Aquaman was fricking amazing- I loved it.
It was 1000x better than Justice League, and really improved my thoughts on DC. But even then, Wonder Woman had done that when that movie came out xD
I'm genuinely hoping theres a second movie. Because that movie was action packed from beginning to end. |

Honestly I preferred it more than WonderWoman, thought the humour just bumped it a little further up the rankings for me, though I found both films to be really enjoyable! Sadly Marvel will always reign supreme in my eyes, and it might take minor possession to convince me otherwise XD Mera is one of my new favourite characters honestly.
I would love a second movie, definitely deserving and so much to be expanded on.
Do have a question for you though; what did you think of Black Manta out of curiosity? A lot of people I know loved him, but I sort of saw him as a bit of a pointless addition. Though their battle scene in Sicilly was incredible.

i think the point of black manta was to introduce him for a second movie, tbh - his end scene makes me feel like he's gonna come back in an even bigger way later |

Potentially, but I'd still liked to have seen a rather cool looking villain go to better use. The costume design team deserve a multitude of medals for making the cringiest and stupidest costumes in concept look pretty cool in reality though.

Ahh I agree. The costumes could've definitely been better xDD Like,, it looked like Manta was in a bug soot with the huge ass eyes the outfit had (the one he built after King Orm sent the Atlantian weapons)
But overall my feelings on Manta in general are kinda neutral. I didn't see the point in including him throughout the movie, however. I just felt as if scenes with him were more like fillers than anything else. |

Moving forward up the trail, Crystalfeather lead the she-cat farther between the peaks, sniffing at pebbles by her paws and peeking at ledges in the mountainside. "Surely we'll find prey soon, we can't come back to camp empty-pawed." She turned back to Snowdrift, making sure she was keeping up. "Should we split up? That way we won't scare away any potential prey. We probably frightened some with our chatter on the way here," she chuckled at the last sentence.-- Avalanchepaw Avalanchepaw laughed at Harepaw's humor, covering his mouth with a massive paw to make sure he didn't make much noise.
"I like that idea. To trick the kits, I mean." He thought about her plan, and how they would execute it. "I would like to think I'm stealthy in a few areas. Maybe I could go and act as though I need something from the medicine den, and go to Glittering Pass that way?" The tom got up, flexing his claws in and out in excitement. "Do you want to do it now? I saw Newtspeck and Tundrastar speaking about something that seemed very important earlier. I could sneak past them, and you could cover me. Distract the kits, maybe?"

(Starters, woo!)
In the clan's cave camp, where the warmest air on the mountain peak was pooled and supplied by the warm bodies that lived in it, Flurrywhisker moped loudly to himself, with his long neck bent down, his face pointed a little forward and crying without tears in a very ugly expression. His fluffy leaf-bare coat was growing in over his already thick fur and was patchy and dirty, like he hadn't touched it in a few sunrises. Usually he was out, trying to show off and get attention, or complaining about the lack of prey, but even though he was known to be very dramatic this seemed a little bit much even for him. Somewhere deep down he was genuinely devastated, but would never be able to express why or how. They had lost many cats in the flood, what felt like too many to count, but the one that had hit him the most was his best, and maybe only friend. This thought seemed to just bring a new bout of grief rolling over the tall grey tom and he started up sobbing again.
Grousefur meanwhile lolled about, inspecting the water stains stretching up the cavern walls, as well as how they had become after the flood, before draining out or freezing over in a thin sheet and in crisp pools because of the weather (which was in a way that only Summitclan cats could detect, warmer than usual). She heaved a mighty, quiet sigh, trying to shake out the odd prickling sensation in her fur that the mood of the clan was bringing her. She was never very good at understanding emotions and feelings the same way as others, and recent events made keeping up with it all harder, along with her unreliable memory. Unusual for her lineage, she also had noticeably less fur, although very scruffy, and felt very chilly as usual. Maybe someone would like to share tongues with me? She wondered, easily eyeing up some of the biggest cats in camp and twitching her nose curiously. Stretching her slightly 'chubby' body with a tiny tremble, the tabby she-cat approached whoever was in her general line of sight with a quiet purr, her yellow irises appearing glowing through contently squinted eyes. "Hi." She rumbled, unsure if she actually knew who she was talking to, she didn't really remember.

- Snowdrift - Snowdrift's tail tip flicked across the snow. "You understand, then? I just feel so conflicted about... about it all. Whether we should stay in the mountains, the flood... I haven't felt this way before." She sighed, looking around at the snow around her. "We've adapted, but that doesn't mean we're invincible. What will it take to wipe us all out? The flood's already almost destroyed us. No one will..." She took a deep breath. "Will know we've ever been here." Her tail flicked over the freeze around her. "It scares me. I don't want to be forgotten."
She flicked her ear. "Gosh, I'm sorry. I just needed to vent. I'm sure things will be fine." She turned to the mountains around her. She tried smelling for prey again. "Anything to get the apprentices to train, hah." She looked at the higher peaks. "We should probably split up, the kits need to eat." She shifted her head. "Maybe one of us can go higher and one lower? Then we can see if we can track any prey from any height."
- Harepaw - Harepaw's eyes widened at Avalanche's laugh and she began chuckling again. It must've been contagious. She nodded. "I knew it would be a good idea." She half-grinned while she listened to his idea. Something to do, to plan, at last. "Yeah, sounds good. I can distract Newtspeck if he wanders by the den while you're gone." She erupted in her best mock wail, "Newtspeck! My paw! My tail! My head! Ooohh, I'm dying!..." She slumped over onto her side. She got up, shaking specks of moss out of her pelt. "Sound good? Probably not that dramatic, though."
"I think now would be a good time. I just have to make sure no one heard us planning." She poked her head outside the apprentice den, the frigid air stinging her eyes. She looked around, but truth be told she wasn't being that observant. She poked her head back in, shrugging. "I don't think anyone is. What types of gems should we get?" She chattered, excitement coursing through her for the first time since the flood.
