But seriously, this is why I moved to Wings of Fire and Survivors. This new editing team sucks. I could have been a better editor than the team atm. I would fix the inconsistencies, grammar, spelling, sentence structure, and even the plot outline to make the series more engaging. I knew that killing off Darktail early on was fishy.

Don't they also not let the authors choose the names of the cats? I've heard somewhere that Kate wanted to name Sparkpelt something else but the team wouldn't let her.

She wanted to call her Sparkfire, and for Twigbranch's name to be either Twigshade or Twigleaf or something like that.

That's right. Kate said the editors choose names now for the new characters. In my opinion, the author should have that creative control when it comes to the characters. Agreed. They don't seem to respect Kate at all :/ When fans tried to correct her about Beetlewhisker being dead, she told the editors, but they kept it. The same with Ambermoon's name. I'm not saying they should let her go Rambo and do everything herself, but she's been with the series since literally the beginning, and they just walk all over her and ignore her.

Yeah, Kate is a great writer, but now the editing team is like. "NOPE. You may be the one who actually writes the books, but we want it to be like this because we just like it."

Sparkfire would have been a great name. YUP. It would've worked well in a way since we have AlderHEART. Which was their grandpapi's Warrior suffix. The new editor team just lack creativity big time, they don't like the fun creative names we had before, and in the end it makes Bramblestar look like he has no idea wtf he's doing when it comes to Warrior names. Goodbye to expecting good creative names akin to Poppyfrost, Birchfall, Blossomfall, Leafdapple, Echosong, and etc. in the new arc, now we have stuff like Snowbush and Twigbranch. :///// The new editors sucks as a whole. CT being decent was a huge surprise considering their record, but it seems they dropped back to their usual crap.

I miss when their names meant something to the specific cat, and gave them an identity.

Also Mistystar might actually be doing exactly what Bluestar did. Lost faith in StarClan due to the damage Darktail did. Like mother like daughter.

Okay unless that was to be a somewhat intentional parallel, I think they've ran out of ideas at this point. (Then again they reused a lot of first-arc stuff in this arc so not surprised anymore if they pull another one.) Either way, gonna mirror what was said above, "Like mother like daughter". lol

Woah, hey. What's wrong with Snowbush? (I agree with everything else that's been said, big time.) It just doesn't flow very well in my opinion. I understand the visuals the name is going for, but bush as a suffix just isn't very appealing to me personally. It only sounds somewhat decent when paired with plant based prefixes but even then I think there are better alternatives.

Pebbleshine has officially been confirmed dead. It turns out that Tree has been speaking to her for quite a while.

"But you're getting farther away." Twigbranch felt the grief like a lump in his throat. "I will always be in your heart just as you are in my." Pebbleshine blinked lovingly towards her. "You're going to be a great warrior, Twigbranch. I already see that. And you. "She straightened the gentle green eyes against Violetshine. "You'll be a wonderful mother to your kittens." «Kits?» Violetshine let his head be amazed at the chess. Pebbleshine threw a glance at her stomach. "Did you not know?" The shock was clear in Violetshine's eyes. "I'll be mother!" The ears of Twigbranch jumped in the weather. She's gonna be mom! She raised her tail happy. Violetshine would have the family she had always wanted. She heard Tree paint high. He rubbed the snout against Violetshine's cheek. "As I look forward to being a father." It sparked from the eyes of Hawkwing. "Is that why you've been so tired and irritable?" He said. "I thought it was just the weather that went into you." "I thought so too!" Violetshine painted him. Twigbranch looked at her mother. Pebbleshine had begun to go his way. "Wait!" Twigbranch ran out in the rain after her. She wanted to pull her smell a last time, but before reaching her, the smell was gone. The mother moved like a shadow to the trees. "I'll always love you!" Cried Hawkwing after her. "Good bye!" Shouted Violetshine. "Good bye, Pebbleshine." Twigbranch's voice was almost irrational where she stood and saw her mother disappear into the darkness. With sorrow aching in her heart she felt the rain whining on the fur. Then, as she looked down at the grass where Pebbleshine's had passed, she saw stars like glittering in the paws. i cri

But seriously, this is why I moved to Wings of Fire and Survivors. This new editing team sucks. For real. I read wings of Fire over the summer and it was so much better than Warriors, especially the newer arcs like AVOS. There's such a stark difference in the writing and consistency when you have one person writing the books, instead of 2/3 (plus however many ghostwriters there are). Plus, characters actually die in WOF. I have a feeling the only reason cats stopped dying in warriors is because the editors deemed it too "scary" for the audience, and its not gonna change. I already expected there to be almost no deaths in this book and i was right. this trend will likely continue into the next arc, sadly. to all those of you hoping for a thunderclan purge-- rip you.

Hopefully she can persuade the editors to do a TC purge and not to the younger cats but the older ones or at least make them retire. In my friend's fanfic she and her friend made Cloudtail retire because of him going death and Thornclaw, Brackenfur, and Brightheart retired before that and she had Graystripe killed off.

*flips a bloody mountain*
What the #&%!@%# hell editors?! I actually thought Tigerstar had changed. And then Finleap. I felt physically ill reading the crap he said. Thank the heavens Twigbranch put him in his place.
SkyClan being driven out again is not shocking, but I am disappointed. I mean come on, StarClan has sent how many signs saying SkyClan needs to stay?
I'm also not surprised that Juniperclaw turned even darker. Seriously though, how can two seemingly great parents have two out of their three children go bad?
Lastly, I am a-okay with TreexViolet. It seems to be one of the only healthy relationships in AVS. Why do people hate the healthy relationships so much? This is how romance is so supposed to be! I'm a bit surprised she is already pregnant, but she and Tree will be great parents from what we've seen.
I lied, last is hooray for confirmation on Pebbleshine's status! I would have been pretty upset if they pulled a Graystripe and have her suddenly show up again.
Now for questions. Do we see any interaction between Violetshine/Twigbranch with Cherrytail and Cloudmist? Any more hints for HarryxBella? Any new litters besides Violetshine's? Do we see Ivypool's kits become apprentices?
