"She must have spent too much time around you." Minsy poked Melia's arm playfully. "Sarcasm is the most contagious of diseases." She chuckled at her own little joke, her heart feeling lighter than it had in a long time. The forest got too boring, too repetitive, for her free spirit. A little adventure along familiar roads was the perfect recipe for her wild heart.

A little adventure along familiar roads was the perfect recipe for her wild heart. "Are you sure it is not that she spent too much time around you, young one?" Melia joked back. She let out a soft chuckle before sending a sideways glance to Minsy. "I remember you used to give Malaedus and I quite the amount of sass back during that brief time you traveled with us," she added, tipping her head in the elf's direction.

Minsy's face turned a dark shade of red. "Little me? Pfft, I would never give anyone sass ever!" Minsy nodded her head adamantly, her tone light and moderately sarcastic. "Okay okay, maybe just a tiny bit of sass. But all well deserving mind you." She stuck her tongue out at Melia

Melia smirked and let out a breath. "Alright, I will admit that we may have deserved some of it," she replied. "I was quite a different person back then." Earwen frowned and sent a glance to Melia. "Melia, I feel like you were a different person every other day during that time," she remarked. "You had us all very confused at times," she added with a laugh. Melia shrugged, a playful smile across her face. "I was merely trying to make my life more interesting. Things get dull after so many years. Now, are either of you hungry?"

I have discovered that my cat likes loaded baked potato salad))
Minsy's stomach gave a loud growl at the prospect of food and her mind instantly wandered to the variety of culinary excellence waiting for her inside. "I'm always hungry." She joked.

Omg xD]]
Melia laughed, and turned to Earwen. "And you?" "I am hungry as well," Earwen replied with a nod. "Wonderful, follow me," Melia said with a smile. She pointed up ahead to a rustic looking tavern, though even for the middle of the day there were many people coming in and out. "This little place has the best food in town. Well, aside from the royal cooks of course," she said. She stopped at the entrance and whispered something to the guard stationed there, after which he quickly took off toward the palace at the top of the city. Melia then led the two elves inside and picked a table off to one side. Earwen spent a good long minute looking around the interior. Something about this place felt very familiar. "Wait a minute... this tavern, it is where I first met everyone - where the entire incident with the ring started," she gasped. "Oh? Is that so? What a coincidence!" Melia sang.

Minsy rolled her eyes. "Oh yea, I'm sure this one was just a big coincidence." She shook her head with a grin. So this was the starting point for most of the others She mused silently. Minsy had almost forgotten Earwen had once carried the Ring, a major detail that frequently slipped her mind. It was weird to be in a place filled with such dark memories and also people just ready for a good meal and an even better drink. "So does everyone in Gondor just get hammered in random points throughout the day...and did you say royal cooks?" Her eyes lit up as they traveled from the bar to the kitchen

Melia placed a hand on her chest. "It hurts to hear you doubting me like that," she teased. She sat herself down at the table and leaned her staff against the wall right behind her and looked out at the other patrons in the tavern. "Well, these are peaceful times and the city is doing well. The people have more time - and money - on their hands," she said with a chuckle. "And yes, I did mention royal cooks. They are quite good at what they do. I may be able to bring the two of you in, if you would prefer that~" she offered.

Minsy practically drooled at the thought of some good food that she didn't have to go harvest in the forest. As much as she loved nuts, berries, and pies, her stomach occasionally rumbled for meat. Of course hunting was nearly impossible for one who understood the animal language, as it was hard to look a rabbit in the eye as it chittered on about it's 658 children and proceed to skin and skewer it. Minsy wouldn't mind some roasted boar. "I'm down for anything, as long as Earwen is too."

Earwen gave a slight nod and looked to Melia. "That sounds lovely, if it is alright for us to be dining there," she said. Melia gave them both a pat on the shoulder. "Of course! You both are esteemed guests in my book, and not to mention heroes who aided in saving this land. I am sure Nerade and Daerion would not mind, it is the least we can offer," she said. "Come, follow me," she said before whisking out of the tavern.

Minsy chuckled, feeling a slight blush rise in her cheeks. "I'm no hero Melia, just the friend of one." She smiled warmly at Earwen. "So hopefully that's still worthy of those amazing chefs." She felt her stomach growl again and her mind wandered to what sorts of deliciousness awaited her taste buds.

Melia gave a thoughtful pause as she walked. "Well, you helped, didn't you? I would say that makes you count as one," she said. "I agree with Melia," Earwen said with a smile to Minsy. Then she chuckled. "In the past I never would have imagined I'd be saying those words." "Very funny," Melia murmured with a smirk. She led the two up to the white city, and after pausing to speak to a couple more guards brought Earwen and Minsy through courtyards and great halls until they reached the dining hall. "Here we are~" I'm gonna start some plot soon now that everyone's left us RIP]] Also sorry for the poof, my computer completely died on me earlier in the week ]]

Ooh I like me some plot)) You're all good ^.^))
Minsy smiled quietly to herself, feeling rather pleased. As the sights gave way to the dining hall, her stomach gave a ferocious growl that made her face redden in shock. "Guess I'm really looking forward to some quality food." She laughed

Woo! Oh, and did you want Minsy to be connected to any of the Valar?]]
Melia let out a laugh as well, and gestured for the two elves to have a seat before pulling out a chair for herself. She motioned to a guard off in the corner and he nodded before going into the kitchen to alert the cooks. "I could get used to filling in for royalty," she joked. "Now now, we don't want to accidentally take things too far," Earwen warned.

Eh nah )) "Accidently? I feel like Melia is the kind of person to conquer and entire kingdom and then claim it all to be one big misunderstanding." Minsy teased. I wonder if she ever did seriously do something like that... She suddenly thought to herself, feeling like the Melia of old was a far different person than the Melia they now knew. But what did Minsy know, she lived in a forest riding around on a rabbit sleigh for 95% of her life

Alrighty xD]]
Melia cleared her throat and shook a finger in the air. "There are no happy little accidents with me," she said. "I am an individual with a great sense of purpose, though it may not seem so. Maybe not a misunderstanding, but more like a game... as I said before, I need to keep myself entertained," she went on with a playful grin. "I tire of things quite quickly, you see." "I am sure the kingdom of Gondor would take that excuse very well," Earwen replied with a chuckle. Her eyes then widened as platters of food were brought out and presented to them. Meats, breads, fruits, vegetables, cheese of great variety were set out on the table. "This is quite a feast!" "Anything to drink, my friends?" Melia asked as a glass of wine was poured in front of her.
Melia taking full advantage of this situation xD]]

Minsy's mouth watered at the sight, but thought a second before taking Melia's offer for a drink. This was as special occasion after all, so what would a little drink or 12 hurt? She shrugged. "Yes, don't mind if I do." Minsy smiled warmly, her stomach growling again at the prospect at what was about to enter it

"Well then, please, help yourself," she announced. She lifted her glass and took a small sip before swirling the wine around a bit and placing it on the table once more. Earwen turned down the alcohol and at first had her glass filled with water. However, she couldn't resist her wood elf blood and once she had started eating she asked for a second glass to be filled with wine. "Everything is so delicious!" she praised.

Ragnar - (occasional alias is Dagnir/Slayer) | 1209 | Male | Dúnedain/Elven | Chaotic Good
Ragnar is relatively tall, standing at 6ft 6in, taller than quite a few others because he is part Dúnedain and part Elf. Ragnar has an oval shaped head with a defined, slightly pointed chin and a sturdy jawline. He looks like he’s 30 years old, though he’s a lot older than that. His face is usually held forward in a steady gaze, and has an air of authority that is palpable. He has messy, slightly long dark brown hair, dark brown eyes, and an almost faded splash of freckles on the bridge of his nose. Ragnar’s skin is marked with small scars, nothing so bad that it would damage his good looks, though. He has slightly thin eyebrows, usually raised up high in amusement, or pointed down sharply if something upsets him or makes him angry. He is usually either seen with a goofy grin on his face when he feels happy and at ease, a determined scowl when he is faced with a challenge or an opponent, or he takes up a brooding expression. Ragnar has slightly shorter than medium length, somewhat roughly trimmed facial hair. He likes to have it somewhat short, because he feels like it would look too wild if it's very much longer, and if it was trimmed nicer, it wouldn't look wild enough. He feels like it makes him look tougher, and, if it was possible, more attractive. He is a very tanned man with calloused hands, due to days and days out in the hot sun training, and fairly lean with a slightly higher than average, muscular build to himself. Ragnar’s body is really built more for speed than strength, due to him being part elf, but he isn't considered remotely weak at all, he’s won his fair share of fist fights, and his body is very durable and sturdy, meaning that he could really take on the hits before he gets worn out or beat up. Ragnar usually wears a loose fitting cotton shirt of varying colors with gauntlet like cuffs at the wrists, light chain mail armor, a dark brown leather tunic, padded black trousers, a black pair of boots, and a long, hooded green cloak. Ragnar wears a scabbard that is strapped diagonally across his back, holding his double-edged leaf bladed Hand-and-a-Half style sword. The sword is elven made and has a silver steel blade and bronze crossguard, hilt, and pommel. The blade is made of the finest steel, it stays sharp and cuts like butter. It never dulls, and it never breaks. A large, white gemstone is embedded in the pommel. Along both sides of the blade, in the elven language, the name of the sword is inscribed. It’s name is Ârcrist, or Kings Sword. On both sides of the crossguard, in a forgotten Dúnedain language, is the name of a forgotten Dúnedain King, Ragnar’s ancestor, who the elves forged the sword for thousands of years ago. The sheath is silver, and beautifully decorated. Intricate elven designs cover it. Inscribed at the top of the sheath is this: “Onlui i thand aran tur- rad- hi magol” or “Only the true King can find this Sword”, but there is an elven spell on the sheath that makes the statement unreadable. Ragnar found the sword and sheath in the rubble of an old, destroyed fortress. He doesn’t know the true heritage of the weapon. He also has a pair of curved elven short swords hanging from his left and right hip, the blades and handles of the short swords elegantly designed with elven symbols, a set of three large daggers hidden within his clothes, strapped to his chest, and a Galadhrim Longbow that hangs on his back, along with a quiver of arrows. Ragnar also has a horn that is attached to a rope, Ragnar either hangs it around his neck, or he hangs on his saddle. The elves gave him the horn to signal to them whenever he returns, so that they can throw a party and a large feast. | Ragnar is somewhat a fairly nice guy, but he has a slight anger problem, causing him to lash out at people he cares about, making him hurt people when he doesn't want to. This usually happens when he feels pressured or frustrated and when he feels like all hope is lost. He isn’t against hurting people, though. He is ruthless against anyone that he deems an enemy. He is a very loyal friend or ally, but if you betray him, it is hard to gain his trust back. He will hunt you down to the end of the earth if you betray or double cross him. To some, Ragnar acts like a hard, cruel man who would go to far lengths to get what he wants, and sometimes he will. But, once you get to know him, you realize that's not always the case. He is sometimes like a kid at heart, joking around with people and attempting to ease any tension during stressful days. Ragnar also has a slight alcohol problem, he just can't stop drinking it, and weirdly, and luckily, he hardly ever gets drunk. Ragnar also has a way with the ladies, since he's so attractive and charming, you know, that's what he tends to say, anyways, which is probably one of his jokes. He is a great singer, he is often the one who starts singing while at camp or while riding, heck he’s even sang while in a fight. He has a great range in pitch, can sing any song flawlessly. Ragnar is fairly carefree and reckless in nature, always using a little too much power or skill then the scenario needed, whether fighting against friend or foe, Ragnar doesn't know when to hold back. Ragnar is a very loyal ally, never backing down, even if victory is doubtful. Even though Ragnar is a fairly decent guy, he is willing to do fairly bad things for the greater good of his people and friends. | Swordsmanship, Tracking, and Charisma | Ragnar was born in Rivendell, his father was named Aeron, a Dúnedain who was fostered in Rivendell, and his mother was named Theriril, an Elf that lived in Mirkwood. Ragnar lived in Rivendell until Aeron and Theriril died when Ragnar was five, then Ragnar was moved to Minas Tirith, where Ragnar was fostered there for awhile before moving to Mirkwood, to live with his mothers people. When he came of age he left and became one of The Rangers of the North. Throughout his life, he has hunted down monsters, fought in wars, and helped keep the peace in Middle Earth. Ragnar fought in the Army of Gondor, helped lead the Rohirrim Cavalry in different wars, and fought alongside the elves. He spends most of his days traveling, in search of people to help and jobs to do. He tries to visit the elves as often as he can, since they are somewhat family to him. Ragnar was part of the group that set out to destroy the silver ring, but he got captured by a dark wizard. The wizard put a spell on Ragnar, which made him forget everything from the quest, and he was barely able to escape with his life. He is now trying to piece together the memories from the quest, though it is difficult. | Ragnar is one of the Rangers of the North. The blood of a forgotten Dúnedain king runs through his veins, unbeknownst to him, making him the long lost heir. A lot of times, Ragnar uses a false name, Dagnir, meaning Slayer. Ragnar has a house in Minas Tirith that he returns to here and there. He has clothes, armor, weapons, books and maps hidden away there, as well as gold that he acquired from different jobs. | Fireclaw3
