His body shook from the coldness. He brushed it off and went by the edge to see if he can see any goats. He shivered, but saw some movement just a little ways down.

Wisp watched her mate and she quickly followed, sighing softly when they reached a spot that was out of the wind. “It’s so cold up here.” She whispered.

He heard her.” Then let’s go closer to the ground, it will be warmer.” He said as he dove off the edge.” Beat you there!” He yelled back as he was diving. The wind was making his face peel back a little, but he forced it to stay normal. He was very hungry and e was more comfortable closer to the ground.

Wisp blinked as her mate went cliff diving and she reluctantly followed. She whined as the cold, bitter wind stung her eyes and face but she didn’t let up, soon catching up to her mate and smiling at him during their free fall.

He smiled as she caught up.” Open your wings!” He called as they got closer to the ground. He fought to open his, the pressure keeping them closed. He panicked and went closer to wisp. He caught grip of her and opened his wings with great effort.

Wisp giggled as her mate demanded she open her wings then laughed when he grabbed her paws in his. She, oddly, opened her wings with almost little effort. “Silly male.” She said as their velocity slowed.

Wisp giggled again and nosed him once they landed and she leaned on him and trilled. “Thanks for protecting me, mate. Even from a plummeting fall.” She said. It was much warmer where they are now, though they were still on the mountain.

He smiled.” No problem.” He chuckled, it was much warmer and he could scent prey here.

Wisp smiled as she warmed up and started smelling the air. She soon got the scent of prey and she trilled softly. “Come on.” She whispered, leading the way towards the scent.

Wisp grinned as she kept walking with her mate, tracking the prey. Once she came up on them she grinned and licked her mouth. Four or five mountain goats were in front of them, apparently not noticing them.

Scarlet lets out a low growl but waited till Ocean got into the valley to set fire to the tree tops with her fire breathe to get the followers off.

There were sudden cries of shock and fear from behind the trees, and Ocean smiled. “Thanks, Scarlet.” He said happily as he patted her neck lightly. He then turned to his human friend and grinned. “I got it.” He said, taking the bow off his back and holding it out to her.

He looked ahead eagerly. He was hungry from the long flight, and these were easy prey.

Wisp smiled over at her mate and nosed his head. “I’ll go for the two on the right, you get the ones on the left...” she growled into his ear.

He nodded as he focused closely to the left goats. He growled and crept forward slowly, keeping his steps silent.

Wisp crawled towards the other goats, trying to remain silent. Her tail waved slowly behind her and she grinned as she got close. When her mate was in the right position and she was as well, she nodded to him then leaped at the small beasts, managing to get both of them.

He leaped when she gave the signal and also caught both. One let out an ear piercing ‘baa’ but it was quickly cut off.” Good catch.” He said after a little bit

Wisp smiled at her mate and nodded, pulling her catches over too. She dropped them beside her mate’s prey and growled happily as she laid down. “Thanks, mate. You too.” She replied happily as she rubbed her side on him.

"Thank you," Amanda said as she took the bow and placed it over her shoulder and Scarlet lets out a content rumble from her throat. "It feels so good to have my father's bow again. Now I can finally rebuild my village from the ashes that the capital soldiers burned down." Amanda said in a quiet but loud mumble as she got on Scarlet's back getting ready to fly off. |

Wisp smiled as she snuggled with her mate and wrapped her tail around his and also bit into her prey. Ever since she’d been Marked she was much more devoted to her mate and wanted to be close to him and give him all her love. She kept eating her prey and growled happily.

Ocean nodded immediately. “The authorities already know it was me who stole the bow and I don’t want to cause any more trouble. I have extra clothes and plenty of money so I can survive. Plus I kinda want to meet other dragons and see just how much I misunderstand them.” He replied.
Wisp had finished one of her goats since it was smaller and when she felt her mate’s eyes on him she glanced over and smiled, purring to him as she leaned into him again. “This was a good meal, mate.” She said happily as she cuddled with her mate.

He smiled.” Definitely.” He agreed with a trill. He finished his bigger goat and was still a litttle hungry but he decided to leave it for later. So he got up and carried the goat away into a small hole.

Wisp followed her mate over to the hole with her other catch as well. The smaller female cane up beside her mate, goat in her jaws as they went to put the goats somewhere for later. “So....” she mumbled around the goat. “Should we look for other dragons then?”
