or we die. Or both." Eris rubbed her chin as she attempted to think of a far more serious answer than the one she had given. She never really thought about where she would go if given the opportunity to go. It was always something she wanted to have figured out, but knew it was a waste of time since she never had a means to get there. "Definitely no where that we would have to cross water to get to. Not trying to meet the same fate as the Titanic, except instead of an iceberg it's a giant sea serpent."

Axel chuckled a bit and sat back. Honestly, there wasn't much of a 'destination' to be thought of. They would never be safe and thus, would most likely never stay in the same spot. So finding a specific area was a bit redundant now that he thought of it. He was just always used to having a set plan or place, something to execute, an end to push on toward. But this sort of 'adventure' didn't really have one.
"Alright, how about......where have you always wanted to go? A city you've always wanted to visit, country you've always wanted to go to?" He asked curiously, looking over at her.

Eris thought for a few seconds before an answer appeared clearly in her mind. "Utah." She nodded firmly. "I've always wanted to live in Utah." As far as destinations were concerned, a desert probably wasn't the brightest one; it opened the doors for all sorts of sand and heat based creatures that wanted to eat them. Frankly, she didn't care.

That's a whole mood _._ I contemplated dropping out at one point  )) "Idaho is the potato state, you bird brain. And Hades no, no over-seas. Over-seas means over water, which mean crazy serpents and sirens and all other nasty things. Or it means we fly there and the sky is Zeus's domain. That's a straight-up no go." Eris crossed her arms and firmly shook her head. |

XD The amount of complete mental breakdowns I've had is unhealthy and a ton of my friends freaked out and almost changed majors like 3 times. It's been a lot. Fall Break is here to save me though.)
Axel sighed,
"So basically we're stuck here in the ugly place." He frowned, he always wanted to go overseas. To Italy and Japan specifically. But he also didn't really want to die along the way either.
"Alright then, Utah and Montana it is first. We can pick other places as we go I guess." He shifted himself to get more comfortable as he started planning, something that always excited him.
"We'll need a map so we can figure out our course and not get lost. I have my driver's license, but a car is going to be a bit of an issue. That and money, we'll need food and gas along the way." Axel rubbed his hands together in thought, "I suppose we could sneak out every night, as long as we're smart, and stock up some before we actually head out. That way we have time to get a solid plan in place to provide it all for us. While it would be easier to steal things, running from monsters and the police would make things incredibly difficult for us."

Yea I feel that, it's way too much all at once))
Eris rubbed her chin, an almost evil and maniacal look in her dark eyes. "Who says we would have to steal anything? You just need to be able to flaunt whatever flair you have and most of the time people will do whatever you want, or give you whatever you want." She didn't see the sense in throwing in the fact she had frequently pulled the 'oh no I left my wallet at home' while staring seductively at the cashier in order to get a free meal. "And I can shadow travel if we really need to. Never tried popping in to a bank vault before but I could give it a try, and no one would ever know."

Axel looked a bit surprised at her suggestion, of living dangerously. But then again, she did appear to be the rebellious type. After a moment of thought he simply commented,
"Don't we want to avoid drawing attention to ourselves?"
He had to admit, living that way did have a sort of pull to it. It would most certainly be exciting and keep them on their toes. They wouldn't have anything to track such as a paper trail or a phone line. It might be easier than he originally thought, but it still had its dangers.

Eris shrugged. "Are you scared, pretty boy? We can always stay here and keep to ourselves, it's far less dangerous and no attention will get drawn to us." Her eyes glimmered with unspoken challenge. She wondered if he really was up to something like this after all.

Axel's eye flashed a bit at her small taunt,
"I'm not scared, I like to think things through instead of just going and dying." He said shortly. But her taunt was enough to spark his temper ever so slightly and push him into his next statement.
"We'll do it. I've got maps for this state under my bed. We'll find a direction, get a car and go." Just putting the action to words made his heart pound as his adrenaline started pumping.
"We can map out a course tonight, tomorrow at breakfast, lunch, and dinner, we start stocking up on nonperishable foods, and the night after we raid shed and training grounds for our weapons and go. Sound like a plan, sunshine?" He said, his voice harsh and sarcastic, but the nickname held less of the venom that it had earlier.
(I'm on Christmas break so hopefully I'll be able to get on more frequently, sorry I took so long, finals week killed me xD)

lol you're all good. I've been painfully busy between work and school, so I totally get it))
Eris allowed a grin to spread across her face, her entire body tensing with the anticipation of finally getting out of the stupid camp she was trapped in and back out in to the world. Part of her knew this whole idea was dumb and could end up in one of them being killed, but the child of death had little to fear about the prospect of ending up in the underworld. "Sunshine? I have to say, you really are an interesting character." Eris raised an eyebrow before nodding. "Also yes, I think that is a plan I can get down with."

Axel smirked a bit, interesting character wasn't one he heard a lot. He straightened a bit,
"Alright, I'll go grab maps. Most of my cabin mates are out, you can come with or not, up to you." He said as he dusted off his pants and stood up. This was really happening.

Eris swallowed hard, unsure of whether or not she really wanted to go with him, since going with him would mean prolonging this already long interaction. At the same time, a part deep within her somewhat liked this spunky brat, even if he was annoying. Not to mention the fact she knew she would have to get used to his presence if they were going to be travelling together for a while. "Well, lead the way, pretty boy." She grinned
