I've spent the last hour trying to sum up Gullsong's personality.. mmm -.-

As a side note, the intro has been changed back to the incomplete medicine cat version for some reason

I can handle the history. Do you want me to write it like you're reading a textbook, or like an elder's telling stories?

"Gather 'round, kits, let me tell you a story. It's a story of the moon and stars, a story of love and betrayal, the story of our clan, deep as the ocean depths.

"Many moons ago, long before I was a a kit, there was a kittypet from the Twoleg camp. This kittypet wasn't like the other kittypets - she was bold, adventurous. Why, she left her mother's nest at just your age and ventured out into the world. She encountered many strange new sights and smells, wandering the forest beyond the camp. Until one day, she came to the beach. At the time, there was no Beachclan. Instead, there was a group of loners struggling to survive on the sandy dunes when all they knew was to hunt mice and robins. This kittypet, ingenious as she was, taught the loners to fish, and in turn they taught her to fight. She was quickly accepted into the group.

"But their troubles don't end there, oh no. A band of rogues from the woods overlooking the beach watched as they taught each other, and decided they wanted to take the fish all for themselves. Lurking off to their camp, they planned to launch an attack the next day, before the kittypet and her new friends had time to fatten themselves up too much. A passing loner overheard their plans, and rushed to the beach, alerting the kittypet and her friends about the rogues' attack. This loner was a big, strong tom, and while the kittypet didn't have any experience with fighting, she was able to talk the rest of the group into joining forces to combat the rogues and protect what was theirs. The fight was long and grueling, and lasted the better part of the morning, but come sun-high, the kittypet and her group were victorious.

"With hardships seemingly behind them, the group elected the kittypet its leader, and the tom and the kittypet quickly became mates. Territory was marked, dens within the camp were set up, everything had the makings of a new clan. All they needed was a nudge in the right direction. That nudge came in the form of kits, the kittypet and tom's kits. They say at as young as six moons old, their smallest kit Moon could hear voices coming from conch shells on the beach. One day, Moon got the bright idea to poke his nose in one - and what do you know! A crab pinched him right in the snout!

"Once the conch was empty, though, he pressed his ear to it. The voices, while not unified before, began to gather into one voice. He supposedly said it's like a thousand cats all whisperin' at once. But the instructions were clear. He and his mother were to go to the Starpools, where they'd receive instructions on creating a clan. When they first conversed with Moonclan, all the loners who died fighting the rogues were there, and they granted the kittypet nine lives. She became our first leader, Sunshell. Her son was named Moonseer, and became the namesake for his title in the clan.

"The two returned to camp and spent the entire day giving everyone their names. I tell 'ya, some of them had the most unusual names. Y'all better consider yourself lucky you weren't named 'Scribbleskit' or 'Nellikit'. Over the course of several moons, they put together the Beachclan you know today, gathering your ancestors' ancestors and making them warriors. Even one of Moonseer's siblings got to hold the title of first Tide-seeker. But there were three kits in that litter, and with their father as deputy, what special role did the third kit get? That's right, a whole lotta nothin'.

"Pikeheart was his name. He was jealous. Jealous of his dad for being deputy, jealous of his sibling for being the Tide-seeker, but more importantly he was jealous of Moonseer. Pikeheart claimed he could hear the voices from the conch shells, too, but no one paid him mind, especially after the clan was founded. They said he caused his own brother to go blind, and drowned him in the sea outta jealousy. But Moonclan got him back, dragging Pikeheart down to the depths of the ocean forever.

"Sunshell was devastated. She kept the first conch Moonseer ever listened to as a memento of Moonseer, and a reminder to never forget what Pikeheart did.

"So, kits, take this as a warning. Be careful what you say and do, because one day it might just come back to haunt you."
