Staff members have the right to change, add, or remove a rule if it is deemed necessary. In this role-play, you will be expected to reply more than three sentences per role-play post. You will also be required to read all information, especially regarding the Clans, rules, and special systems we have in place. This role-play has special systems to help the overall function of it. Due to these systems, some things may not turn in your favor. This includes character death, illness, and injuries. If this bothers you, it is highly advised you do not join. Be aware of the consequences of your actions. When a rule is broken by a member, they will receive a verbal warning. Three verbal warnings will equal a star. When a members receives a star, they will receive a punishment. This can range from apprentices being held back a moon, to a mentor losing their apprentice, or demotion of a rank. Three stars will equal a deletion. At that point, you must wait two weeks to rejoin. The prefixes of your cats will be reserved for that time if you show interest of rejoining.

Depending on your member rank depends on how much you are required to be on. Trusted members and staff will be the first to receive special positions in the Clans, as well as plots. With that in mind, they must be on five days a week for one hour. Regular and new members, unless they have been granted a special position, will be required to be on four days a week for one hour. Out of character posts do not count towards activity. Please inform your head moderator or the admin if you will be absent from the role-play and need a hiatus status. Hiatuses, unless we have been given a time frame, will be valid for the duration of two weeks from the moment it was assigned. Afterwards, you will be contacted to discuss an extension or how to reintroduce you into the role-play. If you use post templates, all fonts must be legible and all colors must be somewhat easy to see. If they are not, I will ask you to not use your coding on the pages.

Please join with the appropriate form on the appropriate page for your characters. If your form is found unsatisfactory, you will be asked to edit it and reapply. If there is a spot open in a family tree, please apply for that position before making a standalone character. You may appropriately request for relationships in your form. Please keep to genetics as close as possible. For specifics regarding queens and kits, please see the Clan Systems section located on the joining page. We will accept a maximum of ten apprentices per Clan, with each person allowed two. It is highly advised you check the Mentors and Apprentices section before joining with a senior apprentice. Windclan | Windclan border | Sparrowflight | Mid-morning
The younger she-cat listened to the tom about Harepaw, she didn't dare interrupt. As she continues to follow and listen she looked at her surroundings for a bit but not wanting to get completely distracted by the moor.
"She was lucky to be not caught," she mewed quietly she was grateful Harepaw was not harmed. Speckleheart knew something might be said if they have caught of a whiff of their scent. Although, she hopes that they didn't notice and Harepaw would be alright. She then noticed the tom had stopped and gone beside him. The border was vast at least to her that is she didn't get to see the borders often. The diluted tortie stayed with hunting patrols but she can honestly say this is different. She followed the tom through the wheat and the heather. Once again she felt them rubbing up against her pelt.

Dawnwatcher skidded to a stop in a less than elegant fashion at the edge of Sunningrocks, the thunderclan warrior's paws slipping into the cold water and she let out a sharp yelp at the sudden cool against her dark grey fur. For the sake of her dignity she tried to appear as though she hadn't noticed, but her tail tip still quivered at the sensation of the freezing cold against her paws. Looking back to her leader, panting as she laughed, waiting for him to catch up to her she called out with a playful tone of voice. "Hurry up Tigerstar!" She called with a grin, "I've seen the elders run quicker," the grin didn't leave her expression.

t i g e r s t a r [ dawn | thunderclan | near sunningrocks on thunderclan's side ]  Tigerstar trotted up beside Dawnwatcher, sniffing in aggravation. He had a cut on his face, which trickled a little blood. It wasn't much to worry about. However, his pride was something he had to worry about. The race was going in the ThunderClan leader's favor. That was until he looked back, tripped over the root of a strong maple, and landed on his face. Dawnwatcher took the lead and overall won the race.
He held his chin up high, ignoring the pain in his face and the sting of the cut on his cheek. He'd have Mossfall, the ThunderClan medicine cat, look at it later. The tabby tom shook his pelt as they neared Sunningrocks. They were close to the border, so it wouldn't hurt to check it and mark it again. Instead of responding to Dawnwatcher's taunt, he simply ignored it, wanting to be the bigger cat. The tabby tom padded past her to mark the border real quick. Then he proceeded to sniff the air, looking for more prey.
He held in a growl when he smelled something fishy. The tom's eyes narrowed and he looked at Dawnwatcher. "RiverClan." he whispered before stalking into the undergrowth. The tom eyed Sunningrocks, frustration building inside him. It's been a while since ThunderClan lost the precious landmark. However, no matter how much time passed, they still felt sore about the defeat. [@stormpetal, @silvey, & fuzzle]
s p a r r o w f l i g h t [ dawn | windclan | windclan-riverclan border ]  "Exactly!" he hissed, though his aggravation wasn't towards the she-cat. His voice was low, as they would need to talk quietly around the border. RiverClan may be their ally, but he wasn't too keen on meeting a patrol. Trouble could brew in an instance. He would rather avoid it all and let the headache of their alliance, and what breaks it, be up to their leaders. The tom padded along, sniffing the scent markers and remarking them.
He turned to Speckleheart to speak. "So why haven't you settled down yet?" he asked. If it was an invasion of her privacy, he'd apologize. However the she-cat was about the same age as him, surely she'd settle down by now? Of course, she was young still. In a way, Sparrowflight regretted settling down so young, but he never regretted Harepaw. He and his mate hadn't gotten along well after she found out she was expecting. They had differing opinions on kits, as she didn't want them so soon. On the other paw, he didn't mind having them that early. Sometimes, Sparrowflight wondered if she ever wanted a litter of their own. Luckily they had Harepaw and while she treated her fairly okay, there was a distance between mother and daughter. Needless to say, the two weren't too fond of each other and Harepaw was closer to Sparrowflight.
Looking back, Sparrowflight wasn't even sure if Harepaw was saddened by her mother's somewhat recent death. She was one of the first in WindClan to catch fowlcough. She was also fairly decent in appearance, Harepaw had more beauty to her, but her mother was average at most. Speckleheart, though, seemed to be pretty or so Sparrowflight thought. Even though he admired her looks, he would never moon after her. Not only was his mate's death too recent, but Speckleheart wasn't his type. Appearance wasn't everything. While the she-cat was happy with her prey she couldn't help but smell something at first she couldn't place her paw on it, and then her eyes narrowed. Thunderclan fur balls were near their rocks. Her white fur bristled and she snarled, she stalked her way to the rocks, before leaping on top of them. Her heterochromia eyes showed anger but she raised her head high looking down at the two intruders.
"What are you two mouse-brains doing here?" she asked her tail flickering angrily. She didn't like these two snooping around and was starting to get suspicious of them. She didn't care what they were doing she wanted them gone the rocks now belonged to Riverclan. Maybe they need a little reminder.
"I'm guessing you've forgotten Tigerstar," she mewed in a mocking tone, "these rocks belong to us now." Her tail flickered around behind her she was very amused. She might take this a step further, she had no regard for any other clan but she may wait for these furballs to respond or just the leader she didn't care.

The diluted tortie winced a bit with his aggravation but it was understandable if she had a son or daughter who had done that she would've been the same way, and then he asked why she hasn't settled down. This question caught her off guard but she was going to answer.
"I just haven't found the right tom yet I suppose. And with all of our duties, it's hard to focus on whoever I like," she mewed softly. To think about it she hasn't really interacted with any of the tom's she has met she's interested in some sure. However, she hasn't really thought about a relationship since she takes being a warrior seriously. What Sparrowflight asked her made her actually think. Although right now she was busy with a border patrol and she certainly didn't want to get so wrapped up in her thoughts. She pushed them aside and paid attention once more although the tom's question ringing in her head.

His eyes narrowed at Lilycloud, as the she-cat dared to taunt ThunderClan. Right now, there wasn't need for a fight, at least one instigated by ThunderClan. Instead, he remained on his side of the border, ready to taunt her. If he could get Lilycloud to misplace her step, he'd have the upper paw. The tabby tom ignored her insult, knowing full well that she wasn't alone. He would win this battle of wits, someway somehow. "Oh, I haven't forgotten, Lilycloud." Tigerstar coolly responded. "Though aren't RiverClan cats taught the code? We have full right to protect and watch our border. If you can smell the scent markers, you'd have enough sense to realize we're on our side of the border. However, if this isn't good enough for you, giving us Sunningrocks back could ease your mind. We wouldn't cross the river so your territory would be safe." he added, trying to resist the urge from insulting her. He had to act mature. If he remembered correctly, Lilycloud was always a pawful. "Soon enough, these stones will be ours, fish-breath." he thought to himself. He wouldn't dare reveal that he was planning a raid on them. The element of surprise needed to be on their side. With fowlcough rampant, we don't exactly have free reign on the moor." he meowed, referring to how they couldn't add birds to the pile. Their leader mentioned that sick birds carrying fowlcough would smell similar to carrionplace in ShadowClan. The tabby remember the scent of that horrid place well from their last battle a while back. It was something he doesn't think he could ever forget. "At least we don't have to worry about ThunderClan and ShadowClan for now. When was the last time they attacked us?" he asked Speckleheart. He wasn't quite sure about that. [@silvey ] |

The fluffy white she-cat wasn't going to let his mockery get the best of her she might get a little heated during the moments, but she sure isn't going to let the Thunderclan leader get under her fur. She gave a slight huff of annoyance but actually laid down on the rocks glaring at the two cats.
"Of course, they teach us the code," she gave a soft growl, "I don't care whose border you're on I don't trust you. I don't trust any Clan." She hated other clan cats and this is probably why she isn't allowed on border patrols because she would probably pick fights with the other clans. She didn't care however, she stayed quiet for a bit she wasn't going to insult the tom any further. She flicked her tail in annoyance calculating things in her head. She remained cold and unmoving she was listening to the sounds around her.

The diluted tortie nodded an agreement. She was worried about this new illness not so much about getting it herself, but the loss. Speckleheart didn't like watching her clan mates suffer over losing their loved ones. It honestly wasn't fair, but nothing was ever fair. She knew the ones that have passed are watching over them up above in Starclan. The she-cat felt sympathy for the tom. She didn't want to bring it up due to it probably a pain in his heart still and didn't want him to be in any more pain.
"Hopefully this illness will go away and can leave the Clans alone," she mewed softly. While she wanted it to leave, she knew it wasn't going to be simple. Since they couldn't hunt birds things have gotten trickery, but she'd rather for it to be hard then get anyone else sick.

(Sorry, went to see infinity war yesterday at the midnight showing so wasn't on due to lateness XD)
Dawnwatcher shifted uncomfortably beside her clanmate, not willing to get into unnecessary conflict after everything the clans had been through in the recent moons. She did, however, allow a low growl to slip from her lips when the other cat insulted her clan. Ears flattening a little but it was tainted by a laugh which was plagued with sarcasm, her long grey tail twitching from side to side in a clear show of frustration.
"Perhaps RiverClan should find better warriors if their own clanmate doesn't trust her clan," she had manipulated the words to have different meaning of course, but it was a low blow either way.

He flashed her a look, showing his approval of her twist. The tom turned back to Lilycloud, and straightened up.
"And you expect us to trust you? For a cat that seems to trust no one, your Clan seems to think otherwise. I guess behind a river's current is a strong wind." Tigerstar added, narrowing his blue eyes. The ThunderClan leader emphasized the word "wind" to get a reaction out of her. It was known RiverClan and WindClan were allies, if he would get a warrior going about how they didn't need WindClan to help them, taking Sunningrocks would be easier.
The tabby tom wasn't looking to make allies of his own, he wanted to prove that ThunderClan can be strong without anyone else's paw. Talonstar took defeat so easily, and he never did redeem himself after that battle. Morale was low for moons. Tigerstar wanted to bring glory to ThunderClan, however he needed to cool his ambition and think.
What was said now could bite him in the flank, but it can also get back to Fernstar of WindClan. Perhaps she wouldn't appreciate hearing her allies were talking about how they couldn't trust them. Especially when it was heavily implied that WindClan worked with RiverClan to help get Sunningrocks back. [@stormpetal , @silvey , & fuzzle] |

The fluffy white she-cat only scoffed, she did hate when they tried to play mind games with her. It did ruffle her fur once they brought up Windclan.
"Oh please don't toy with my head," she spat at them both.
"I respect Windclan after all they helped us. Although right now what has been discussed stays between Duckstar and Fernstar. And I'd rather if you stopped trying to play these foolish games to twist my words around." She then looked Tigerstar right into his blue eyes. She was tired of this tom's arrogant attitude it was about time she made him feel small. Her whiskers twitched in amusement while her eyes remained cold.
"I have to admit if I have to choose between having allies and suffering an embarrassing defeat I'd take the allies. Talonstar just gave up he didn't even put up a fight he just gave up. Even then he didn't bother reclaiming these rocks to defend his title nor defend your Clan's title." Her tail flickered around hoping to strike a nerve, hoping to make him mad.

t i g e r s t a r [ dawn | thunderclan | near sunningrocks on thunderclan's side ] Talonstar was a tough vole to swallow for Tigerstar. He looked up to him despite the embarrassing defeat. He hated to admit it, but Talonstar did nothing after ThunderClan lost Sunningrocks. All he did was prepare the Clan for another raid. The former leader was never good at strategy or predicting the enemy's next move. Soon enough, RiverClan will be regretting ever challenging and taunting the mighty warriors of ThunderClan.
Tigerstar closed his eyes and sighed his frustrations out. Lilycloud was a foxhearted scoundrel and he'd love nothing more than to rip her fur. However, he couldn't get like that. He was Clan leader and he knew she was trying to get him to attack. He opened his eyes, glittering with amusement instead of burning with rage. His gaze softened and he looked on at Lilycloud like she was pathetic. "You admit your Clan is too weak to fight us alone. You respect cats that dirty their paws and show no restraint nor respect." he began to respond, cocking his head to the left. He furrowed his brow and looked down, acting as if he was in thought.
The ThunderClan leader's eyes flickered up. "Talonstar is gone, why focus on the past, Lilycloud? Dwelling on it only gets cats into trouble. You act so victorious because we didn't fight for Sunningrocks. That happened seasons ago. ThunderClan has no need to look at that loss, we only look to the future. Your "glory" is over. It ended the moment Otterstar leaped into that river to save those kits." His tail flicked back and forth.
Curiosity got the better of him, along with pettiness. "I wonder.. did those kits survive the fowlcough outbreak?" Tigerstar pondered. "I had heard several RiverClan cats died due to fowlcough. Didn't WindClan come to the last Gathering without their deputy, too?" asked the ThunderClan tom in a suggestive tone. His implications were obvious. "Oof. That certainly doesn't look good for you. Looks like your rabbit-eaters can't come to your rescue if Mallowstar gets an itch in her claws." [@stormpetal , @silvey , & fuzzle] |

Dawnwatcher rested her long grey tail against the shoulder of her leader, an attempt to calm the tom down in spite of the insults being thrown in their face. It wouldn't look good on ThunderClan if they were the one to instigate a fight, and she didn't want her friend getting hurt without it being a necessity. She had large doubts that the enemy would be kind enough to let the pair of them get out of this without being potentially seriously injured, and whilst the warrior was willing to fight. It was only where she felt it was a necessity, and not out of the sheer thrill of a battle. Dawnwatcher couldn't help the glare she found herself sending the other warrior though, annoyance bristling through her pelt, and quickly turning to anger with every word coming from her lips.
However, her tail all but leapt off the shoulder of her friend at the kit comment. Her ears flattening until they were pressed to her skull at that comment. It was low, and the shecat knew such as a mother who no longer had kits to call her own. Part of Dawnwatcher hated him for the words that came from the leader in that moment.

Lilycloud snarled at the leader she was tired of him. She honestly didn't know how to respond to him for once the she-cat didn't have a snarky come back but her narrowed and her ears flattened.
"You're pathetic," she stated lamely she had nothing her mind was blank she hated him more. She then heard him mention about their kits and she looked at Tigerstar. For once she didn't care if she stroke a nerve she was disappointed in him. While she was cruel she would never mention the subject of losing kits she didn't know a pain of losing the but watching her clan mates lose their children was heartbreaking.
"What about your own Clan? Did they not lose their own kits?" she asked this not out of malice. Her voice was soft and calm. She didn't want to be disrespectful on this matter this was a touchy subject. While she had a hatred for Thunderclan she would never wish that pain on anyone. After all, she's not that heartless.

Dawnwatcher very barely bit back the snarl which threatened to rip from her throat, forcing herself not to let out a growl as she spoke as firmly as she could manage in spite of the pain in her tone of voice. "The death of the kits to anyone is a tragedy," she spoke with surprising calm considering the subject matter. "And the death of a kit is nobodies fault, both in ThunderClan and RiverClan," she spoke with a meaningful glare at her leader. For the lost kits were her own and it was all too soon to hear the death of kits tossed around as an insult. Especially not from her own leader after he too had lost a litter of his own. "And it is not our place to treat their deaths as something to be hurled about like 'mousebrain' or 'foxheart,'" with that last part she allowed a growl to slip from her. She was deadly serious.

The fluffy white she-cat looked at Dawnwatcher with sympathy she was no longer the sassy cruel furball she was earlier but now soft-spoken and calm.
"I'm sorry for your loss." She then gave a stern look to Tigerstar it wasn't out of malice for once.
"She is right, after all, you lost yours and you shouldn't bring up as an insult to others. While I may not understand it certainly isn't right to do that." She flicked her tail around she didn't know what to say or do right now. She didn't know if the Thunderclan leader would get onto with her insults and she wouldn't mind. For right now she honestly didn't know what to say.

The pretty warrior seemed genuinely taken aback by the warriors kind words, her ears twitching forward as a show of quiet astonishment but she said nothing regarding her surprise. Merely looking down at her grey paws with a sigh, "Thanks," it was an empty word. No matter how many apologies she recieved for her loss, it would never bring Primrosekit or Snowkit back to her. She'd have given her own life a thousand times over to simply see their faces again, and have them still curled up at her belly and not under the ground.
