Aspenfall felt tears swell up in her eyes at his words and let out a soft whimper, pressing her head against his shoulder once more. "Thank you Cedarbristle.. Thank you. This means more to me than you know." she whispered before turning to run to Copperpelt. She heard a raspy, twisted voice behind her and felt her blood run cold. Dimly she could hear Copperpelt's call and felt him slam into her. The air whooshed out of her and she came to a stop in the middle of the clearing. "I love you.." She felt her blood run cold and then a strangled scream escaped her as her world shattered. Blood and Copperpelt and Cedarpaw, but Cedarpaw was dead. Her mind could not comprehend what was happening so instead she just screamed until she could scream no more.
Eclipselight followed after Foxstar but paused as a bloodcurtling scream echoed in the forest and camp. Hunger pulsed through her and she sped up, her speed only hindered by her paw.

Flamestep jerked awake as the scream was heard and fumbled to his paws, nearly falling over onto Ambershine. "Whats happening? What's going on?" he slurred out, glancing over at the snowy she cat in confusion.

Ambershine jumped at the ear splitting scream. She looked at Flamestep and shook her head, "I don't know... Want to go find out? Or should we stay here?" she asked, confused, and worried.

Flamestep could still hear the screams going on and his tail bushed out in shock. "I-I think we should check it out. It seems like it could be serious." He told her quietly, trying to shake off his suddens surge of fear.

Cloverstripes leaves the Warriors den and looks around for the source. She worried that something happened to her kittens!

Cederbristle watched Copperpelt crumple to the ground with horror, his pelt bristling. Scrambling to his paws, Cederbristle positioned himself between Ceaderpaw and Aspenfall. "What are you doing?" The tom's voice was a snarl and he steadied himself, he knew he wouldn't be able to do much, but he wasn't going to go down easily, "Aspenfall, go! Get help! See you in StarClan." Cederbristle was terrified, but he flashed her a comforting smile before turning back to the threat, his claws unsheathing.

Raindapple's ears pricked as she heard the scream, dashing out of the warrior's den her eyes wide. "Great StarClan! What was that?" She scented the air, the rain covered most of the smells, but there was something that stood out, the overwhelming metallic tang of blood. Her pelt prickled, something was very wrong. "Blood... Someone's injured! Let's go!"
Pebblepaw flinched as the scream split the air, curling into a tighter ball. She needed to get out, the forest, she needed to breathe. Shaking the moss from her pelt, Pebblepaw slipped out through the back of the Apprentice's den and dashed out into the forest, the opposite direction of the scuffle, her chest heaving as she ran. The forest was usually her safe space, but today it felt different... darker.

"NO! No! Don't leave me too!" Aspenfall cried out, shaking as she tried to rise to her paws. Copperpelt.. He was gone. He can't be gone! She let out a whimper and rushed to the fallen tom's side. "Help! Lakesong! Sablepaw! Meg! Anyone!"
Eclipselight's eyes glowed as Pebblepaw rushed out of camp and a bloodthirsty grin crossed her face. "Pebblepaw" She rasped out, her voice dark and twisted. It was different than her normal low, smooth tones and was filled with bloodlust. Changing her direction to intercept the young apprentice, the turned warrior sped up.

Ambershine nodded and got to her feet, groaning as her leg stretched painfully. She crept out of the den, ears perked as she looked around.

Pebblepaw's fur bristled as she heard her name behind her, she didn't recognize the voice. Whipping around, she saw Eclipselight chasing after here with a mangled paw. "What are you doing?" She kept backing up, her eyes wide with fear.
Cederbristlegrowled in frustration, "Aspen!" He moved once more between Aspenfall and Ceaderpaw, wincing from the pain in his leg. "Ceaderpaw, I have the feeling you aren't here to deliver any prophecies from StarClan."

Snakeheart did the smart thing and stayed in the Warriors den. There was a bloody storm outside! He grumbled as he thought about going back to sleep.
Eagletalon wasn't sure what was going on. He heard voices all around him but due to the storm, he couldn't see them!

Copperpelt soon started to move and get up, head tilted to the side with eyes widen in a blank stare. Blood matted his neck area where the muscles showed and he seemed not himself. "Join me Aspen...." He croaked in an almost pleading tone as he wobbled towards her.
Foxstar had went after Bearclaw who fought back fiercely.
Cedarpaw tilted her head at Cedarbristle and felt like attacking him when a loud gasp came from across the camp. Lionfang stared in amazement at the sight of his sister and slowly walked forward. "Cedarpaw?" He asked softly with tears falling now. "Cedarpaw I missed you!" He ran forward to embrace her.

Seeing Ceaderpaw distracted and noticing Copperpelt moving slowly towards Aspenfall, Ceaderbristle growled, yelping in pain as he lept towards Cooperpelt doing his best to tackle the tom sideways. "Get off of her."

Flamestep waited for Ambershine to move before his blood turned to ice as he watched what was going on in camp. "Dear StarClan! Is.. Is that Cedarpaw?" he choked out, looking back at Ambershine with wide, scared eyes.
"Food." Eclipselight rasped out, thick, heavy drool escaping from her jaws. Her clouded eyes gleamed with hunger and excitement, causing the turned warrior to dash forward suddenly.
Aspenfall's blood ran cold at the voice and scrambled away from the tom, the tears drying up in horror. "Cedarbristle! What's happening?!" she cried out, fear thick in her voice. A dark furred figure dashed past her and tackled Lionfang with a snarl. "Don't go near her Lionfang! That ain't Cedarpaw anymore!" Oakensplash rasped out, his fur bristling twice his size. The elder was clearly scared.

Ambershine's eyes widened as she spotted Cedarpaw and heard Aspenfall's warning to Lionstep. "He's going to get hurt!" she yelped and began running towards her mate, limping heavily on her bad leg.

Fuzzythroat stared in horror at the scene that unfolded. He quickly moved in front of Rosewhisper as his breathing grew quick. That was impossible, she was dead. He glanced at his father who's eyes were wide with sheer agony. Redfang made himself small behind his son. Fuzzythroat glanced at his family, what were they to do? Run?

"WhA-!" Pebblepaw scrambled turning around and running off. She really was not sure why she was running, but she was terrified. There was something different. Food? Why had she said that?

"Ambershine!" Flamestep hurried forward, chasing after the she cat. Moving to her side, the tom supported her and gave a small snarl at Cedawpaw. Oakensplash let out a groan of pain, rolling to a stop in front of Fuzzythroat and Redfang. His tackle had sent Lionfang rolling but it also sent him farther than he imagined.
Eclipselight let out a snarl as she saw her food running off and gave chase, her already pale gaze frosted over with death.

Pebblepaw was fast thanks to her small size, and Eclipselight's injury only added to the distance between the two cats, but the small apprentice was growing tired, and the other cat seemed to have an unearthly stamina. Glancing around with wide eyes, Pebblepaw scrambled up a tree, doing her best to lose the following cat.

"Get off me!" Lionfang snarled as he struggled to get away from the elder. "I want to see my sister!" Panic rose in him as the others were trying to get away from her even though she seemed perfectly fine.
Cedarpw gave a wide grin that showed all her teeth that were bloody. She began to make her way towards them and swaying her tail.

Redfang sniffed Oakensplash before he recognized the look in Cederpaws eyes. She wasn't herself anymore. He moved forward, his tail swishing back and forth "Lionfang that is no longer your sister." he whispered, moving in front of his son protectively. He wondered if they all worked together if they could take her on.

Eclipselight barrled head first into the tree, the blow stunning her. She laid at the bottom of the tree for a moment before rising back to his paws with a hungry snarl. "Come down.."
Oakensplash let out a growl at the tom's balant refusal and cuffed the tom harshly. "Wake up! Her eyes are glazed! Her fur is patchy! Her bites kill!" He barked out harshly, snarling viciously as Cedarpaw went near.

Pebblepaw climbed higher and higher, thanking StarClan for her small frame. Since she was so light, the fear of branches breaking under her weight was much less of a worry. She huddled on a high branch, her pelt fluffed up against the wind, "I-I don't want to."

"Come down.. Live forever.." Eclipselight rasped out, reaching up with sharp claws to sink them into the bark. Her mangled paw couldn't sink into the bark though and she let out a vicious snarl.

Live forever? "I don't trust you..." Pebblepaw hunkered down, sinking her claws into the branch beneath her, she would stay up here if it meant safety. Her heart hammered in her chest, but she hummed her mother's lullaby to keep herself breathing regularly.

"Come down/" Eclipselight rasped out, feeling hunger claw at her stomach. After a while though, Eclipselight wondered away, back towards the tantalizing scent of camp. Drool leaked out of her jaws and she let out a raspy growl, seeing the camp entrance come into view.

Pebblepaw breathed a sigh of relief seeing Eclipselight leave. She moved to a lower, thicker branch and settled down, her body shaking with fear. What in StarClan's name was going on?

Ambershine fell as Flamestep pushed her out of the way. She yelped in pain but got up as quickly as she could and continued to her mates' side. "What is that thing?" she asked, fearfully as Cedarpaw grinned widely.
