Yay!! Boop!!! I'm so glad you like it!!!! It won't win, but that doesn't mean it wasn't a fantastic anime. It's extremely underrated. What did you think of the time skip towards the end? |

True that. And hey, ya know one thing (of the many incredible things) this anime did that's on my mind right now? It literally answered that question we've all been thinking (Planet With WHAT?) without even explicitly saying it. Without even ASKING it! Gah, the show is so DEEP and yet still rather easy to follow and understand!! I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!!!!! As for the time skip...well, when it became obvious they were gonna do it at the end of episode 10 my gut reaction was concern - time skips always for some reason make me really uncomfortable. But Planet With had treated me so well so far, so I had faith in it. And it didn't disappoint! The time skip wasn't too jarring at all! The only real changes other than technological advances (which, I mean, if you got into Planet With in the first place then you're already used to all of the out-of-the-ordinary stuff there) were the appearances of the characters. And while some of the final character designs weren't particularly attractive (coughcough benika and yosuke), most of the designs (i.e. the ones that COUNT - particularly Soya) were agreeable to end the series with. I felt like I was rooting for the same characters, even though they looked a bit different.
EDIT: further on that note, I feel like if I had walked away after episode 10 to watch the rest later, I probably wouldn't have been as comfortable with it. Idk, just how I am. But because I sat down and watched the last 3 episodes all in one sitting, it feels better. More complete, I guess idk lol |

Wait...Planet With WHAT?! I never understood the answer to that question, and if the show does answer it then I never noticed. I'm so dumb ;-; (can you tell me what it is?) Even though they showed the time skip at the very end of episode 10, I was still kind of bewildered. But it wasn't too overwhelming, and they did a good job of filling in what happened over the years. It was a bit to digest but still ended up being interesting overall. Takagahara's new hairstyle looked a little weird to me, but I liked Soya's new appearance. And of course, Nezuya hadn't changed a bit so I was really happy about that lol. That ending had me crying. It was just so, like...wholesome???!!! Like, how the dragon was that Paradise Guy's little brother, and that was why he appeared to look like Soya's big brother in his eyes! Because he actually was a big brother! And when the team got trapped in Subspace, and they all had their final words with the dragon...and there was just...so much acceptance? And forgiveness? And Rashaverak's little speech? Ugh, it was all just...so good ;-; Sorry I'm gushing so much. I love Soya. I love Ginko. I love Sensei. I love everyone ;-;  Also, the very end where they ended up back on Sirius, and they saw the little flower blooming in that wasteland...I just...tears ;-; Happy tears. Behold, the universe is filled with blessings. |

Planet With Love  I love how everything was wrapped up in a neat little bow, too. It just feels so GOOD. When everything comes back full-circle and the lessons the character's have been learning this entire time MEAN something,,, it warms my heart. God this show is amazing. Please add this to my favorite anime list. |

That makes so much sense  Gah I should have known. And no problem, I'll add it right away. Okay so, I know that the dragon should have had a chance to learn his lesson. And Generalissimo learned that the races should be encouraged to evolve through love rather than being sealed forever. Torai had to overcome the loss of his mother who died in a fire, and Benika had to get past the death of her detective partner who is also Yosuke's brother. Are there any other character lessons that I'm missing? I don't quite remember what Soya's conflict was, other than the fact that his entire race died along with his brother. I mean, I know that he eventually had to accept that and overcome it, like he did when he was put into that dream where he was in Sirius and his brother was still alive. Maybe that was it. |

On another note, I haven't gotten into Persona 5, but looking at this it seems this is RIGHT up my alley. Does anyone know if you have to have seen the other Personas to get into this??

I LOVE the Persona games!! You don't need to have played the other games, or seen the other anime to appreciate Persona 5. Out of all the games I've played, 5 has been my favorite. I'd highly suggest it. The anime, compared to the game is a bit lackluster but still fine if you want to get the general idea.

I think that's for the best. I've played the game three times through tho so I'm a bit biased haha It's really pretty and has fun game play. I like JRPGs and I wasted a week just playing is constantly so I could finish.
