Almost finished Merc Storia: Mukiryoku no Shounen to Bin no Naka no Shoujo and the thing I came away with most was that it has fantastic ost and fantastic monster designs lol This song is a bop and I wish we had a full version lakdjflkad

I consistently forget to reply here aldkfjaldkfj I've never seen Wolf Child cause I know it's kinda sad XD Very rarely do I go into an anime that I know is sad. Unless it's like Banana Fish or something that I know for a fact will destroy me and I'm just a fool that still decides to watch it.

I'm assuming fav characters but I'll divulge into more- Killua's definitely my favorite from HxH, I've always been into the "edgy" sort of thing so his character really stuck out to me. Cool powers and his chemistry with Gon was so much fun. I think the Ant arc and Greed Island were definitely my favorites. Also gotta give props to Bisky, she's great. RIP the manga though, I wish Togashi would keep going with it. One Piece i'm caught up with the manga and anime (ep 1000 soon!) and I'm definitely a Zoro guy. OP is relatively new to me since I binged the manga during quarantine and started watching the anime during Wano. Skypiea is probably my favorite arc there, but Wano is definitely up there for me. I haven't seen any of the anime prior to Wano btw. What about you? |

Oooo Killua is absolutely my favorite to! Love those cat coded characters lol. I really like his dedication to the people he loves, like his sister and Gon. He's a very good boi. Bisky is awesome!! I do love Leorio and Kurapika as well, but we don't get to see nearly as much of them. Greed Island is my favorite arc as well! And while I do wish Togashi would continue the manga, I know his health is poor and he might just not be able to. I hope he feels better eventually.
ZORO YES. I love Zoro a whole lot! Honestly the entire main crew is so likeable. If I had to choose a favorite character, I'd probably go for Robin :3 Sanji, while a dirty rat bastard (affectionate), is another fav of mine. As for a favorite arc... I really enjoyed Thriller Bark, Water 7, and Skypiea!

Have you seen any of Yu Yu Hakusho? I gave it a watch a few months back and it holds up pretty well. Dark Tournament arc definitely sorta set the standard for what Togashi would do with HxH later on. Level E was that other thing he did but I wasn't too into that.

I watched a bit of it, but ended up dropping it. I totally need to give it another shot, but I haven't had the chance lkajdfkdjf There are so many anime airing, and even more in my plan to watch list I haven't gotten back around to it haha The memes tho, absolutely great. I don't watch dubs, but this scene makes me cackle every time:

Yeah the YYH dub has some really funny stuff, this one in particular is a classic
I've got a few airing shows going right now, Mushoku Tensei and Mieruko-Chan being my two big ones for this season. I'll DM my MAL over since I've got it set to private at the moment.

Sdujfsdh that whole ass speech, murder, and then "orange juice over ice" I love it. There area few dubs that absolutely catch, or improve on the energy of the originals. OHSHC, Ghost Stories, and YYH all seem to have fun dubs lol

I'm not huge about dubs honestly, I like the Dragon Ball (series) dub and the Gurren Lagann dub is really good but I typically stick to Japan dubbing.

That and Japanese dubbing work is just so much better than English. It's difficult to get used to but I find that the voices feel much more genuine in Japanese than in English. Nothing wrong with a good dub though (just rare for me to see).
