Drake smiled at his wife and leaned in, planting loving kisses onto her mouth and cheeks. “Thanks, love. And you’re worth all the time and money and everything else in the world.” He said, holding her hands. “We can do this.”
Arcane perked up at his friend’s words. “Hey, doing something worthwhile sounds good.” He barked. At the next words about finding other dogs he nodded in agreement. “That’s a great idea! Let’s do it!”

Mysha purred softly at the affection. "And there's nothing that would even come close to being worth what you are to me." She kissed back gently before going back to her food. She then cracked a smile in a joking manner. "Except Ghio's spine maybe." She wanted those bones. Badly.
Ligach woofed softly before looking around for more dogs. There were plenty around, because humans held them in such high regards here. Eventually, they found a spot in the city where there seemed to be a lot, and Ligach shrugged. "Should we just pick a group to go to maybe?"

Drake smiled and nodded at her last statement. “I’d like to see those too.” He replied as he slowly came closer to her and sat behind her, pulling her close. “But like you said, nothing in the world could replace how much we mean to each other..” he mumbled to her as he kissed her neck a few times. He liked this time they had alone. The time they could be vulnerable and actually have time to love on each other.
Arcane looked around and shrugged his lean shoulders. “Sounds good here, Ligach. Any group catch your eye?” He asked. No matter how many other dogs he saw, he never felt any companionship to them. After all, he never had parents. He was never a pup. He was just came to life and was broken from a stone prison.

Mysha looked over at him. "Mmm... how about I show you how much I appreciate you, hm?" She looked at him playfully before eating another bite of food, teasing him with the proposition. Teasing cause she didn't seem to be acting on it, deciding she was still a little hungry.
Ligach shrugged, looking around. When other dogs saw them, they were all looking curiously. Some of them looked unsure. He then looked over as a voice said "Hey, how about you and your cute friend join us? You look a little funny just standing there." He looked over to see the female that had taken notice. Xolo. That was her breed, a subconscious knowledge that came to him. Ligach nudged Arcane's shoulder before walking over to the group of dogs.

Drake let out some low dragon growls at her provocative words. But when she turned back to her food he huffed a little bit in amusement. "Hey, you tease." He said playfully.
Arcane looked over at Ligach when he nudged him and he soon followed after him, also gaining the same subconscious information about the female dog's breed. As well as all the others in the group. "Hello." He woofed as the two approached, looking amongst the dogs.

Mysha smiled slightly. "I have to keep you wanting sometimes. Makes things interesting." Soon she was done eating, looking satisfied and no longer hungry. "We should go hunting at some point," she decided. "Eat the food of our catch." There was something more satisfying about catching your own meal.
The Xolo sniffed at them curiously, saying "I don't think anyone's ever really seen you out here. You're always within the fort walls." She then looked over as another dog asked "So, what's it like being, well, you? Word is that you were rocks until the new humans came into power." He looked skeptical, and Ligach sniffed. "We're just dogs. Nothing special." The Xolo scoffed, saying "Not special? Word is you two came from First Dog! Ooh, what's he like? Or she? I don't know. Do you??"

Drake nodded at the idea of hunting themselves. "Mmmmhhmmmm. That sounds like a great idea." He said happily, laying back and looking up at her. "We'll have to do that sometime soon. And bring Ligach and Arcane." He said, frowning a bit. "We neglected to bring them along to the Beast."
Arcane's eyes widened and his ears pricked as a sudden barrage of questions began to hit them. "W-w-well, it's true we do commune with the First Dog, but we don't retain much knowledge about them. But I do know that the First Dog is not male or female. It was originally created without gender in mind." He woofed, looking at the other dogs. "But like Ligach said, we aren't that special. We're just dogs that got adopted by the current rulers."

Mysha hummed in agreement. "I think they'd like that. They're probably mad we didn't take them along with us earlier." She smiled, then smirked before suddenly moving to straddle him. "Now, I believed I promised you a little something, didn't I?"
Ligach nodded in agreement with Arcane. "Yeah, and if we do have anything special about us, we have not been shown as such." The Xolo blinked once before saying "Well, we're told that the statues you came from had markings on them, of the organs your humans had branded." Ligach snickered, saying "Well, Arcane does eat a lot. Maybe that's his power since he came from the stomach brand." The wolfhound nudged the boxer playfully.

Drake nodded in agreement as Mysha spoke, then his eyes widened as she moved to straddle him. "W-Well you didn't really promise. But I'm not arguing." He said, moving his hands to rub her sides and belly. "You're so lovely."
Arcane barked playfully as his friend nudged him and commented at his large appetite. "Says the Bone Brand wolfhound who is always prowling around the food tables and grabbing food with bones in them and eating every bit of meat on them. Then playing with the bones!" He retorted, nudging Ligach back playfully. "But yes, we each have the symbols of the body part we represent and come from." he woofed.

Mysha shrugged. "I did. In my mind anyway." She snickered before leaning down and kissing him deeply. It was brief though, as she then moved so she could get her one hand... lower. Her gaze was playful as she started undoing his pants. (Skip x3)
Ligach woofed happily, looking as the Xolo said "Well either way, you're both better than regular dogs. And better looking too." Her ears twitched as she looked over at Arcane. Ligach sniffed, saying "I know, so many females fighting to get to me. It's tough for Arcane having me to compete with."

Much later, Drake was laying beneath Mysha for once, and he grinned up at her. "Oh, Mysha. As wonderful as ever." He mumbled to her as he growled loudly to her. Rubbing her bare sides, he grinned and grabbed her close. "My beautiful wife...."
Arcane felt his ears and cheeks warm and he ducked his head a bit. He'd felt the Xolo's gaze on him and he was embarassed. Hearing Ligach's final statement, Arcane growled and tried to tackle the male. "Yeah right!" He barked. He then sat back up and he looked around at the gathered dogs. "So what are all of your names?" He asked.

Mysha smiled fondly down at Drake, kissing him when he pulled her close. "Mmm, only for you." She couldn't picture herself with anyone else besides Drake. "And how lucky I am to have such a man all to myself."
Ligach barked playfully at Arcane before looking to the other dogs. The Xolo said "My name's Quetzal, and this is Meep, Garnet, Bracken and Mitz." The other dogs woofed in greeting, and Quetzal said "Nice to meet you, Arcane. You too, Ligach." Suddenly getting up, she barked "Ooh, we should show you around! I bet you haven't had many chances to be elsewhere away from your humans."

Drake sighed in contentment as his wife said sweet things to him and he rubbed his hands down lower and grinned as he captured her lips in his own as he moved his hands on her body. “Good. I know I can always trust you.” He murmured as he continued kissing her.

Arcane brightened as Quetzal offered to show them around. “That sounds good!” He barked as he hopped up to his paws. “And I’m so lucky to have you and all your beauty and love.” He mumbled happily.

Mysha smiled. "Trust and count on no one else more." She purred as Drake continued to kiss her, soaking in the affection. "I'll have your back until the end of our days, and then some." She then moved to be laying beside him, snuggling into him. "Anyone causing trouble for us is making a big mistake. No better team." The two of them and their dragons? Not even some old lava demon was going to stop them.
Quetzal barked before trotting off, making sure the others were following. All the way did Ligach and Arcane get curious looks from other dogs and the humans that were around. They were basically walking relics, the humans speaking rumor that they were the same spirits from the first to current leaders. As they toured the city, Quetzal explained everything and told them about various shops or people they passed. "Ooh, we should go to the marketplace after everything closes up, which will be soon. All the food that didn't get sold gets tossed!" And that meant treats for them.

Drake nodded repeatedly in agreement to Mysha's comments. "That's right, Mysha. No greater team." He echoed, leaning up and kissing her deeply and passionately. "Gods you're so hot..." He mumbled as his body pressed to hers again and he started to get riled up again. "And like you said, we'll be together forever. Even death won't keep us apart." he said as he looked up into her eyes.
Arcane's tail started bobbing faster at the mention of treats and meat scraps. "That sounds great!" Arcane barked as he bounced around and smiled excitedly.

Mysha shivered slightly as their bodies pressed together again. "Mmm, you're so tempting." They didn't have anywhere to be, did they? Unless Rhayne came knocking, though she doubted it at a late hour like this. "Still wanting for another go?" She snickered softly at her own question.
Ligach trotted beside Arcane as Quetzal led the other six toward the marketplace. It was still a little busy, but as the sun went down people started closing up shop. There were some dragons out too, chattering and talking away about both other dragons and humans. Quetzal was suddenly stopped though, when she was met with a young dragon. Still large compared to them, but definitely smaller than an adult. The brown-scaled serpent looked down at them with distaste. "Can't you pests wait until after everyone's cleared out? If I wanted to smell shit, then I would've gone to a trash heap."

Drake grinned as Mysha seemed to be getting into the mood too. He then spun them so now he was overtop of her, grinning down at her. “The real question is if you want to go another round...” he replied as evstarted growling and he kissed all over her chest and neck.
Arcane was taken aback at the dragon’s crude and disrespectful attitude. Didn’t the beast remember that the race of Dogs was one of the most highly regarded in their nation-state? And one thing he couldn’t handle was disrespect. All of a sudden he started exerting the power and authority of just a glimpse of the First Dog itself and he stepped forward, shouldering his way through the others. “Don’t you know who you’re talking to? You should think about what you’re about to say. And then don’t say it.” He woofed as he walked right up to the dragon. “In this place the Dogs are respected by all. Both human AND dragon.” He barked angrily.

Mysha shuddered softly as Drake got on top of her. "Mmm, not sure if I can say no when you're like this." She looked up at him with an almost challenging gaze, but still playful. "It's only fair that you get your turn too, hm?"
The brown dragon sniffed. "Only because humans here were too stupid to take dragons in. We're bigger, stronger-" He paused when nearby statues turned their heads toward the group. Huffing, he said "You dogs are gonna be obsolete one day. And hopefully the demon wipes out the humans here too." Ligach growled, and Quetzal snapped "You should be grateful that the weak humans don't use their milennia's worth of dragon-killing skills on you-" She yelped when the dragon shoved her with a shoulder. "Back off, hairless freak." It was almost pitiful how Quetzal's ears seemed to droop a little at the hurtful comment.

Drake grinned down at her and he rubbed her shoulders and arms with his strong hands. “Mhmmm.” He whispered happily to her as he leaned in and kissed her a few times. “I’ll make sure you’ll enjoy this though.” He mumbled to her.
Arcane snarled as the dragon shouldered Quetzal and walked off after insulting her. He moved to stand next to the female, licking her head a few times. “Don’t pay attention to him, Quetzal. Don’t be ashamed of who you are or how you look.” He barked softly.

Mysha purred. "I don't doubt that one bit." She liked it when Drake got like this, and she watched him for what he'd do next. (Skiiip xD)
Quetzal seemed a little comforted by Arcane, and Ligach nodded in agreement. "Yeah. Fur is overrated anyway." That got a little bark of laughter from her, and the Xolo said in attempt to change the subject "Thanks, you two. Now how about we go look for those treats? I think everyone's starting to leave, so we need to hurry before others show up!"

((Wanna just leave them for a bit?))
Arcane let out a woof at the mention of the treats. "Yes, lets go!" He barked, letting Quetzal take the lead once again.

(Yeah)
Quetzal nodded and led the group to one of the good spots. There was just piles of food and such laid out, shopkeepers knowing most of it was going to be eaten by the other animals. She led them to a spot in particular. "This is where the butcher sets up shop. He doesn't leave much, so it's good we got here first." There were a few small piles set out of fresh meat that didn't get sold, and Ligach was already sniffing around.

Ligach was sniffing around too, immediately snatching up some pork he found and going to town on it. Quetzal and her friends weren't as picky, happy to just have anything. And as they ate, you could hear others starting to move around. You could see dogs on the ground, and some dragons in the air. "Better eat your fill fast," Bracken said with a sniff. "Those dragons won't hesitate to run us off once they decide to sniff around here."

Arcane huffed. "We could fend them off if we had the right numbers and such." He woofed, but didn't get ornery as he just tucked into the meat and starting chowing down.

Quetzal shrugged her shoulders, chewing on some meat. "I think it's the fact that humans hold dogs in higher regards here that nothing's happened yet." Ligach blinked, asking "Yet?" Quetzal nodded, saying "Yeah. Meets like a few minutes ago aren't uncommon. They've been getting a little bolder lately, some of them.:

Arcane snorted. “None of their children are demons at all.” He woofed definitively. “I’ve played with them since the day they hatched. They’re great younglings. And Shard is one of the best parents I’ve ever seen.”
