Clear Sky/Skystar is the big one for me. Just when you think he has learned his lesson, he goes back to making poor decisions based on selfishness, before someone pays the price and he realises what he did was wrong. I know it's more bad writing in Erin's part that make him inconsistent and revert back to his arrogant ways but still, had his arc been done properly I wouldn't hate him nearly as much.

Why is Rainflower getting more hate? At least she's a good cat at heart... if anyone deserves hatred, it's Ashfur. Letting selfishness get the best of himself, and wanting to destroy an innocent family, is unforgivable.

Letting selfishness get the best of himself, and wanting to destroy an innocent family, is unforgivable. Rainflower disowned her own kit just because he was "ugly". She literally had his name changed, was more concerned about her own status in the clan, was willing to break up with her mate, she made Crooked sleep by himself. Would compare him to his brother all the time, literally ignores him and all his feats, and didn't give to croaks when he disappeared, or when he came back. She only started acknowledging him when he had a chance to become leader, but even then still believed it would have been Oakheart, not him. Rainflower was so stubborn to admit any of her faults and took it out on her own kit, she didn't even give him a life when he became leader. Ashfur was at least tolerable, before and after becoming a villain. Whereas we can expect Ashfur to behave the way he did, even if he wasn't chosen by the Erins by any particular reason, Rainflower is Crooked's mother. Her actions, imo, are way more horrible, and to a kit, her own kit, is disgusting. |

Let's see... Clear Sky at least redeemed himself.
Rainflower was a horrible mother, but she never did anything that endangered her Clan.
Breezepelt trained in the Dark Forest and fought on their side, but I'm waiting for CT to come out to see how he's handled in that book.
Thistleclaw was loyal to his Clan, but he also believed that power was strength and was too battle-hungry.
Ashfur conspired with a cat from another Clan, was a horrible mentor to Lionpaw, tried to kill the original Three, and then threatened to reveal Squirrelflight's secret all because she didn't become his mate. The only reason he got into StarClan was because Vicky felt bad for him.
So yeah, out of the ones listed, I'll go with Thistleclaw and Ashfur.
