(is RotFlesh gonna attack Viperpaw or is Blackbird gonna talk before he does?) (Whatever you all want. I’m going to be very inactive this weekend so I likely won’t reply to any rp until Sunday or later.)

( that's fine, I generally don't care so I guess it's up to raven on weather or not she wants to attack)

"Yes," Viperpaw agreed, "I want to learn as much as possible, and become a well-known fighter. I will admit I am not the best in battle, as I showed you before I have already put much thought into my starting stance, but I havn't gotten many chances to think about battle moves, of course I know the basic swipe, rolling to dodge, etc.. but I don't now much more," Viperpaw paused, the sent in the air was certainly stronger then before, and it did have the tint of cat in it, but BlackBird gave no hint in her voice that there was another cat, "Thanks to my mother she only thought it was important to hunt," she said bitterly, "She said, 'Fighting you can run away from, hunger is inescapable' hah, I think thanks to her little phrase there, she died, my mother said many odd things, another one was, 'if you've eaten in the past twelve days, your not starving.' She was definetly an odd one." Rotflesh watched them talk for a moment, his tail lashing back and forth before pouncing on Viperpaw and attempting to pin them for a second while relishing the look of tenseness that the she-cat had displayed, and then releasing them and sitting down on his hind quarters. His bright amber eyes were full of snideness as he sneered down at the apprentice. “Watch where you’re going.” It was a complete and utter lie of course, but Rotflesh enjoyed telling lies.

Blackbird watched leisurely, seeming to eye Rotflesh with a hint of snark as she mused. “Sneaking about again are you, Rotflesh? Come now, I’m trying to help my new friend.” She scolded.

Surely there are more important things to do than chat with almost kits.” He stood up with his nose held high. “And there’s nothing wrong with sneaking around. That much I can teach you, kit.”

Viperpaw narrowed her eyes but said nothing, in her mind she was already noting down things about this cat, He likes to have the upper hand, and he prefers to attack weaker cats, so why don't I become one? Viperpaw crouched down, acting fearful and small, she was tense, and had a clear veiw of his neck and chin, and if he glared down at her she might even manage to hit his nose. Her battle stance was ready, and she could tell he was already falling for it, RotFlesh, as BlackBird called him, was less tense, and if he were to attack her his first move wouldn't be that hard to counter. To Viperpaw's pleasure, he glared down at her. As fast as a viper itself she lunged for his nose, hitting it hard with claws shethed, then as she fell and hit the ground Viperpaw was just under his chin, so she jumped back up and her skull forced his chin upwards, then Viperpaw leaped away and stared at him, ready for a counter or for BlackBird to step in, "Kit you say?" she hissed.

"An almost kit who can make a fool out of you." Blackbird watched with amusement, humored by Viperpaw's temper and retaliation against the powerful Riverclan tom. She swished her long tail, eyes gleaming with a hint of impatience as she scoffed. "Either you show Viperpaw some battle techniques or you leave her to me. One might think you fancy me, with how often you come around." She mused, even though she was loyal to her own mate. It never hurt to flirt a bit, after all.

“Oh good heavens no. What sorry tom could like you? Ah well. At least one found you attractive, although no particular traits come to mind.” He glared at Viperpaw, before pouncing and giving her a sharp cuffing around the ears with a hiss. “As for you, keep your sorry pelt out of my sight or you’ll find a worse fate than a cuffing.” Then he turned around, tail held high as he disappeared into some brush.

(so sorry yall, this poofed off my list)
Viperpaw let out a hiss, "Fox-hearted little-" she caught herself and turned back to BlakBird, "Moving on from that little erm- incident, what should we practice first?" Her flattened ears rose and her grumpy expresion turned emotionless while waiting for further instructions from BlackBird.

Blackbird watched Rotflesh go with a small sneer of her teeth, before she huffed a deep laugh and looked back at Viperpaw. "You already passed the test, so that makes my job much easier. If you can prepare for ambushes, you'll be in good shape against enemies in battle, especially Shadowclan cats. But, Rotflesh was a Riverclan cat. That's why he's in such a strong shape." She explained, before she scoffed. "But the bigger they are, the more satisfying to topple over. We won't be pushing too hard tonight, lest you become too tired to train while awake." She reminded.

( Moonblazer) "I know," Viperpaw replied, keeping the same expression, "My mother warned me about that, she said if I smell an unfamilar cat sent to tense, and be ready for attack. Sometimes she didn't give the worst advice," Viperpaw looked around, checking again that no others stalking her, there were a few pairs of watching eyes, but none that made it seem they wanted to attack , just curious. "Should we practice anything in perticular?"

Suddenly she felt something nudged her, but when she looked to her side there was nothing, she grunted, "Looks like our little meet up will have to be shortened, goodbye BlackBird, I hope to train with you sometime soon," she dipped her head and her vision faded back to the apprentice den.

Pinekit opened his eyes and got to his paws, "Stormfury? Are you here?"
Lilyleaf slipped out of her hiding spot, smiling sickly sweet at her newest project. "My dear Pinekit, I'm sorry but your father's not here right now."
Pinekit frowned, padding over to the she-cat to press against her leg. "But you told me this was Starclan, why isn't he here?"
Lilyleaf shook her head, settling down and pulling the kit to her side, "Here's here I promise, but you know he was from Windclan originally right? Well... he's stuck in the Windclan Starclan territory right now. I'm sure we'll find a way to get to him soon. I'll work on it while you're awake okay?"
Pinekit sighed but nodded, Lilyleaf was always so nice to him. He was sure she could figure it out. "Alright, can you tell me another story? My mama is really sad right now."
"Sure little one. Let me tell you about my mentor." Lilyleaf purred, licking his head. This was too easy.

Ambershade watched leisurely from her perch in the dark branches of the pine trees, sharing Lilyleaf’s relishing of how easy it was to manipulate the minds of kits. She remained silent though, not wanting to disrupt Lilyleaf’s progress.

Warblerwind let out a snarl, slashing his claws through an eerily glowing patch of fungus on a nearby tree, plunging the clearing he stood in into deeper shadow. He spent every moment he could asleep, scouring the Dark Forest for any trace of Robinstar's spirit. Once again, he'd come up empty-pawed and frustrated. He sat down heavily, letting his head drop forward to rest against the slimy bark.

He spent every moment he could asleep, scouring the Dark Forest for any trace of Robinstar's spirit. Once again, he'd come up empty-pawed and frustrated. He sat down heavily, letting his head drop forward to rest against the slimy bark. A pair of eyes watched the tom from her perch in a tree, her head tilting with interest. So, this must have been the kin that Robinstar had supposedly started keeping tabs on. Foxrose knew good and well that Spiritstar was dead, seeing as Robinstar’s return to the forest was whispered around every corner. Even so, Foxrose was still in hiding from the others, and still hiding Yarrowcloud’s soul until he was fully recovered and ready to fight back, which was rather soon. Foxrose couldn’t resist the opportunity to stir up chaos though, especially when she could likely help this poor tom too. Yarrowcloud wouldn’t mind company, of a good-hearted cat like himself, certainly? She made her presence known with a quiet cough and a giggle. “Looking for something, Warblerwind?”

Warblerwind was instantly on his paws again, snarling with his pelt bushed out so he looked twice his size, even in his currently underfed state.
"Who's asking? Show yourself," he demanded in a low growl, in no mood for formalities.

Show yourself," he demanded in a low growl, in no mood for formalities. “You’re bigger than me even without the puffing up.” Foxrose humored, slipping out of her hiding spot amongst the dark leaves and poking her head down to the Skyclan tom. She giggled softly. “Shh. Not so loud. I’m not supposed to be seen by the others right now. Which makes this all the more fun. You wouldn’t have heard of me, I’m kind of old. But you might know my daughter, or her kits. In Thunderclan!” She slipped down, tiny and agile, to land before him. “Foxrose. That’s my name.”

"I've had enough of knowing Dark Forest cats," Warblerwind growled nastily. "What makes you think I won't yowl my head off just to ruin your cover? If you tell me where Robinstar is, I'll consider not doing just that." He bared his teeth, the rage burning within him eclipsing his normal personality entirely until only the anger was left.

She whispered. “Whispers around are that she just got back, but I haven’t been close to the others recently. I’m keeping a certain cat’s soul as safe as possible so he can maybe one day be saved. You’re angry, but you don’t have darkness around your heart just yet. Stay too long, and that could change. I can’t take you to Robinstar, I don’t know yet where she’s regrouping her soul, but!!” She smiled playfully, eyes glinting just as Vixenrose’s would have. “I can take you to a friend you can help, and give you other information for your… mm. Mission.” She decided, glancing around. “You’ll get nowhere near the Riverclan Warriors, let alone Robinstar, with how you are now!” She crooned.

He bunched his muscles to spring after this cat, tired of listening to her talk.

It’s in your nature, isn’t it? I suppose I’ll just have to tell my dear Yarrowcloud that we’re out of luck for a new friend. Bye bye!” She waved her tail, before she darted through the leaves in a ginger blur, almost inviting the tom to give chase as she gave him no other information.

Maybe, if he could free him, he could make up for what he'd done. He leapt after Foxrose, chasing her through the shadowy canopy.

Foxrose was nearly silent in her darting, the familiar paths through the dark forest easy for her to follow. She did make one change though, flicking her tail against the foliage just barely to keep him chasing. She smiled to herself, thrilled with the chase, but also relieved that Yarrowcloud would have another familiar face to talk to. His anguish struck her. It was impossible not to be, seeing as he had been such a dear friend when they had grown up together, been apprentices together, everything. Yes, this would be a grand gift. Once she reached the tangled walls of thorns and thistles that began her path to her secret grove, she stood still beside the entrance opening, her muzzle curled with a playful smile as she waited for Warblerwind to approach closer. Waving her tail invitingly, she darted into the opening. Yarrowcloud’s head shot up from his resting spot in the soft black sand of the hollow. He could hear Foxrose’s quiet pawsteps, but more importantly, much louder approaching ones. He bristled, the spirit jumping to his paws and preparing to strike at whoever was threatening or chasing Foxrose.

Splinters of blackened bark showered down from the trees as Warblerwind sailed through them, his paws barely touching one branch before he jumped for another. Despite himself, his blood ran hot with the thrill of racing through the trees, the aching familiarity of it focusing his senses. He half-jumped, half-slithered from the last tree to the forest floor, shouldering his way into the thicket behind Foxrose. His jaws parted for some barbed comment, but he stopped short at the sight before him. Before him stood the spirit of a formidable cat, so different to the elder he'd seen at Gatherings. His mouth opened and closed uselessly, and he found himself struck dumb by the sight of Yarrowcloud restored to his former glory.
