It is always a matter of choice, and sometimes the heart speaks loudest. Deep down, I always knew what I had to do, and that's why I came back to the Clan. Whatever else happens, I trust you to know the right thing to do as well. Listen to your heart, Lionblaze, because that's where your true destiny lies."

In this role-play, you will be expected to reply more than three sentences per role-play post. You will also be required to read all information, especially regarding the Clans, rules, and special systems we have in place. This role-play has special systems to help the overall function of it. Due to these systems, some things may not turn in your favor. This includes character death, illness, and injuries. If this bothers you, it is highly advised you do not join. If you have any questions or concerns, contact the admin of this role-play, ʀᴀɪɴʟᴇᴀғ 🍁 via private message.
{ ♦ } consequences - - Be aware of the consequences of your actions. When a rule is broken by a member, they will receive a verbal warning. Three verbal warnings will equal a star. When a members receives a star, they will receive a punishment. This can range from apprentices being held back a moon, to a mentor losing their apprentice, or demotion of a rank. Three stars will equal a deletion. At that point, you must wait two weeks to rejoin. The prefixes of your cats will be reserved for that time if you show interest of rejoining.
{ ♦ } requirements - - Depending on your member rank depends on how much you are required to be on. Trusted members and staff will be the first to receive special positions in the Clans, as well as plots. With that in mind, they must be on five days a week for one hour. Regular and new members, unless they have been granted a special position, will be required to be on four days a week for one hour. Out of character posts do not count towards activity. Please inform your head moderator or the admin if you will be absent from the role-play and need a hiatus status. Hiatuses, unless we have been given a time frame, will be valid for the duration of two weeks from the moment it was assigned. Afterwards, you will be contacted to discuss an extension or how to reintroduce you into the role-play. If you use post templates, all fonts must be legible and all colors must be somewhat easy to see. If they are not, I will ask you to not use your coding on the pages.
{ ♦ } characters - - Please join with the appropriate form on the appropriate page for your characters. If your form is found unsatisfactory, you will be asked to edit it and reapply. If there is a spot open in a family tree, please apply for that position before making a standalone character. You may appropriately request for relationships in your form. Please keep to genetics as close as possible. For specifics regarding queens and kits, please see the Clan Systems section located on the information page. We will accept a maximum of ten apprentices per Clan, with each person allowed two. It is highly advised you check the Mentors and Apprentices section before joining with a senior apprentice. Please have your names make sense, however some creativity will obviously be allowed.
{ ♦ } canon & non-canon - - To a degree, this role-play will touch upon canon characters in the books as events. You will note that we have a cut-off point and inserted our own generations to build a great gap. To prevent any continuity errors, we kindly ask that you not relate your cats to any canon cats, but with permission from the staff, you may relate yourself to past non-canon leaders, medicine cats, and deputies if they are available. The intent of creating our own lore is to allow everyone to be able to forge their own path with connections to history, adding details that can impact their dreams and ambitions. Our goal here is to create a genuine and original take on the Clans by trying to immerse ourselves in the Warriors world. Breaking the canon continuity can shatter this goal, so we ask everyone refrain from such. — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — { a c k n o w l e d g e m e n t s — — The sources for the content on this page come from the Warriors Wiki and Enter the Clans. { c l a n s y s t e m s — — [ Mentors & Apprentices ] There will be special requirements for mentors and apprentices. In some cases, like if we have an abundance of apprentices, this may warped to fit the situation. Before making an apprentice or requesting an apprentice, we all kindly ask that you read this important information. Thank you. Warriors under eighteen moons may not receive an apprentice.* They have not fully developed and matured, despite their training. *However, if need be, a warrior between thirteen to eighteen moons may be given an apprentice. This is only in special cases and must be approved by the admin(s). Warrior apprentices below ten moons must complete two battle training sessions and two hunting training sessions. In addition to their training, they will need to have two assessments, participate in a battle, and visit the Moonstone/Moonpool. Senior warrior apprentices ten moons or above must complete one battle training session and one hunting training session. They must complete their final assessment and participate in a battle. It will be assumed that they have traveled to the Moonstone/Moonpool unless the owner of the apprentice states otherwise and is under twelve moons. Medicine cat apprentices must complete two sessions of battle training, two sessions of hunting training, one session of medical training, and one session of spiritual training. Medicine cats are apprentices until their mentor has retired, stepped down, or died even if they have earned their full name. Relations between mentor and apprentice will be monitored and may have in role-play consequences. Neglecting training sessions may result in the reassignment of an apprentice no matter the person at fault. Failure to complete your apprenticeship requirements will result in your apprentice training for a longer time. You may request a name for your apprentice, but the current leader will decide on the final name. [ Deputies ] Deputies must have mentored at least one apprentice before being appointed by the Clan leader. They are responsible for many tasks. They are to assist their leader and are a sort of "apprentice leader." They organize patrols and listen to reports, reporting to their leader if the matter is urgent. They are to substitute for the leader and in battles if the leader is not available. For the role-play, we will look at warriors thirty-six moons and older when appointing a deputy. We will only give the role to an active and contributing member. [ Expecting Queens ] You must ask the admin or higher staff if you may make a queen. Unless there is special permission granted by the admin, the queen must have a mate or father for the kits. You may ask a member, but may not pester, if they can father the queen's kits. You must role-play one moon between the two before the queen may birth. Permanent queens without a mate or kits are allowed, but they must have had a litter prior to becoming a permanent queen. Orphan kits are not allowed unless there is special permission from the admin. [ Forbidden Romances ] Each Clan may have one forbidden romance every twelve moons. Timeskips will be included in the counter. The only exception to this if if the forbidden romance is part of the main plot. Below is the form that both members wanting a forbidden romance must complete. The staff will discuss the form and deliver the verdict within a week. Every moon is two weeks real time. Please note anyone that is not full-blooded will most likely be discriminated against.
What can this forbidden romance do for the overall plot: Answer Why do you want a forbidden romance: Answer Which cat, or cats, will be involved in the romance: Answer What is the long-term goal for this forbidden romance: Answer [ Outsiders ] If you join with an outsider, they must have a purpose. That purpose must be stated in the joining form. They will remain near one Clan territory and the owner of the character will need to ask permission if they wish to move the outsider to another territory. The outsider cannot necessarily move as they please, as certain circumstances will cause them to be caught. The outsider does not need to be role-played all the time, as they can disappear and reappear, but we must have indication that they are near the Clan's territory. [ NPCs ] After a member has been role-playing for a week, they may trial new cats that they may want to create. The trial will last for two weeks and if they wish to create them as their legitimate character, then they must fill out a proper form. If they find that the character is not suitable for them, the character will become an NPC for the Clan. The form for an NPC is similar to a legitimate form, save for some changes. If the original creator leaves the role-play, the NPC will be killed off. Here is the form for NPC's: name | age in moons [ negative & neutral & positive ] Description NPC [ Continuity ] When a member is removed from the role-play, we will take different actions to ensure the continuity of the role-play. It depends on the manner in which the member left and how many characters they had. It also depends on how many truly interacted with the other members of the Clan(s). We have three basic paths to take once the member has left: ● The character can become a temporary NPC, only being mentioned rarely and never role-played by other cats. This is with the member's permission if they take leave and alert us. ● The character is killed off in some kind of plot, concluding their arc and allowing continuity to flow. All high ranking characters will be killed off if their owner falls inactive or leaves. ● The character will be replaced by another cat created by another member if the character has a family and mate. If the character was barely role-played (below five posts), then it is not a noteworthy interaction and the character will simply be deleted. Yes, it is a bit messy, but this is only in the extreme case of a member being rejected from the role-play. [ Primaries & Secondaries & Tertiary ] In this role-play, we will cover absences made by the staff as a team. Keep in mind that all pages will be ran by the sole admin, but monitoring and keeping the thread alive requires the help of head moderators. There will be one admin and three head moderators, and four moderators. This system has three terms: ● A Primary is the head moderator of a Clan. It is also the admin, which will have full access to all Clans and will update all pages on Saturdays. ● A Secondary is a head moderator that has their own Clan to run, but will help in the absence of a primary. Head moderators also may accept or deny a member, issue warnings, and recap important events for their Clan, however they must discuss it with the admin to delete a member. ● A Tertiary is a moderator that will help the head moderator and admin run the role-plays and issue warnings with supervision. The sole admin will also help run the Clan with the absent head moderator, but this system is to help the sole admin keep the role-play running smoothly. The Clans will follow a rotation: The head mod running RiverClan is the secondary to WindClan, the head mod running WindClan is the secondary to ThunderClan, the head mod running ThunderClan is secondary to ShadowClan, the head mod running ShadowClan is secondary to RiverClan. Regardless of this system, the admin's word is law, as it is their role-play.

— — c h a n c e c h a r t s } In this role-play, we will be using a system called "chance charts." The concept is simple, we have arranged charts to display the chances of something happening to a character in different situations. Everyone will have a character impacted by these charts in some way, and there will be no exceptions in normal circumstances. The only exceptions would be a character needing to be kept alive for a plot or something similar. Nevertheless, it will be a rare occurrence. We will be using a virtual dice roll and a virtual coin flip. Admins will screenshot the results and hold then for two days, then are free to delete them. Time and date must be shown on these screenshots. Below are the charts, please take some time to read them. [ Illnesses ] Below are the chances for a character to get sick from an outbreak or a seasonal outbreak. For an abnormal outbreak, all cats will be considered and a coin will be flipped for each individual to determine if they catch it or not. For a seasonal outbreak, only half of the Clan will go through this process. From that point, a dice is rolled to determine the severity of illness for each individual. There are six stages. Kit and elders will have two dice rolled as they have double the chance to catch it. The dice and coin will be flipped twice for them. Once the decision is made, it will be role-played out. The secondary to the Clan will roll the dice for the primary. ➥ The first stage is a cough and slight symptoms. They can be easily cured before the next Gathering. ➥ The second stage is mild symptoms where they may take longer than two weeks real time to recover. They also become slightly contagious and are restricted from hunting patrols to prevent the illness spreading via prey. ➥ The third stage with full blown whitecough symptoms. Cats are restricted to camp, but may help with small tasks like rebuilding the camp walls. ➥ The fourth stage where the cat begins to show signs of greencough. They are restricted from assisting with tasks near the nursery and elders den. ➥ The fifth stage where greencough is confirmed. They are confined to the medicine cat's den and must rest. Symptoms are mild to severe. ➥ The sixth and final stage where the cat dies from greencough. [ Battles ] Battles can be bloody and take many lives, however they can also be quick, simple, and result to little or no injuries. While any cat can die at any time during a battle, we have decided to make it less likely for death for small battles. Therefore, battles over borders or small strips of territory like Sunningrocks will only go to stage four unless there is a consistent conflict between the two Clans like war. However, battles near the gorge or thunderpath will have a special coin flip to determine if they will meet the terms of a small battle or large battle due to the danger of the location. To prevent a Clan losing more warriors than necessary, the death toll for a Clan will be five in big battles in three in small battles. A small battle patrol must consist of seven cats while a big patrol must consist of eleven. ➥ The first stage where the cat only suffers minor scratches. If anything, fur will be ripped out. Ears may be torn as well. ➥ The second stage where the cat only suffers a few minor gashes and blood is visible. They do require some medical treatment. ➥ The third stage where the cat suffers from larger and worse gashes. They are not at risk of death, but infection can easily set in if not treated quickly. ➥ The fourth stage where the cat suffers complete bodily injuries and needs assistance for traveling back to camp. They may risk death by blood loss if they prolong treatment. ➥ The fifth stage in which the cat may suffer from a major injury like blinding, broken bones, and other major injuries in addition to major gashes in which blood loss is an issue. They must be immediately sent back to camp or face death. ➥ The sixth stage in which the wounds are far too much and the cat dies. They do not have to suffer a broken bone or a wound similar, but they have either not made it in time for treatment, lost too much blood, or suffered a severe blow on the scene of the battle. [ Litter Sizes ] In the case of a real matter, she-cats normally can birth up to nine kittens. However, we will keep to the average, so the maximum amount of kits a queen can have is six. Genders and descriptions will be up to owners of the parents, but the size will be determined here. A mutation, defect, and mortality generator will also be up to the parents, but please keep them in moderation and have an accurate portrayal. There is truly no need in thoroughly explaining as it is pretty self-explanatory. The admin will flip a coin and if the coin lands on heads, the litter will be bigger than three. If the coin lands on tails, the litter will be smaller. The admin will then throw a dice to determine how many. Keep in mind that if the coin hit tails, the number can not be higher than three and if the coin landed on heads, the litter can not be bigger than six. The owners of the parents reserve the right to have one kit if they wish, but if they want more than one, they will need to go through this process. The maximum litters a she-cat can have is three.

{ c e r e m o n i e s — — The ceremonies have been written out and coded so the admins and leaders do not have to look up the words each time. It is recommended that leaders and admins use these, but it will not be forced. ● Apprentice Ceremony - An apprentice ceremony is performed when a kit is ready to take on apprentice training, usually at the age of six moons old. When a kit turns six moons old, they are ready to become an apprentice. Until this time, their name ends with the "-kit" suffix. When a kit becomes an apprentice, their name is changed so that the suffix of their name becomes "-paw", showing the path their paws are on. ➥ The Clan leader calls a Clan meeting to appoint a new apprentice and assign a mentor to them. The following words are used, by tradition: ➤ Leader: (Kit), you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as (new name, ending with "paw"). Your mentor will be (name of warrior or medicine cat). I hope (name of warrior or medicine cat) will pass down all he/she knows on to you. ➥ The leader calls up the warrior he/she has chosen as a mentor. ➤ Leader: (Warrior), you are ready to take on an apprentice. You had received excellent training from (former mentor), and you have shown yourself to be (quality) and (quality). You will be the mentor of (apprentice), and I expect you to pass on all you know to (apprentice). ➥ The mentor touches noses with the apprentice, and the Clan greets the new apprentice by calling out their name.
● Medicine Cat Apprentice Ceremony - It follows a similar procedure as a warrior apprentice's ceremony. However, the medicine cat is included and the ceremony is not complete without the trip to the Moonstone for StarClan's acceptance. In between the time of the ceremony held before the Clan and before StarClan, the apprentice does still train. ➥ The leader calls a Clan meeting, after the Clan's medicine cat announces that they wish to mentor an apprentice. The following words are used, by tradition: ➤ Medicine Cat: Cats of (Clan), as you know, I will not be around forever. So it's time I took an apprentice. I have chosen a cat who has shown (virtues). Your next medicine cat will be (apprentice). ➤ Leader: (Apprentice), do you accept the post of apprentice to (medicine cat)? ➤ Apprentice: I do. ➤ Medicine Cat: Then at the half-moon, you must travel to the Moonstone to be accepted by StarClan before the other medicine cats. ➤ Leader: The good wishes of all (Clan) will go with you. ➥ The mentor touches noses with the apprentice, and the Clan greets the new apprentice. ◎ At the next half moon, the medicine cat goes with the apprentice to the Clans' sacred place to present them to the warrior ancestors, where the apprentice confirms their wish to be a medicine cat. The following words are used, by tradition: ➤ Medicine Cat: (Apprentice), is it your wish to enter the mysteries of StarClan as a medicine cat? ➤ Apprentice: It is. ➤ Medicine Cat: Then come forward. ➤ Medicine Cat: Warriors of StarClan, I present you with this apprentice. (He/she) has chosen the path of a medicine cat. Grant (him/her) your wisdom and insight so that (he/she) may understand your ways and heal (his/her) Clan in accordance with your will. ➥ The medicine cat apprentice touches his/her nose to the Moonstone, Then the medicine cat and the apprentice lay down and have a dream from StarClan.
● Warrior Cermony - A warrior ceremony is a ceremony in which an apprentice finally gets their warrior name and becomes a full fledged warrior of their Clan. An apprenticeship usually lasts six moons or more. Once the mentor is satisfied with the apprentice's progress and skills, they recommend them to the leader of the Clan. Then, the apprentice must pass an assessment, when their abilities as a warrior are checked. In cases when the apprentice has just made an important contribution to the Clan, the leader may decide that there is no need for an assessment. Before an apprentice becomes a warrior, they must visit the Moonstone to receive a dream of their destiny. ➥ If the Clan Leader is satisfied, they call a Clan Meeting and call the apprentice. The following words are used, by tradition: ➤ Leader: I, (Leader), leader of (Clan), call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. (He/she) has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend (him/her) to you as a warrior in (his/her) turn. ➤ Leader: (Apprentice), do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life? ➤ Apprentice: I do. ➤ Leader: Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. (Apprentice), from this moment you will be known as (new warrior name). StarClan honors your (virtues), and we welcome you as a full warrior of (Clan). ➥ The leader rests their muzzle on the apprentice's head, and the apprentice licks the leader's shoulder. The rest of the Clan then greets the new warrior by calling them by their new name. The warrior will sit a silent vigil guarding the camp that night, except if that is not possible.
● Dying Warrior Ceremony - When an apprentice is on the verge of death and has proven themself to be worthy of a warrior name, there is a special ceremony used so that the apprentice may take a warrior name to StarClan. ➤ Leader: I ask my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. (He/She) has learned the warrior code and given up (his/her) life in the service of (his/her) Clan. Let StarClan receive (him/her) as a warrior. (He/She) will be known as (new name).
● Medicine Cat Ceremony - A medicine cat ceremony is a ceremony in which a medicine cat apprentice finally gets their well earned medicine cat name, because their mentor approves of their work. Apprenticeship for medicine cats usually lasts much longer than those for warriors. The cat must learn about all available herbs and remedies, and the treatment of diseases and injuries. ➥ Once the Clan's medicine cat is satisfied with the apprentice's knowledge, they go to the Clans' sacred place. This is the only ceremony that is not performed by the Leader. The following words are used, by tradition: ➤ Medicine Cat: I, (name), medicine cat of ___Clan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. (He/she) has trained hard to understand the ways of a medicine cat, and with your help (he/she) will serve (his/her) Clan for many moons. ➤ Medicine Cat: ___paw, do you promise to uphold the ways of a medicine cat, to stand apart from rivalry between Clan and Clan and to protect all cats equally, even at the cost of your life? ➤ Apprentice: I do. ➤ Medicine Cat: Then by the powers of StarClan I give you your true name as a medicine cat. ___paw, from this moment you will be known as (new name). StarClan honors your (virtues), and we welcome you as a full medicine cat of (Clan). ➥ The medicine cat rests their muzzle on the apprentice's head, and they lick the mentor's shoulder. The other medicine cats greet them by their new name.
● Deputy Ceremony - A deputy ceremony is when a Clan leader names the Clan's new deputy. This happens when the previous deputy dies, retires, is exiled, or is promoted to leader. According to the warrior code, a new deputy must be appointed before moonhigh that day. There are exceptions, however. Occasionally, a Clan leader does not announce the new deputy before moonhigh. This can be because: they are physically or emotionally unwell, or they are unsure whether the previous deputy is alive. If the ceremony is not performed in time, it is sometimes seen as a bad omen. If the deputy dies in battle, the Clan Leader might choose to appoint the new deputy whilst still fighting, instead of waiting to return to the camp. ➤ Leader: I say these words before StarClan, so that the spirits of our warrior ancestors (or former deputy name) may hear and approve of my choice. The new deputy of (Clan) is (warrior's name).
● Leader Ceremony - A leadership ceremony is the ceremony in which, when the leader dies or retires, the deputy receives their nine lives and their leader name with the suffix -star. ➥ The new leader goes to the Moonstone with the Clan's medicine cat. After touching the stone, the new leader cannot move for a short period of time, because their old life is being ripped away so they can receive nine new ones. Upon awakening, cats of StarClan come down from Silverpelt. Nine cats, normally ones who were significant during the new leader's life, although this is not always the case,[ give them their nine lives with these words: ➤ Life-Giver: (Touches nose to the top of the new leader's head) With this life I give you (gift). Use it well (to, in, as, for, etc.) (use of gift). ➥ When all of the lives have been given, normally the previous leader says these words: ➤ Previous Leader: Previous Leader: I hail you by your new name, _____star. Your old life is no more. You have now received the nine lives of a leader, and StarClan grants you the guardianship of ____Clan. Defend it well; care for young and old; honor your ancestors and the traditions of the warrior code; live each life with pride and dignity.
● Name Changing Ceremony - A name changing ceremony is a ceremony that takes place when a Clan Leader decides to give a Clan cat a new name. This is usually done when the cat's old name does not suit them anymore, or because of an injury. ➥ The leader calls a Clan Meeting, and performs the change with the following words: ➤ Leader: "Spirits of StarClan, you know every cat by name. I ask you now to take away the name from the cat you see before you, for it no longer stands for what he/she is. By my authority as Clan leader, and with the approval of our warrior ancestors, I give this cat a new name. From this moment on he/she will be known as (new name), for (description of the reason)."
● Elder Ceremony - An aging warrior, queen, or medicine cat may retire as an elder due to own initiative, when they feel they cannot help the Clan efficiently any more. A cat may also retire if they are hindered from serving their Clan through old age, illness, or injury. They report this to the Clan leader, who calls a Clan meeting and addresses the warrior. ➤ Leader: (Warrior), is it your wish to give up the name of a warrior and go to join the elders? ➤ Warrior: It is. ➤ Leader: Your Clan honors you and all the service you have given to us. I call upon StarClan to give you many moons of rest. ➥ The Clan will call out the retired warrior's name and then they will go to the elder's den. An elder may receive a completely different name, with a different ceremony, than keeping their warrior name. Usually, an elder ceremony is held only when a cat retires due to old age. If they are forced to retire because of a severe injury, there is no ceremony. — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — w a r r i o r c o d e } 1. Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from the other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle. 2. Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan’s territory. 3. Elders and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders. 4. Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life. 5. A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice. 6. Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name. 7. A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice. 8. The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies or retires. 9. After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh. 10. A gathering of all four Clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among Clans at this time. 11. Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats. 12. No warrior may neglect a kit in pain or in danger, even if that kit is from a different Clan. 13. The word of the Clan leader is the warrior code. 14. An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or it is necessary for self-defense. 15. A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet.

— — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — a i l m e n t s & t r e a t m e n t s } These are illnesses and their treatments. If there is a new illness created in the book with a treatment included, ʀᴀɪɴʟᴇᴀғ 🍁 will add them. Illnesses in the role-play will also be added, so be sure not to use if you do not have her permission. ● Chest Infections Information & Treatment: Whitecough and greencough are the most common chest infections known to the Clan cats. Whitecough is the milder form, but if untreated, it can develop into the much more severe greencough. Cats usually catch it during leaf-fall and leaf-bare, and sometimes it develops into large-scale epidemics. It can be fatal for elders and kits, and it has claimed the lives of several cats. It spreads quickly and is highly contagious. Medicine cats treat it using catmint. The first ThunderClan medicine cat, Cloudspots, found out that this was the best remedy. If fevers accompany the cough, tansy or borage is used as well. ● Poisoning Information & Treatment: Poisoning is the ingestion of a substance that causes harm to the body. If only a small quantity of poison is ingested, the cat usually just receives a bellyache, but larger amounts can cause death. Medicine cats treat these bellyaches with yarrow or nettle leaves, while mild bellyaches can be treated with juniper or watermint. If a cat has been severely poisoned they may become unconscious for a length of time. To make a cat potentially vomit the poison, immediately give them yarrow. ● Rat-Borne Infections Information & Treatment: The cats sometimes fall victims to infections carried by rats. One of these infections is called Carrionplace Disease. The first ShadowClan medicine cat, Pebbleheart, realized that rats were a source of disease. As ShadowClan cats sometimes ate the rats from the Carrionplace, they were prone to catch these diseases. It is a deadly and contagious disease. To cure the disease, use ragweed, juniper berries, chickweed, and honey. However, if the case is severe, then replace chickweed with catmint or add a little portion of catmint to help. Burdock root is used to stop infection from rat bites. ● Loss of Sensory Perception Information & Treatment: A cat may lose their eyesight or hearing due to old age. Or from accidents and infections, or birth defects. These conditions usually end their career as a warrior, as they cannot hunt or fight efficiently, and must retire as elders. Kits born with defects usually die young, unless they have special skills compensating it. Kits that are white with blue eyes have a higher chance of being born deaf. ● Joint Aches Information & Treatment: A condition usually associated with elders, the joints gradually degenerating with age, causing pain and difficulty to move. Damp environments can cause the appearance of this condition, so apprentices must make sure that the moss they gather for bedding is completely dry. It is usually treated using daisy or ragwort poultices. ● Toothache Information & Treatment: A toothache is caused by a cracked tooth, cavities, or an infection in the mouth. Alder bark is used to soothe the pain. ● Fever Information & Treatment: Fever is an abnormally high temperature of the body. It is not a disease in itself, but it usually signs the presence of an infection, such as greencough or an infected wound. If needed, it can be treated with feverfew, borage, or lavender. ● Chills Information & Treatment: Chills are mostly associated with cold weather or being submerged in cold water for a long period of time. Although this condition is mild and is not a disease, it has claimed lives. Kits and elders are more at risk of dying when they get a chill. Licking a cat's fur the wrong way gets the blood flowing again. A poultice of lavender, catmint and feverfew is also a good remedy. ● Wounds Information & Treatment: Wounds are injuries when the skin and the muscles beneath are torn, cut, or punctured. They may put a cat's life in danger due to blood loss, infections, or the damage of the organs. Wounds are the most common injuries, due to the cats always fighting enemy Clans, badgers, or foxes. Minor wounds heal on their own in no time, but severe wounds must be treated by a medicine cat. This treatment includes cleaning it thoroughly with the tongue, stopping the bleeding by pressing cobwebs on it, and applying poultices to prevent infection and help it to heal. Herbs used in the poultices include goldenrod, marigold, burdock root or (in the case of rat bites) wild garlic. If the wound becomes infected, chervil or horsetail is used as well. The pain can be eased with poppy seeds or willow bark. ● Sprains Information & Treatment: Sprains are injuries to ligaments of a joint, caused by being stretched beyond their normal capacity and possibly torn. It causes severe pain and decreased ability to move the joint. The cat must rest for several days. ● Joint Dislocation Information & Treatment: Joint dislocation is the displacement of a bone from its normal joint. Medicine cats treat this condition by first feeding the patient poppy seeds to make them sleepy so they don't feel it as much, and then forcing the limb back into the joint. ● Cracked Pads Information & Treatment: The paw pads may crack while walking long distances on hard surfaces, or due to cold weather. Elders are especially prone to this condition. It is treated with a poultice of coltsfoot or yarrow. Dock leaf poultices are also used to cool cracked pads. ● Broken Bones Information & Treatment: A broken bone is usually the result of an accident, such as falling down from a high place, or being hit by a monster. Cats most often break their legs, and while medicine cats try to bind the bone with cobwebs, the injury usually results in the cat remaining crippled for the rest of their life. A more severe injury is when a cat breaks their backbone. This results in the cat being unable to feel or move parts of their body. If the break is bad enough the cat will be killed on or shortly after impact. It is best to possibly make the patient swim in shallow water in hopes of exercising the injured limb or coming up with exercises to fit the patient's need.

{ b a t t l e m o v e s — — ● Back Kick - Explosive surprise move to catch opponent from behind. Judge opponent's distance from you carefully, then lash out with your back legs, taking all weight on your front paws. ● Belly Rake - A fight-stopper. Slice with unsheathed claws against the soft flesh of the opponent's belly. If you're pinned down, the belly rake quickly puts you back into control. ● Front Paw Blow - Frontal attack. Bring your front paw down hard on your opponent's head. Claws sheathed. ● Front Paw Strike - Frontal attack. Slice downward with your front paw at the face or body of your opponent. ● Killing Bite - A death blow to the back of the neck. Quick and silent and sometimes considered dishonorable. Used only as a last resort. ● Leap-and-hold - Ideal for a small cat facing a larger opponent. Spring onto opponent's back and grip with unsheathed claws. Now you are beyond the range of the opponent's paws and in position to inflict severe body wounds. A group of apprentices can defeat a large and dangerous warrior in this way. Watch for the drop-and-roll counter move, and try to jump free before you get squashed. ● Partner Fighting - Warriors who have trained and fought together will often fall instinctively into a defensive position, each protecting each other's back while fending off an opponent on either side. Slashing, clawing, and leaping together, battle pairs can be a whirlwind of danger for attackers. ● Play Dead - Effective in a tight situation, such as when you are pinned. Stop struggling and go limp. When your opponent relaxes their grip, thinking you are defeated, push yourself up explosively. This will throw off an unwary opponent and put you in attacking position. ● Scruff Shake - Secure a strong teeth grip in the scruff of your opponents neck; then shake violently until he or she is too rattled to fight back. Most effective against rats, who are small enough to throw. A strong throw will stun or kill them. ● Tail Yank - Grab your opponent's tail and yank it with such force your opponent is thrown off balance. ● Teeth Grip - Target your opponent's extremities- the legs, tail, scruff or ears- and sink in your teeth and hold. This move is similar to the leap-and-hold except your claws remain free to fight. ● Upright Lock - Final, crushing move on already weakened opponent. Rear up on back legs and bring weight down on opponent. If opponent does the same, wrestle and flip him under you. This makes you vulnerable to the belly rake, so it takes great strength and speed. ● Half-Turn Belly Rake - Turn onto your side, slip under the opponent's belly, rake it with your claws, then swiftly turn back onto all fours out from under your opponent. ● Badger Defense - Leap over opponent, turn on your back legs and bite opponent's leg. Used only when fighting badgers. ● Duck and Twist - Simple defensive move. The cat ducks then twists around, rolling over onto their back, and then springs to their paws. ● Jump and Pin - Complicated move. Leap backwards, and bounce off the wall. With precise accuracy, land on the cat. — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — u n i q u e t e c h n i q u e s } [ RiverClan ] ● Double-Front-Paw Slap-Down - Splash water into the enemy's face with your front paws, temporarily blinding them. ● Underwater Leg Sweep - Crouch under water, holding your breath. Then, sweep the legs from under your enemy as their head is raised above water-level; they struggle for breath, as other Clan cats naturally panic underwater. ● Push-Down and Release - Wrestle your enemy under water. Keep their head below water-level until they surrender, as other Clan cats don't know to hold their breath underwater. ● Underwater Clinch - Use your enemy's weight to hold them underwater. With a firm grip, raise them to the air so they can breathe, then send them under again. Do this repeatedly until the enemy gives up. ● Tail Splash - Similar to the Double Front-Paw Slap-Down, splash the water into your opponent's eyes with your tail, temporarily blinding them. ● Underwater Push-Off - Holding your breath, crouch below the water's surface. Aim an accurate pounce to the warrior on the water's edge, knocking them off-balance; the element of surprise should win you this battle. ● Rushpaw Splash - Flick a splash of water at a distance to create a decoy for the enemy, leaving room for a surprise attack. [ ShadowClan ] While ShadowClan does not have any unique battle moves known, they have what is called a night ambush. Below are the steps to use this tactic correctly. ● Hide in the shadows of the night with your patrol and your enemy spotted. ● Make sure your scent isn't drifting toward the attackers. ● Wait for the leader of the patrol to give the attack signal. ● Strike your enemy fast and hard; the enemy will be caught off-guard with a battle at night. ● Cut off all your enemy's escape routes, encircling them with your patrol. ● If they try to attack, battle again. If they do not, let them through with a warning. [ ThunderClan ] Like ShadowClan, ThunderClan has special battle tactics instead of battle "moves." These two tactics are called lightning strike and forest attack. First is forest attack. ● Move quietly and communicate with signals. Cracking twigs, startled birds, and rustling bracken will tell the enemy exactly where you are. ● Keep downwind of the trespassers so that your scent doesn't give you away. ● Look for freshly broken twigs, overturned leaves on the forest floor, remains of prey, or a clump of fur caught on a bramble. Any animal that moves through the forest leaves behind signs that its passed by-and signs like this could lead you straight to the invaders. ● Keep your mouth open to search for unfamiliar scents. Be careful: if there is scent when there is no breeze to carry it through the forest, it could mean that your enemy is very close by. ● Light-colored pelts are easily seen against brown and green foliage, so stay in the thickest cover. Keep low- the enemy will be looking for movement at normal head height, not close to the ground. ● Never miss an opportunity to perfect your tracking ability. In the nursery, kits sneak up on their mothers and pounce with their moss-soft paws. Apprentices leap out on one another from behind bushes and tree stumps. These are more than just games. One day, these skills could save your life and defend your Clan. This is the lightning strike. ● Crouch behind the enemy with your patrol unseen. ● Wait for the leader of the patrol to give the signal to attack. ● Spring squarely on top of the enemy, aiming for the ears, as they will bleed easily; caught by surprise, they should be easy targets. ● As fast as you attack, retreat back into the undergrowth. ● As the enemy lets its guard down, attack from an opposite angle; do this over and over until the enemy, thinking they are outnumbered, retreats. [ WindClan ] ● Approach from Above Your Enemy - Gain high-ground. Wait for the leader of the patrol to give the to attack. Charge down your high ground; your enemy will be weakened by having to fight uphill. ● Use the Light from the Sun - Attack your enemy with the sun behind you, which should dazzle the enemy and block their view. ● Know Where the Wind is Coming From - If there is a strong wind, it should blow from behind you; that should hold them back and blur their vision with dust. However, if stalking, make sure the wind is blowing toward you, as it could give away your scent if blowing toward your enemy. ● Conceal the Size of Your Force - Have your attackers in sight from a distance. There are two options: either you can group your warriors together tightly, making you seem like a small attacking force. Your enemy may become overconfident, which is likely to lead to them making poor strategic decisions. Or, if your warriors spread out single-file, it will seem impossible to pass to advancing enemy warriors and may intimidate them. Attack the enemy. ● Attack Both Ends of the Enemy Line First - Attack both ends of your enemy's line, leaving the middle cats to fend on two fronts; this will leave them outflanked, vulnerable, and in disarray. Attack the rest of the enemies until they run. ● Keep Fresh Warriors in Reserve - Always keep strong, fit warriors to replace injured ones. ● Feigned Retreat and Ambush - A group of strong cats screech and attack the enemy line. The group of fit cats retreat; repeat this until the enemy line breaks. Other warriors, usually tunnelers, jump out of rabbit holes and dips in the ground on the other side of the attackers. Attack from both fronts until the enemy surrenders.

I would do dogs, but we'd have to really overkill it. ;-;
I kinda want to start in late leafbare, that way we can go into new leaf easily and it make sense to have some kind of illness. If we do an epidemic, I would prefer it be greencough or fowlcough, and on the end of it to kinda ease in. That way we can also have the Clans interact, but not be forced to band together to face something. I see that a lot as a first plot and I was guilty of that for a while. I want everyone to be able to develop their cats without facing some kind of immediate crisis, too. We can also do a natural disaster, like a flood you mentioned, I think. But that also means we may have to have the Clans help each other overall instead of relying on good ol' alliances and rivalries.

I may put a deadline for a WindClan leader. I don't want that to hold up opening/planning. Then if we can't find one, perhaps I could lead it if need be.

I forgot to mention, but the ideal alliances and rivalries are: RiverClan are allied with WindClan. RiverClan are rivals with ThunderClan and ShadowClan. ShadowClan is just kinda rivalries with everyone. ThunderClan and WindClan are enemies.

I know the one thing I do not want to do is timeskips early in the role-play. I want to wait until late greenleaf/early leaffall to do those. That way things are established well. I'm wondering how the flood will impact each Clan. I think I made Crooked Brook an extension of the river, so that can flood ShadowClan. RiverClan and ThunderClan will be facing an overflowing river and streams. RiverClan may even need to move camp. WindClan is a bit tricky because they look higher up than everyone on the map.

ShadowClan would probably have half the territory wiped out by the brook. Same could go for ThunderClan..

heyo! sorry to pop in like this, I just wanted to say I'm sorry if our pages are similar?? i noticed it a few minutes ago while browsing, I had no idea you were going to do a project like this! I came up with my idea (the original four clans in a different setting) last night on the WFF discord along with Shadowface and we posted our planning page today, like yours. We didn't mean anything by it, and we were not aware that you were doing a similar project as well. I hope this wasn't concerning or anything! I just wanted to let you guys know that it was a mere coincidence and its not our intention to copy you by any means. Anyway, I hope this project goes well! It looks great, good luck, guys! :]

➤ [@starlingflight ] | Flight, Starling, Star, I’m not especially fussy ● NovaClan [current with intent to remake due to computer issues] WaterfallClan and QuarryClan [deleted due to hacker] ● Usually every day, however, I have been a little poofy due to being on holiday. I’ll be back by Wednesday and this will improve immensely. ● GMT, I’m English ● Role-play Sample: [ Hawthornstar shifted from one paw to the other, her breath caught in her chest as she waited with impatience. Excitement burning through her veins as she waited for her opportunity, nostrils flared and tail twitching as the adrenaline coursed through her. She held the hunters crouton with the precision and care of a veteran hunter, and the world around her seemed to fade into nothingness as she waited. And she lunged. It was over before the mouse really knew it had begun, it soon hung limp between her jaws and she sat up. Promptly burying the mouse and looking back, wondering as to where her patrol had gotten to. The sun was just beginning to reach its peak in the sky overhead, basking the territory in a golden light. It was beautiful, but on the inside the young leader was too busy hurting to really notice the world around her. As best as she tried to come across like everything was normal, she was struggling to cope with her recent losses and the difficulties in her clan of recent. She still struggled to understand how cruel StarClan could be to take an entire litter of kits from her. Bowing her head, she twitched her ears at the sound of one of her patrol members calling her name, and she quickly straightened and attempted to regain her composure. Before rejoining her patrol like nothing had happened. ] ● Not especially, but what you have so far looks really cool, I’d love to help if I’m allowed to.

Hey Starling! Let me see what Cro and Dou think of your form as well. While I'm the admin, I want to consult my head mods on decisions like this. Nothing against you! <3

I know I didn't have it specifically in the form, but are you wanting to be a head moderator or help with the plot and small things?
