Berrystorm & Badgerheart with Juniperfoot, Tawnyfur, Shadowfrost & Bumblepaw
Hearing Juniperfoot's story, Berrystorm immediately frizzed up. She'd made a mistake! "Oh Juniperfoot I'm so sorry!" she exclaimed as she frantically wrapped herself around the older she-cat. She hadn't meant to bring up bad memories.
Badgerheart's eyes widened for a moment before he closed them. Losing his own kits was hard enough, he could never imagine the cat who gave birth having to leave her babies behind. Not only that, she'd lost the trust of her clan. This was truly a strong cat to continue on with her life and make a new way for herself.
Mothpaw with Sootfang, Blossomtail & Doeshine
Following his mentor's actions Mothpaw smiled at the queens, though his was less confident. Seemed his nerves were finally getting the better of him. "Ah, well you see I ran away from my Twolegs after..." He looked over to Sootfang. He knew these cats needed to know, it wasn't guidance that he was seeking so much as reassurance. He needed to know everything would be ok after he told them. But after staring at the cat who practically saved him, his worries were dissolved. Even if no one else wanted him, this was a cat that would be there to help him. "After they declawed me. Soot here was the first cat I ran into, and instead of shredding me he took me out here to find you guys," the young cat explained.
Jasminestar with Piketooth
Smiling, Jasminestar flicked their tail. "Last I saw it was in the nursery, I'll help you out. Probably about time we all get our nests built anyway," they said as they led the way to the cat-made den.
((Buzzed and thinking soon should be good for Tawny to begin kitting))

((Yea I think we'll just say everyone is sleeping? That way it gives us a better idea on where all the cats are when Tawnyfur starts screaming bloody murder))

((We can skip ^^" But I wanna do this first >.>))
Doeshine
Doeshine blinked at the young tom, glancing down at his paws. Her fur puffed out and she stretched out her paws to him, long legs easily reaching across the distance as she scowled fiercely. "Oh you poor thing," She meowed, tugging him to her and snuggling him into her dense fur, "I can't believe those awful two-legs. Oh, if I could just get my teeth into those rotten flea-brained maggots, I'd show them a thing or two. Don't you worry, you'll be safe here and I've seen some street cats just as fierce without their claws. You'll do well, I'm sure of it." Soft and soothing as her voice was, Doeshine was nearly snarling as her fur bristled. Forgetting to feed a cat was one thing, but to permanently remove such an important part of a cat. Oh, she could shred those rats and still not be satisfied they'd been repaid for the atrocious act.
Shadowfrost
Shadowfrost's purr was rusty and underused, but he let the soothing sound rumble from his chest in sympathy. He was sure he had kits out there himself and wished he had ever met them, but it was different as a street cat. Not to mention as a tom. "I'm sorry," He rasped, touching his tail hesitantly to Juniperfoot's shoulder, "That you had to go through that. It seems a harsh law and I'd hate for SnakeClan to have the same one. Perhaps, if we are to live under the same code, then we can suggest an amendment so that such a thing never happens here."

BLOSSOMTAIL + SOOTFANG "That's terrible! Oh, you poor dear," she exclaimed, her eyes widening in a mixture of shock and horror as she stared at Mothpaw. How could twolegs be so needlessly cruel? And to such a young and promising cat as well, for shame! "Don't you worry about a thing, Mothpaw, you'll be safe with us," she soothed, "and I have no doubt that you'll make a fine warrior even without claws." Blossomtail looked up at Sootfang, wanting to gauge his reaction to Mothpaw's words, and was surprised to see no shock or uncertainty there whatsoever. Ah, he must have already known. "If those horrid twolegs ever set paw anywhere close to our camp, I'll shred them myself," she declared, lifting her chin pointedly.
"I won't be far behind you," Sootfang agreed with a nod, making brief eye contact with the queens. The grey tom reached out with his tail to touch Mothpaw on the shoulder; he was proud of the young tom - his apprentice now - for finding the courage to reveal his secret to the queens. He was glad that Doeshine and Blossomtail were immediately so accepting of Mothpaw. Perhaps Clan life is shaping up to be more promising than I thought.
PIKETOOTH The old tom shook his head. "Nah, don't you go making a fuss over me, yeah?" Piketooth gave his leader a friendly nudge and lowered his head to pick up some of the moss between his teeth. "But thankye kindly for the offer, young'un," he rumbled, his voice muffled by the moss in his jaws.

-- Soon the festivities were over. The moon was past being high and the newly formed clan settled in to their nests. A light breeze passed by, ruffling ferns and the fur of any cat sleeping in the open. All seemed peaceful, even with the light snoring of Berrystorm. --

As a light sleeper, Badgerheart had posted himself near the nursery to rest. A tattered ear twitched as someone stirred from their nest. The tom groggily sat up and poked his head in, letting his eyes adjust to the dark before scanning to see what the problem was. "Tawnyfur?" he whispered when he realized the cat in question had no light fur to reflect moonlight. "What is it?" Did he need to fetch Lilyfern so soon?

With a nod Badgerheart bolted off to the large tree the medicine cats had made their den. He'd been careful not to step on anyone on the way over, though he'd gone fast enough to kick dirt and grass in his wake. "Lilyfern, I think Tawnyfur's kits are ready," he meowed, trying to not wake the clan but hoping the spotted cat would hear him.

Lilyfern
Lilyfern blinked the sleep rapidly from her eyes as Badgerheart's voice roused her from her dreams. "Already?" She meowed, startled, "Palepaw, get up! We have work to do." She nudged her new Apprentice gently, before slipping over to the corner where sh was temporarily storing her herbs until they dug out separate storage for them all. She grabbed one of the large Dock leaves she had, quickly filling it with Cobwebs, Raspberry Leaves, a Juniper Berry and a sturdy stick.
Leaving it for a moment, she grabbed a large wad of moss and took it to Badgerheart. "Here," She mewed, setting it down, "Take this to the stream and soak it please, Tawnyfur will need the fresh water. And wake Jasminestar on the way, would you? She'll want to know about this." She returned to her bundle and mrrowed to Palepaw, "The Nursery, as soon as possible." Nodding to both toms, she was past Baderheart and away in moments, slipping into the Nursery seconds later. "Hello Tawnyfur," She purred, keeping her voice low and soothing. She didn't bother trying not to wake the other Queens though, Tawnyfur would likely do that anyway as the whole thing progressed. "Well, this was a bit of a shock. Still nothing we can't handle," Lilyfern set her bundle down beside Tawnyfur and gently pressed her paws to the Queen's side, "How are you feeling so far?"

Lilyfern
"Easy, Tawnyfur," Lilyfern tried to soothe her, humming in the back of her throat as the contractions rippled under her paws. The young Queen was definitely kitting, that was for sure. "Everything's going to be fine," She meowed gently, opening her bundle and deftly picking out the Raspberry leaves she had stashed in there, "Here, eat this." She set the green jagged-edged leaves down for Tawnyfur to eat. "These are Raspberry Leaves. You must chew them up and swallow them," She explained softly, trying to distract the Queen a little, "They will ease some of the pain you're feeling. It will still be painful, but give these a short while to work and they will at least bring it down to a manageable level." She carefully didn't mention they would also stop the young Queen from bleeding too much. She didn't want to scare her. Movement in the corner of her eyes made her aware of a lean, thick-furred shape approaching. She ignored the other Queen, tending to her herbs and monitoring Tawnyfur carefully.
Doeshine
Doeshine woke gently from her sleep at first, the soft murmur of voices tugging her from her dreams. It wasn't until there was a scared, familiar voice that she woke fully. The Queen shook off her sleep and got to her paws, padding gently over as Lilyfern described some sort of leaf. "Well, that would have been handy when I had Foxwhisper," She meowed softly, not wanting to startle Tawnyfur. Doeshine assessed the young she-cat, eyes glancing over her terrified face before moving closer, offering her support but ready to leave if it seemed Tawnyfur didn't want anyone near her.

With his orders given, Badgerheart picked up the ball of moss and moved to the creek. The already convenient placing of the water was such a blessing and he thought this place might've truly been made for them. The large tom wove through the camp, hoping to not wake anyone aside from the leader. Unfortunately he found the task a little more difficult when he got closer and noticed Berrystorm had buried herself in the cat's fluff. Tiptoeing as best as he could, the bi-colored tom put himself next to Jasminestar's open side and prodded them a little roughly.
At the extra hard feeling near their ribs, Jasminestar's eyes popped open. Seeing the familiar silhouette over them, the mottled cat took a calming breath. They weren't given time to question anything, Badgerheart was already nudging them up. "Kits," he mumbled around the wet moss. Green eyes now very wide at the realization, they jumped to their paws. "They sure know when to make an entrance. Here I'll take the water, it's going to get cramped in there fast if we both go."
Understanding, Badgerheart set the ball down and dipped his head. "Wish her luck for me," he meowed quietly before settling down next to Berrystorm. The warrior had stirred a little when her 'nest' moved, but he hoped he could be a decent substitute and keep the excitable she-cat asleep for as long as possible.
---
Moss in tow, Jasminestar rushed to the nursery and slowed only enough to make sure they made their presence known. No sense in startling poor Tawnyfur, or anyone else for that matter. They made their way to the young queen and set the moss by gingerly by her head before taking a small step back to sit. Then the quiet assessment of the area began. They'd been around very few kittings and even then they were too young to help back then. Maybe they wanted me here for moral support.

Lilyfern
"Oh, thank you, Jasminestar," Lilyfern purred, nosing the soaked moss closer to Tawnyfur, "Drink up if you need to. This is likely going to take a while and it'll be better if you aren't dehydrated. Let us know if you get hungry and we'll send for someone to fetch you prey." Sighing, she turned to smile tiredly at Jasminestar. "I thought you'd like to be here for the birth of the first kits into SnakeClan," She murmured, tail sweeping placidly as she kept a careful eye on Tawnyfur, "It's exciting, though I wish they'd waited a few days so we could get some Fennel to make it a little easier on her. Still, kits will come when they wish and we'll have to make the best of it." The Medicine Cat nosed through her bundle, grabbing the stick she had brought with her and setting it beside Tawnyfur. "If the pain gets too intense, bite down on this," She instructed softly, returning her paws to Tawnyfur's side, pressing ever so gently to try and feel where the kits were.
Doeshine
Doeshine hummed as Tawnyfur seemed to take comfort in her presence and settled down beside the kitting Queen, pressing her side against Tawnyfur to lend her warmth and comfort. She locked eyes with Lilyfern as the younger she-cat bustled around making sure Tawnyfur had everything she needed, before shaking her head and smiling at Jasminestar. The was excitement and worry in her gaze as it flickered down to the young Queen, but she quickly pushed both emotions down in favour of the calm she tried to live by. "I was young when I had Oliver, you know," She purred, trying to distract Tawnyfur from her pain once Lilyfern had moved back to monitoring the situation, "Not quite as young as you, but at 19 Moons I was still pretty young for a Queen. I was terrified. Like most kittypets I was taken from my mother just after my second Moon and, while I had my housefolk, it wasn't quite the same. What did I know about raising a kit?"
Doeshine's smile was wry and wistful as she remembered her first kitting. "I was lucky, you know. Despite it. My first housefolk were good to me and stayed nearby in case I needed anything, so I didn't feel alone," There was a small huff of breath, sad and wonderous all at once, "But when I saw Oliver's - Foxwhisper's - face for the first time. Heard him squeak and mew for me? The fear, the panic? It was worth it, Tawnyfur, it is worth it. You'll get through this and with an entire Clan behind you. Protecting you and your kits with their lives. And I don't doubt many of them willing to tell a few stories and entertain them if you get overwhelmed." She drew her tongue over the top of Tawnyfur's head, grooming her gently as she once did when Foxwhisper had bad dreams.

Lilyfern
Lilyfern was on the kit the instant it was born, nipping the sac and starting to clean the large tom. It wasn't long before she was carrying him over to Tawnyfur's belly. He squeaked as she set him down, immediately trying to wiggle and find milk. 'If she doesn't produce, I'll have to fetch her some Borage, see if it helps,' Her nose wrinkled in worry for a brief second, before shaking her head. There was no use inviting trouble. Either Tawnyfur needed it or she didn't. "Here we go," She purred soothingly, "The first kit born into Snakeclan and it's a tom." She nudged her kit a little closer, before grabbing the Juniper Berry from her stash. "Here Tawnyfur," She urged the Queen, "Eat this. It will give you strength." Something she seemed to need.

As Doeshine did her best to reassure the younger queen about motherhood, Jasminestar turned their attention to her as well. There was a warmth they felt when the creamy she-cat spoke about the clan helping Tawnyfur with her kits. It was a little stronger than the one they normally felt being around her.
Digging their claws into the ground, Jasminestar sat by and watched curiously as Tawnyfur brought four small bundles into the world. It was an amazing and grotesque at the same time and the cat couldn't look away. Green eyes shone brighter with every kit. By the end they were beaming at the first clan-born litter and grateful that Lilyfern had thought to include them. "They wonderful," the leader murmured before bending down to gently licked between the queen's ears. "How are you feeling?"
