Omg now that you mention it, I probably did notice at the time but just had fuzzy memories about it since I don't pay that much attention to CG unless it's super jarring (I'm looking at you, Golden Kamuy and whatever was the name of that robot old man anime made by MAPPA)

We both know that Planet With has really jarring CG too, but is definitely worth putting up with for the amazing story.

Ah yes I had considered mentioning Planet With, but tbh I don't think it's the CG that's jarring in it (well, given I've only seen two episodes so far), but rather just that the robots' designs themselves are strange to me. Eh, I've never been a big fan of mecha type stuff but I really liked what I've seen so far which is why I'm ignoring the robots and enjoying the story for what it is. Which you've mentioned is...awesome. And apparently not what I'll be expecting.

The fall season for anime is over half-way through and I'm only just finishing the summer season. In a way though, that's probably a good thing.

Oh my gosh, really? Welp. But I thought this new season dealt with the same thing? Or at least, it has guns in it. I don't even know, haven't seen anything since the first season of SAO, however many years ago that was. |
