The gang of rouges launch another attack, and this time succeed in killing Deadstar, Dawnrose, Lion and Birchpaw. The Clan is plunged into chaos as they try to find another leader and deputy. Into the middle of this chaos comes The Traveller, a travelling loner who steps up as both leader and deputy, just until the chaos subsides.
