Cloudpool felt a bit more relaxed when the tom agreed with what she spoke about. She felt a bit embarrassed, knowing she rambled quite a bit. Her shoulders relaxed and she glanced back in front of her, tail twitching at the thought of gaining Frozenstep as a new friend. She purred and got in step with the tomcat before nodding slowly. "I suppose it's a good thing that you don't find me annoying, huh?" She asked with a soft nudge. She tried thinking of other topics to talk about. See, Cloudpool was observant, but never good at making conversation. She paused before twitching her whiskers. "So, what's your favorite prey?" Cloudpool questioned before looking at Frozenstep once again, stopping once her paws felt the soft sand underneath.

When her mother told her that everything was okay, and that she'd be cleaned up later, Sweetkit took it as invitation to literally charge around and fling mud around everywhere. A few warriors that walked by grunted, causing the kitten to apologize, but no where near stop. She squealed and rolled around, deciding that since she were allowed to play in the mud with her mothers permission, she could roll around it too. She just wished Toadkit or Lilykit would play with her so she wasn't all alone in the mud. Maybe Alderberry would? Looking at her mother, Sweetkit got up and charged over, before pouncing on her mothers tail. "Mama! Please play in the mud with me! It's cooling!" The dilute tortoiseshell kit mewed in a high pitched voice.

Waiting in anticipation, Ravenflight watched as a white flash of fur appeared, and right in front was the squirrel the pair was catching. With a joyous purr, the squirrel ended up right into the black tom cats paws. He quickly pounced onto it before it could even think of veering off. He gave it a sift blow to kill it before pulling away. He purred and glanced at Dogwoodbloom, bounding towards her and nuzzling her gently. "What a brilliant catch. We truly make an amazing team, Dogwoodbloom." He mewed, his eyes glittering softly.

The tom carefully pulled back and went to go bury the squirrel. With a moments pause, he thought of another game the two could play. He patted the burial spot of the prey they'd pick up later before turning to face the beautiful white molly once more. "I have a game idea. How bout we both go off to find our own prey, and the first one back gets to pick if they sleep on the inner nest, and the one with the biggest catch has to offer to Marshclaw a position on the dawn patrol tomorrow." He mewed, twitching his tail to see if she would agree with him.

Cloudpool had to think of the question herself before deciding on an answer. She padded closer to the water and sat down, beckoning the tom to come sit beside her before she spoke up. "All prey is quite delicious. But my mother and father first fed me a sparrow, and I think I've been in love with it since." She purred before looking at Frozenstep. Her whisker twitched in amusement. "But I think fish is a very close second, surprisingly. Not everyone has the taste buds for it, but once you get by the texture of the scales, it's delicious, especially when you let it warm on a rock a little." The gray and white molly mewed. She looked at the ocean and watched as it lapped at her paws. With a mischievous look at Frozenstep, she flicked her paw and splashed some of the fresh water onto the tom before forcing herself to look innocent, and out at the horizon.
