As the 'body' hit the ground, its eyes snapped open. With a shriek, it grabbed for Phoenix's gun. Instantly, the soldier whipped out a grenade, kicked the alien into the water, threw the grenade after it, and turned around with a shout of "Run!" Jacob and Edward grabbed Phoenix and half-carried, half-dragged her away. Behind them, the river erupted in a cloud of smoke, water and rubble.

Far behind them, a mangled body washed up on the river bank. Four alien scouts, just out of the stormwater drain on the trail of some humans, gathered around it, watching as its bones slowly mended themselves. One alien turned its gaze on the smoke-filled sky, spying a Black Hawk helicopter circling towards them. It grunted at its companions, and they vanished into the forest.

The battle was increasing. Aliens were everywhere.

Jacob paced back and forth next to the river mumbling something under his breath. "Jacob!" Edward cried walking up to him, he was sick of this nonsense he'd been pacing for over an hour! Of course there was no reply just more mumbling. "JACOB!" Edward yelled. "WHAT!?!?!" Jacob roared at him looking up. Edward caught a glimpse of red in his eye, like when you looked into a fire but when he blinked he didn't see a thing. "You need to calm down!" Edward growled at him. "Calm down? Me, clam down? Have you ever thought about closing your mouth before?" there it was again. The faint but very clearly visible flicker of red, this time it was more orange though. "Just calm down!" Edward began walking away from Jacob. I gotta tell Ivory...She has to know maybe she can figure it out?
"Eugh what a suck-up" Jacob muttered in the background. Edward clench his fist and turned back around "WHAT DID YOU SAY!" he shouted at him. Jacob scoffed "I'm guessing your gonna go and suck-up to your little girlfriend"
"She's not my girlfriend!" Edward stated to feel power running through his veins. "Oh yeah really?"
"YEAH! Now shut it or I'm gonna..."
"What ARE you gonna do Edward?"
That was it. Edward walked forward with his clenched fist and threw it at Jacob. He ducked. It missed. And then Jacob threw himself at Edward, wrestling him to the ground. This caught the girls attention. "BOYS!" Ivory shrieked. Willow's eyes widened in amusement and she smirked but it was suddenly replaced with a frown. "What's that?" Jacob asked suddenly stopping from beating up Edward. "What?" Ivory and Edward tilted there heads. Nothing. Not a sound. Edward and Jacob immediately began wrestling again. Willow's face was pale. SWOOSH! SWOOSH! Jacob stopped wrestling again and scanned the stream looking for anything that may of made the noise. Edward took this moment to give Jacob a solid punch, and then smirked as he got ready to give Jacob a critical blow in the face. "HEY!" Ivory suddenly screamed pointing at the stream. Jacob looked. Willow looked. Edward finished getting ready for his attack, nothing would stop him from beating Jacob. That was when, as he threw his arm down a hand made entirely out of water erupted out of the stream and plucked Jacob from Edward. He was dragged into the hand with a final scream. Edward fell onto the ground with a large THUMP! He unclenched his fists breathing heavily. Ivory let out a deafening scream while Willow pulled out her but to their surprised the hand suddenly disappeared returning the stream to it's original clam shape. Ivory and Willow ran down to where Edward was "WHAT DID YOU DO!" Ivory screamed at him. "Nothing..."
"Damn yeah you did something and it was AWESOME!" Willow smiled. Ivory scoffed. Suddenly she noticed a shape washed up on the bank. "JACOB!" she yelled running over to him. Willow helped up Edward. They stood there in silence for a minute. "Well are you gonna go help your half-dead plucked from underneath you by awesome water spirit friend or what?" she started running towards Jacob and Edward ran after her. When they got to Jacob
Ivory was shaking him wildly "Come on get up! Get up! JACOB I COMMAND YOU TO GET UP THIS INSTANT!" Willow scoffed. "WHAT!!!" Ivory frowned. "Move over please!" Willow got down on her knees and put her crossed her hands over his chest. She started doing chest compressions. Ivory held on tightly to Edward. Finally a spout of water erupted from Jacob's mouth and he coughed. Willow tipped him on his side so he rest of the water would come out. "Jacob!" Ivory cried kneeling down and awkwardly embracing him. Edward breathed a sigh of relief. "What happened?" he managed to ask. "Nothing to bad man" Edward smiled at Jacob. A groaning sound made them all turn their heads. "What just happened?" Phoenix asked sitting up. "Well Phoenix...if you insist on knowing..." Ivory and Edward looked at each other beaming. "Oh lord" Phoenix gulped running her hand through her hair. "Well it all started when we heard a sudden news report on TV..."

Willow sat back and stared as Jacob, Edward and Ivory filled Phoenix in on the entire story.

"-and then I stabbed you in the leg." He looked up to see Phoenix's face, which was red with fury. "Sorry." He added sheepishly.

Ivory scratched the nape of her neck, which was itching like crazy. Jacob filled Willow's flask with water from the stream.

Willow looked up and stared at the sky, which was turning gray. "There's a storm coming." She realised that this would be the best time to run, since the helicopters wouldn't be able to operate.

Jacob watched the explosions in the distance and cringed. So many lives taken...

Willow raced towards the hill. We need to help! She thought as the burning wreckage became closer and closer.

Jacob poked his head out of the cave. "Willow, come back!" he bellowed. A shadow flew over his head and he looked up to see a drone pass above. "Oh, no."

Edward streaked out of the cave after her. "WILLOW, LOOK OUT!" He yelled as the drone seemingly caught sight of her and circled lower. Willow still didn't notice.

Leaving Phoenix in the cave, Ivory sprinted after them. Willow finally reached the ship and crawled inside- at that moment the aliens decided to turn around and come for Edward instead. One disarmed him, and another forced him onto his knees, raising their glowing sword.

With a yell, Jacob dived for the alien's chest, knocking the sword out of it's hand. It fell the wrong way, and sliced a deep cut down his arm- the smell of burning flesh filled the air, and he screamed. What happened next would forever be remembered.

With a gasp of rage, he flung his hands at the alien, grabbing where the windpipe would've been, and they burst into flames.

The alien screeched wildly, trying to escape from his clutches- but slowly began to melt into slag.

It was dark and cold. Edward shivered at the small draught he felt. "This way." Willow whispered in front of him. It was so cramped that he had to crawn on his hands and knees, and he was beginning to wish that he hadn't gone after her.

Willow led the way to the ship's main compartment. It was exactly as she'd left it- she flickering light, the dashboard bleeping frantically, the mangled body in the driver's seat.

Edward gagged as soon as he was it. "You're right- I can't take it back." He winced slightly.

She glared at him, and showed him where the dashboard had crumpled around the second soldier. She turned to stare at Edward helplessly. "I don't know how to get him out." The soldier groaned and his hand twitched. She stared at it.

Edward looked around and spotted a canteen filled with water that had been knocked over. With a deep breath, he poured it out on the floor and concentrated on what he wanted it to do...

The water slowly shaped itself into a paper-thin blade, the end razor-sharp. He tested his finger on the edge and flinched as it drew blood. "Maybe this'll work?"

He set it against the crumpled dashboard and it cut through it like it was butter. Willow's face glowed in the dim light. "Quick, let's get him out of here!"

Just as they managed to get the soldier out of the ship, a new swarm of drones appeared. Together, with the unconscious man between them, they tried to run, but as soon as they started, Edward tripped and cried out- his ankle had bent the wrong way.

Willow gritted her teeth. Surely I can get out of here? But no matter how much she looked, she couldn't see anything that could help. Her hand curled into a fist as the drones swooped lower.

And suddenly, she knew what to do.

Her mind was racing, but she felt like she was filed with fire. She only saw what she needed to do, and how she could do it... only she didn't know if she could do it.

"Edward, grab my hand." Her voice was cool, calm, not even hinting to the panic and fear swirling inside. Edward reached out and grasped it with his. Willow drew in a long breath, through her nose, and jumped forward.

And then they were racing across the open field, she was somehow pulling them both along, but how was that possible? She didn't even blink, but she could feel Edward's heartbeat pulsing next to her- she didn't know how that was possible. She was pure speed, she was energy, she was thunder and lighting-

She was electricity.

With a gasp they landed in the cave. Only three seconds ago they had been standing on the hill.

Phoenix, who had been drowsing up against the wall, screamed.

"Where the hell did you guys come from?!"

The aliens launched themselves at Phoenix and Edward the two closest to them. "I got this" Jacob smiled throwing himself at one of the aliens. It charged at him and he held out his hand. A few seconds later the alien was no more. The other alien took a few steps back and aimed his gun at Jacob. He's the bigger threat... Willow realised. Suddenly a large rumbling filled the area, a lone bird squawked and flew out of it's hiding spot in one of the trees. The alien, edged closer to Jacob, who took a step back. "Oh no..." Ivory whispered looking up. A large wave of water, like a tsunami was speeding towards them. The alien edged closer oblivious to the water. A few seconds before it hit the alien shot a bullet at Jacob. He dodged and it soared straight over Phoenix's head. The alien then pointed it's gun at Willow. "Oh no you don't!" he yelled at the alien "EVERYONE HOLD YOU BREATH!"
"EDWARD!" Phoenix screamed...and then they were swallowed up by water. It pushed them forward, and forward and forward. Jacob thought he spotted Ivory whizz past but she was to fast. The group were flipped upside down and there lungs were ready to burst. Jacob caught a glimpse of red and gasped. Phoenix, holding her breath or at least trying while clutching her leg. There was also a big fat tree shooting straight towards her. "NO!" Edward tied to yell but got a mouthful of water instead.

Edward flicked his hand in a panic and a current formed in the water, shoving the tree to one side and missing Phoenix by a few inches, who screamed in fear, letting go of her last breath of air. Water filled her lungs and her eyes began to softly close.

Jacob tried to shoot a fireball at the alien but the water was stopping it. Theb the wave started to go down. This was when Jacob realised how much his chest hurt, like in year 7 when they ran 15km to raise money for cancer reader he but worse. As he emerged from the wave he gasped for air. The last little bit of water carried him further forward. Shivering, he forced himself to stand up. Edward was lying close to him but the girls weren’t visible. “IVORY!” He yelled. When no one replied he began shaking Edward. “COME ON!” He shouted “We have to find the girls!”
“Phoenix-“
“Bro we’ll find her” Jacob turned around and gasped. His heart stopped beating for a minute. “ Edward...” he whispered. “What?” Edaward moaned sitting up. “ Oh my...that’s a lot of trees”
“ I don’t know how you missed knocking down a city”
“I think-
“Damn right yeah you need to learn to control yours powers better!”

a single alien crept across the shadows, His hand clasped over a human who out like a light. It slunk all the way back to a large clearing filled with tree stumps that was deserted. The alien layed the human down and held up its head "alalih! khudh hdha al'iinsan kadhabihat , wanahn nuelamuk 'anana nusaytir ealaa alealam tusamaa al'ard bisare!" he called. He stepped away from the human with firey gold hair and waited for her to be absorbd by the gods...but nothing happened. It waited. And waited. And waited. "hal hdha ghyr jayid bma fyh alkafaya?"
The alien stared blankly at the alien before turning away and running.

I just got the alien to speak in Arabic here's what it said-
"alaliha! khudh hdha al'iinsan kadhabihat , waqad nuealimuk 'anana nusaytir ealaa alealam yusamaa al'ard bisarea!"
Gods! Take this human as a sacrifice, and ma we let you know that we are taking over the world called earth quickly!

Aliens crowed around looking at the small needle contain Phoenix' blood. "Human's blood has been obtained" the alien who had taken the blood said. Cheers arose from the watching aliens. The alien motioned to a small creature on a table next to him. It was the size of a cockroach but jet black and it made small chirping noises. "Human's blood precious" the alien said. "Here's what it can do..." he dug the needle into the animal who let out a surprised confused squeak. The aliens were astonished as the small alien animal...
