Who do you think will get a POV next series? Or who do you want to get a POV?
I asked Kate on her blog if she knows who it is and her response was "Yes. No spoilers."
I think it will be one of Dovewing's kits and one of Ivypool's kits.
From Dovewing's litter I want Pouncekit to get the POV, but it's probably going to be Shadowkit. Kate once stated that he had a bigger role than his sisters. That doesn't actually mean he'll get a POV, but still. We don't know much about Ivypool's kits, but I kinda want it to be Thriftkit.
There will probably be a third. Not sure who. Though it would be nice if it was one of Cinderheart's kits, so at least one of them gets a personality. |

Oh, I hope it's their kits! I would love to see a new generation of fresh, new characters!
Only bad thing is that we'll see more of Tigerheart if their kits are the main characters. :/ But if that's the only way we'll see Dove and Ivy's kits, then so be it.

I'm hoping for Shadowkit.
However, book 1 never does ShadowClan POVs. Maybe they'll go with a Sparkpelt or Ivypool kit for book 1?
I hope Kate can tell us the working title soon.

Do you think Sparkpelt will have kits before the series begins? That does beg the question, how many moons are going to pass between both series? Same with Twigbranch and Finleap.
Kate said she saw the working title name, but forgot what it was. She also said "It kinda feels like Cherith’s secret to tell right now, but I will tell you when it feels right."
It's a shame that there is no way to communicate with Cherith.

Other POV character ideas was one of TwigFin's or VioletTree's kits, or (gag) VioletAlder. I'm not sure, but all I know is that I definitely want one of the POVs to be a IvyFern kit. I don't care for who it is. I really don't think Violet and Alderheart are going to have kits.

I want Thriftkit to be the next Briarlight, minus the crippled part.
I also want Shadowkit to be full of himself because he was StarClan's chose. He'd be nosy and borderline obnoxious, sticking his head into things where they don't belong. However, he'd eventually calm down.

I'm hoping Shadowkit will get a point of view. He's my favorite of the bunch. I still haven't read ROF (just don't feel like it) so I don't care about Ivypool's kits enough to care if they get a pov or not.

Eh, good point. It's hard to see them not starting out with TC, though. Exactly. They could very well already have kits....but Kate did say she "hopes" Twigbranch will have kits with Finleap soon, implying they haven't yet. Unless she's withholding spoilers...? Ugh. Who knows. I wonder how much time passes as well. I saw. I was a bit confused by the answer since Cherith doesn't communicate with fans...? As far as I know, at least. And I'd probably know more than anyone. I agree. But it makes sense, she's probably just a quiet person. |

I would normally say Dove and Ivy's kits, but AVOS's timeline has been so fast that by the end of the series, it's expected that their kits are going to be at least starting, if not well into apprenticeship. And even if they're still kits by the end of the series, the series always has a 6 month time skip if they get rid of that for the first time I'll freak, which means they'll end up being warriors already by the next series anyway. Yes, the series has been changing a lot, but it'd be incredibly odd for the next series to not start with a kit just becoming an apprentice- so they're bound to be from a litter born during the time skip after this series ends. unless they pull another Dawnpelt expectancy mistake
And those litters could be anyone, really, though TreeXViolet and FinXTwig would be more likely. Or, heaven forbid, AlderXVelvet

That would be hilarious though, everyone gets hyped about the new series and the prologue is about an "unknown" kittypet in a house nursing a litter of ginger kits.
I can imagine the uproar now and sound of fans screaming as they throw all their warrior books into the furnace.

I wish they'd just have one POV like the good ol' days lol. If i had to vote for one, I'd vote Shadowkit. What if he becomes a villan? I mean that's cliche but the only POV that was a "villian" ended up being Hollyleaf. That was pretty interesting.
But I don't care for Dovewing so maybe she could just like, pass away? lol...

i wish there were more warrior povs that started from warrior or apprentice level it was satisfying not going through gray wings whole childhood We got that with Bramblestar, so at least there's that, and middle-ish apprenticeship with Leafpool and Squirrelflight! Maybe they'll do it again...granted, that worked so well for Bramblestar because we got to see him growing up in TPB. We also witnessed some of his struggles, and through Firestar's eyes, saw the base of his personality. We haven't had any of that with the new kit/apprentice characters due to all these stupid time jumps and them being far in the background. At the very least, Leafpool and Squirrelflight weren't established characters with personalities at all when we started with their apprentice POVs. |

i feel like dovextiger is part of the reason why i dont like anything after the last hope. it was shoved in our faces in AVoS then Tigerheart's Shadow happened...now theres a HIGH possibility their stupid kits get POVs?? hell no!
