Ducky took a second to collect him self. "Sorry, its nothing." Ducky chcukled softly before heading back to the kitchen. The broken broom clechted in his fist like a tiny sword. Ducky really hated bugs and he had no idea why.

Ducky watched Mira from afar as she caught the small moth. "I think we should shut the door." Ducky gave a small shiver as the moth flew away. At least this event wasnt as bad as the time he stumbled into a small cluster of monarch butterflies, Ducky almost had a heart attack.

Ducky huffed softly. "Im not scared of them, i just don't like them." Ducky glanced back over to the kitchen and hoped there wasnt anymore bugs in there. He didnt want to embarrass himself again.

Autumn smiled. "Yay! I got someone to agree with my ideas to once! And yeah, I did just notice we're pretty much there." She kept on tugging him along, now starting to run to the city, ready to finally burn something that could sustain her more than just a bracelet. "C'mon! Let's hurry up so we can catch some people quickly, then get the heck out!" She babbled.

Ducky quietly padded back into the kitchen to finish cleaning. He still had a sink and a cupboard to clean. He started with the cupboard, dusting off the doors then on the inside. The bare cuboards where easy to clean with nothing to move out or around. But Ducky did find a shiny old penny which he pocketed to show Mira later.

"Its coming pretty good." Ducky called back. He had finished the cupboard and had moved onto the closet with the mouse nest mop. The mouse was rather nice to Ducky as he cleaned around his nest. Not wanting to disturb the small creature.

Autumn looked back at him, her eyes shining with excitement. "Anywhere and everywhere! There's no limit to where you wanna go here!" She seemed more than excited now. "We could just check this street for stuff." She spoke in a lower, more hushed voice, so no one would hear her. Her stomach suddenly growled loudly, causing her to laugh.

Mira opened the door up again, sweeping the dust off the floor and out of the cabin entirely. Once she had finished this task, she set the broom aside and surveyed the entry room. It was like a completely new room now, the largely wooden furniture and floors shining brighter now that the dust was gone. "Maybe now Luke will stop sneezing every thirty minutes," she chuckled to herself. Perhaps he had a dust allergy?
Luke laughed aloud as Autumn's stomach rumbled. "Well, I think we know what the first stop is going to be," he teased light-heartedly. "What do you say we find some rich snob to pickpocket and then grab some food? Maybe we can take some stuff home to the cabin, too." He began to walk down the street, keeping a casual eye out for possible marks or shops that would be useful for stop in. Some new clothes would be nice, for himself and for Mira, since they had both gone a while without replacing their old, torn clothing. Second-hand stores were great for finding nice clothes for dirt-cheap, and if it had a little rip or a stain on it, well, it would fit right in with the rest of their wardrobes.

≫ | Andy | 17 | Nonbinary | Hummingbird | Due to the Andy having hummingbird DNA entwined with their own, they are now more petite than the 'average' 17-year-old, standing tall at 5'0. They are thin, not nearly as muscular, or even just as heavy, as they would like. Their hair is very long and honey blonde in color. It is usually worn up. They have tan skin with freckles splashed across the majority of their skin. Their eyes are dark brown and hidden behind thin framed glasses. Andy usually wears old t-shirts, oversized sweatshirts or sweaters, and jeans. They are almost always sporting boots and dark green military style jacket. Andy is silent, smart, observing, slow to react, at times arrogant in his own knowledge, a bookworm, pretentious, and more often than not, absolutely exhausted. They have no known special powers, but an incredibly fast heart rate, which they think is pretty cool. (Mourningdove)

(Time to introduce... a baby. I hope y'all like her.)
≫ | Sunny | 8 | Female | Bluebird | Standing at a petite 4'10, Sunny obtained her affectionate nickname from her long, wavy golden blond hair and her bright smile. With baby blue eyes and a smattering of freckles across her face, arms, and shoulders, Sunny cas herself with a child-like naivety that only a girl her age could have in her situation. Two shimmering bluebird wings sprout from her back, with long black-tipped feathers. Although Sunny's sense of fashion also falls victim to the lack of money the Flock has, she managies to get by on hand-me-down sundresses, overalls or graphic tee-shirts when the budget is extra tight. She doesn't like to wear shoes, and usually runs around barefoot. As a result, her feet and legs are typically covered in bruises, cuts and scratches from walking barefoot in the woods. Sunny is, as her name implies, an extremely friendly and positive figure within the Flock. Still young and fairly naive thanks to her protective Flock-mates, Sunny's optimism is both infectious and unrealistic, as she doesn't have a solid handle on her situation or how the world works. She's a humble girl, not one to boast or generally talk at all about her talents or achievements, and is incredibly shy when it comes to meeting new people. It takes her a long time to warm up to new friends due to the nature of her upbringing as a lab experiment and the fact that she's only been outside the School for a few months, but once she bonds with someone she really starts to show her goofy and fun personality a lot more. Sunny was raised in the School from birth, and grew to be shy and distrustful as a result of her abuse within it. When she was seven years old, she managed to escape by awakening her latent powers and using them to cause an intense sadness in the scientists, so powerful that they were physically unable to follow her. She walked right out the front door and made it into the nearby woods before collapsing due to the strain of overusing her new powers so quickly after discovering them. She was found and nursed back to health by the Flock after falling unconscious for five consecutive days. Now, she is far more careful about using her powers, and has not managed to recreate anything even close to the power she used to escape. Using her mind, Sunny can invoke an emotional response from a person by amplifying the emotional effects of their memories. Doing this, she can cause someone to reexperience a particularly strong happiness, sadness, fear, or anger, though the extent to which this power works depends on the individual and the memory she chooses to manifest. Sunny cannot read these memories, only sense the emotions they cause. This power, being new and particularly straining on the body, causes her extreme fatigue when she does use it, and she can sometimes faint just from a short burst of using it. (Thunderfur)

Ducky finished up the last of his cleaning, the sink need a wipe down and the window needed one also. Ducky stepped back to admire his work, well kind of he couldn't see the far wall very well but he knew he did a good job. "I'm done in here!" Ducky called out as he walked out of the kitchen and into the living room. "Wow it looks great in here."

(Thanks! I'm excited to play a younger character in this scenario haha)
Mira grinned, nodding acceptingly at the work she'd done as she leaned the broom against the wall. "Yeah, it definitely feels a lot cleaner in here," she agreed. Poking her head into the kitchen, she was pleased to see that it looked to be in a similarly clean state after Ducky's thorough cleaning. "We can clean the bedrooms on our own time, but for now, just getting all the dust out of here makes it feel a little nicer."
Sunny cracked open the door to the girls' bedroom, poking her head out the door. She looked sleepy, her gold-blond hair tangled from sleeping and her blue eyes only half-open. She stifled a yawn as she stepped fully out of the door, rubbing at her eyes with her free hand. "I heard a crash, what's going on?" she asked. Her wings were fully exposed within the cabin, black-tipped bluebird feathers in need of a preening.

Ducky flopped on to the couch. "I can finally breath in here." He joked. Ducky suddenly turned his attention to the creaking door. He couldn't see that far but he could reconize the blurry form of Sunny. "Me and Mira did some cleaning around the cabin." He called over to Sunny. "Sorry if we woke you." Ducky added softly.

Sunny shook her head, closing the bedroom door behind her. "Mm, it's alright. It's late, anyway, I should be up by now," she assured softly, offering Ducky a small smile. She walked over, bare feet tapping against the floor, and sat on the floor in front of Mira, handing the older girl a hairbrush.
Mira plopped down beside Ducky, taking the brush from Sunny and wordlessly beginning to pull it through the young girl's thick golden hair. "Rough night?" she guessed, tone softening. "You only bring me your brush when you're feeling down."

Ducky criss crossed his legs on the couch and lisened to the two girls. His gaze travled back to the ceiling, the dark brown blob of a ceiling. "I found a old vase in the mouse closet maybe we could go pick flowers for it." Ducky suggested softly. Ducky really didnt like picking flowers to many butterflies and bugs but Ducky knew picking flowers could bring someones spirits up.

"It was just some nightmares-" Sunny began, but she stopped when she heard Ducky's mention of the vase. "Flowers?" she echoed, baby blue eyes lighting up at the thought. A broad smile broke on her face as she turned excitedly to Ducky, tearing her freshly-brushed hair from Mira's flimsy grasp as she did. "Can we really go pick some flowers? It's so bland and boring in this house, flowers would look so pretty!" she exclaimed, ready to bolt at the first sign of affirmation.
Mira huffed in slight frustration, but it was hard to stay annoyed when Sunny looked to excited. It would seem her fears from the night before were gone, at least for the time being. "Well, it would definitely be good to get out of this stuffy cabin for a bit," she hummed, glancing to Ducky to see what he thought of the idea.

Ducky got to his feet. "Lets go! The other day i saw a large field of flowers west of here." Finally Ducky was going to get out of this cabin and go on a small adventure they may even stumble upone a old radio or somthing nice like that. "Let me grab the vase maybe we could bring it will us to keep the flowers in." With that Ducky padded over to the kitchen and grabbed the small blue vase from the closet and returned to the living room. "Lets go!"

Sunny hopped to her feet in an instant, a hop in her step. "Alright! We're gonna have an adventure!" she exclaimed in excitement, bluebird wings quivering with the desire to fly.
Mira chuckled, pushing herself to her feet and setting the hairbrush on the table. "Alright, alright, but we should stay close to the cabin, at least," she said, a stern edge to her voice that dared anyone to argue with her. "Luke and Autumn went out to town today, and we don't want to leave the cabin too unprotected while we're gone."

Ducky nodded. "Alright!" Ducky opened the old creaky door and stepped out into the brilliant sun shine. Ducky ruffled his wings before pointing west. "The field is that way. Sunny do you want to hold the vase?" Ducky asked softly.

Autumn nodded, hopping up and down a few times. "Yeah! I like that idea! We should probably pickpocket money for food for the cabin too. This way, we won't have to go out as much. Besides, Mira would probably approve of it anyway, and right now, that's what we need to do to be on her good side." She began searching the sidewalks for people who looked rich. She gently elbows Luke, and points towards a tall, dark man dressed like he was going to the richest party there was.
