what were the suffixes of the moon-seer and tide-seeker? They were just seer and seeker, right? If not I'm thinking two suffixes are reserved for the moon-seer which is moon and conch then tide-seekers have tide and sand? So any cat can have a prefix of sand but not a suffix. I also just thought of Sand-searcher instead of Tide-seeker but idk.

i like the moon/conch and tide/sand suffixes best
so if a current moon-seer had -moon, theyd give their apprentice -conch, and then that cat would give their apprentice -moon, and itd kinda alternate?

I initially suggested Sand-seeker for the healer, we could do Tide-seer or Sea-seer or Shell-seer for the oracle.
For suffixes, we could do -moon and -conch for oracle and some two other things, perhaps -tide and -wave for healers?
(I use oracle and healer only to differentiate the roles, not to use as official role titles)

The oracle is offically the Moon-seer. But I may change the Tide-seeker, though I have the name down in a lot of the Main page already. I like sand for a prefix since they search the sand for shells to store herbs in??

Oh not to change the subject too much, but I just thought, what if out in the water there was some kind of landmark? Like a shallow area, a sand bar or a coral reef or something that the cats could swim or paddle driftwood to? If it's a sandbar connected to shore somewhere, then perhaps they could take the long route by land to get there? IDK it's just a random idea.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. A sand bar would be most practical, but I think a shallow coral reef would be cooler. Perhaps to prevent small sharks and other fish from eating their catch, the clan cats bring long, flat bits of driftwood to the reef to tow their catch back on? Perhaps they can only reach this area when the water is calm, perhaps at night or during low tide or something.

yeah the sandbar is reachable during only lowtide! I'll add it in. I think the driftwood is a good idea too. If you guys have any other ides for traditions like what to do for the passing of leadership maybe? Then please tell me!!

Perhaps, as well as receiving nine lives from Moonclan, there's a special conch shell that gets passed leader to leader? It could stem from the first conch that Moonseer hear Moonclan out of, that Sunshell kept after he died.

Oh yes! Herbs would be nice! Listing specific ones you can find on the beach and in the forest. I don't know your characters in full yet so I'm going to just put your characters as the word characters for now! (If someone wants to try and make a join form while I work on rules just to quicken the process they totally can!)

I like that! I feel the desc for the personality needs to be more detailed but the way they look doesn't have to be too long. I know sometimes that can be a struggle. I know Deputy and Moon-seer are taken up are there any others?

Beach Bur
This is used for tooth aches
Black Grass
You chew these into a pulp and it eases the swelling of jellyfish stings
Saltmarsh Cordgrass
Usually chewed by nursing queens, it produces more milk. It also eases fevers.
Sea Rocket
It is chewed into a pulp and eases pain.
Seabeach Sandwort
It is a traveling herb. It keeps a cat's strength up.
Catchweed
They pull the burrs off and put them where the poultice is and it stops the poultice from rubbing off.
Catmint
It is eaten to cure greencough or whitecough, two commom sicknesses.
Calendine
The juices are squeezed into the eye to soothe the effects of a damaged eyes.
Chamomile
It is eaten to strengthen the heart or sooothe the mind, they also put in traveling herbs to give a cat strength.
Chervil
The juices are chewed out of the root or leaves. It is used for bellyache or infected wounds. It can also be used in kitting.
Bearberry
This also treats greencough.
Cobweb
Put on the wound and is used to stop or slow the bleeding of a wound, it can also be used to bind broken bones.
Coltsfoot
The leaves are chewed into a poultice and are used to ease breathing and can also be used to treat cracked pads.
Comfrey Root
The roots are chewed into a poultice and can be used for a variety of things including- repairing broken bones, soothing wounds, wrenched claws, used for itching, and for inflammation and stiff joints.
Virginia Rose
It is chewed into a paste and used for aching joints, and as a traveling herb.
Sweet Fern
Leaves chewed for a painkiller and the white paste in the stem soothes bee stings.
Common Juniper Berries
The berries are chewed and eaten, they help bellyache, give strength, soothes troubles breathing, and helps calm cats down.
Sea Lavender
This herb can hide the scent of death, used in vigils for leaders, it also cures fever or chills.

Idk about trans characters. There's just not really any way for them to transition which is my real issue with including them. I think Non-binary characters would be totally fine, I've seen them only permitted once in another rp I'm in. If you guys really want to have trans characters I wouldn't mind.

Trans folks don't need to transition to be considered trans (since many can't afford/aren't healthy enough to go through surgery), so transitioning... isn't really an issue imo. I'm a trans person who can't transition but I'm still trans.
