The group of rogue launch a third and final attack but because of the leadership of the Traveler the clan is able to drive them away for good. That night Russetheart has a prophetic dream about the Traveler from StarClan that means the Traveler is meant to become their next leader. A massive gang of rouges attacks the Clan. The battle claims two of Foreststar's lives, and Marigoldbreeze, Salamandertail and Stonenose die, along with some rouges. Foxthorn joins the rouges, and two of the rouges join the Clan; Snake and Hawk. Upon leaving, the gang of rouges makes a promise to return and kill everyone.

After countess attacks from the rogue group Foreststar finally devises a plan to defeat the rogues once and for all. The battle was fierce, and Ashenlight and Singingpaw are killed, but the clan comes out victorious and the rogues are finally driven off the land or killed in battle.
Some rogues and former warriors rejoin the clan having decided to fight against the rogues in the final battle. Flashstep and Crushclaw rejoin the clan and two former rogues join and take clan names.
