Just going to make it 100% clear what happens in the final chapter: - Tigerstar tells the Gathering about Juniperclaw's death and appoints Cloverfoot as his new deputy. He says Juniperclaw was wrong to try poisoning SkyClan instead of being willing to fight-them like a true warrior, but also points out that Juniperclaw died saving both a kit (Shadowkit) and a warrior from another Clan (Violetshine) from drowning.
- WindClan and RiverClan apologize for not doing more to help SkyClan stay at the lake. Tigerstar refuses to, but says he'll accept that all five Clans need to be here now.
- SkyClan is given equal territory to the other Clans. This is done by giving them part of ShadowClan and ThunderClan's territory (all the way from the edge of the territory to the lake), having RiverClan give some territory to ShadowClan, and having WindClan give some territory to ThunderClan.
- A lot of adorable jokes are made about how ShadowClan is glad to finally have someone else on the border that isn't ThunderClan, ThunderClan saying the same thing to them, ShadowClan joking that ThunderClan will miss their scent marks, WindClan asking what they'll even have to discuss at Gatherings if ShadowClan and ThunderClan can't bicker, and RiverClan replying that they'll always find something to argue about.
- Alderheart reflects on how much Twigbranch and Violetshine have grown, and how Violetshine is having kits, and thinks that Needletail must be proud of them too. He sends a prayer to StarClan for the peace of five united Clans to last, but lol we know that won't happen.

This is what I thought was going to happen in DN

So Flypaw at one point tells Twigbranch that Plumpaw and Eaglepaw believed that SkyClan should've stayed. There were two RiverClan apprentices who believed this as well. Dapplepaw and... I can't remember off the top of my head who the second one was. Flypaw said that it was only the leaders who wanted SkyClan to leave. Twigbranch decides to, for the first time, talk to Bramblestar about bringing SkyClan back.
I don't really know what happens, but Twigbranch does leave to bring SkyClan back to the lake. And Finleap officially decides to stay in TC instead of moving back to SkC. He's officially accepted that Twigbranch doesn't want kits and he still loves her. When Pebbleshine noted to her daughters that there were cats who loved them she looked at Tree and Finleap.

Hmm, I wonder why Finleap decided to stay. It was clear he didn’t feel loyal to ThunderClan at all.
I mean sure if he’s accepting that Twigbranch doesn’t want to be with him anymore that’s got at least and if he actually wants to try to be loyal that’s good I guess. Go for it.
I just hope he doesn’t just rush into another relationship in ThunderClan. Defeats the point.

Well...accepting her decision late is better than never. It's still a huge disappointment he initially reacted the way he did, but at least he's backed off and stuck with TC, so he's not completely ruined.

The full translation of the book (rough draft) is now complete, so anyone who wants to read it should join the Discord server we set up. Link is... somewhere in this thread.

Wow, I feel so valid.
Finleap being a shallow fedora wearer? ✓ Tree and Violetshine having kits! WOO! ✓ Twigbranch finally becoming respectable! ✓ No more clan hopping! ✓ Cloverstar! CLOVERSTAR! (I hope) ✓ ShadowClan is still friggin horrible? ✓ Tigerstar being confirmed as a jerk? ✓ Mistystar is a darn mousebrain? ✓ Leafstar is still amazing! ✓ Bramblestar is still crappy as a leader. ✓ Harestar is still doing amazing as well. ✓ And StarClan finally taking action hahaha. ✓
Unpopular opinion, I can't wait to read this.

Also, lol, ya can be happy now that you have a ship that's canon but doesn't want kits. I mean...haha...I don't feel bad at how badly the relationship soured, but hey, at least it's something. On the other hand, I hope Violetshine's kits are the protagonist for the next series. I rather them than DoveTiger, ugh. I've had enough of ShadowClan for one series.

Pebbleshine has officially been confirmed dead. It turns out that Tree has been speaking to her for quite a while. FINALLY. Now there can be no more theories that she's alive (Which wasn't gonna be likely at this point anyways, after everything we've seen). I had a good feeling she'd be dead for a long time now. Also for a second I thought you said Puddleshine and I was like "NOOOOOOO- oh wait". I hate that their names are so similar. >w>'

Who are the mentors for Dovewing’s other kits?
Any word on the missing Skyclan cats besides Pebbleshine?

Who are the mentors for Dovewing’s other kits? Any word on the missing Skyclan cats besides Pebbleshine? We never find out who their mentors were. I don't actually see anywhere in the last chapter where Shadowkit is even referred to as Shadowpaw---I think there might have been some misconception floating around that he's confirmed as an apprentice in the last chapter, but unless I missed something, that didn't happen. No.

I honestly hope it's not Ivypool's or Dovewing's kits- or at least not their first litters. I kinda like the tradition of the new POVs of each series just becoming apprentices at the start, and by this point if we consider the usual 6-moon-timeskip at the end of AVOS they'll already be halfway through their apprenticeships or even warriors by then.
Of course they might break this tradition and have it be them anyway, or simply not do the usual timeskip- which I'd be fine with- but idk, I'd like to see new apprentice povs.
And so if they do stay traditional I'd think the most likely candidates are Violetshine's kits- it'd be the perfect timing, they'll be born not long after The Raging Storm, and by the time the series starts again they'll either be really close to or about to become apprentices. Plus that'll be kinda revolutionary in the series since ThunderClan for the first time won't be a main point of view. Sure Violetshine broke the tradition somewhat but she spent half the series in ShadowClan and half the series in SkyClan, so while her pov was significant it didn't really displace ThunderClan's more consistent role.
But I mean I don't mind having POVs of Ivypool and Dovewing's kits in general- I actually think they'd be interesting, just have them be side-POVs outside of the main ones.

If we get "side Clan" POVs, I'd vote for Wind and River before Shadow and Sky. Especially River. They've done *nothing* lately.

No but seriously, if they do keep with traditions, then the next POV will most likely go to an expecting mother, so they do the kit povs when they become apprentices. So maybe Violetshine's litter. Would be nice, at the same time, and lol I'm gonna guess this now, we might...might get a RiverClan POV. RC has gotten some good screen time this series, unlike the last, and Mistystar is getting pretty old in age. She took a nasty blow thanks to Darktail, some of her cats got held prisoner, and their home was destroyed severely, and then now a flood? Honestly, it sucks for them rn lol. And if Misty is really losing faith in StarClan right now, she's probably gonna kick the bucket soon. I do wonder if the Erins will kill of Reed and Misty in one go next series, Reed is pretty darn old. Maybe he steps down, don't know. But since the clans are also a democracy now, heck there could be a pov from all of them, which would be ridic, s probably three at most. So I'm hoping and calling SkyClan, RiverClan, and ThunderClan. Both WindClan and ShadowClan do not need anymore attention or povs tbh, they've had enough, especially with Crowfeather getting an SE, and Violetshine and Needletail both being in ShadowClan at one point.

I still want to know who Cloverfoot's apprentice was. Yeah, that's... really strange... :/ Incidentally, I suspect that the mentors of the ShadowClan cats were changed in the Norwegian allegiances. Strikestone as Blazepaw's mentor is definitely true, but the Allegiances list Sparrowtail as Cinnamonpaw's mentor and Stonewing as Antpaw's mentor, while within the book itself there is a line that strongly suggests Stonewing is Cinnamonpaw's mentor.
