Jacob heard something smash behind him. Glancing over his shoulder, he saw looters leaping out of a window with a television between them. The aliens cut them down, continuing on their deadly rampage.

Jacobs Point of Veiw-
The group dove behind a large black and green trashcan. " I can't believe this who do these people think they are!!!!" Ivory held her hand to her head. At first Jacob thought it was just a headache but then he noticed her wincing. " Your hurt!" Jacob lifted his hand up to her head and slowly grabbed her hand in his dragging it away from her head. He was sure he saw Phoenix bite her lip and Edward look away but he didn't care. Ivory had a large cut above her eyebrow that had now leaked blood all over her face in straight lines. " Here" Jacob took of his jacket and started slipping off his shirt. " NO!" Edward cried. Jacob stopped and Edward slipped off his shirt instead. " Here" he put it in Ivorys hands. " Idiot" Jacob murmured taking it from Ivory and using the shirt to wipe the blood of her face. After the blood was gone he told her to hold it on her head a slipped his jacket back on.

Edwards point of Veiw-
Edward jumped over a trashcan followed by the rest of he group he kept his pain to himself as he cut his leg after as he slid over it. Once the were all saftely over he noticed Violet put her hand ove there head. He knew she wa sin pain straight away and tried to say so thing " V-"
" Your hurt" Jacob cut in and Edward cursed. He watched his hand grab hers and looked away hurt. He wished that was him. Suddenly he noticed Jacob taking off his shirt " NO!" He yellled slipping off his own shirt. He handed it to Ivory clumsily only to see Jacob take it instead and begin helping her. " Idiot" he mumbled under his breath.

Ivory's Point of View-
Ivory hoped the boys wouldn't notice. Of course they did. A few minutes before they jumped behind the trashcan an alien had picked up a knife and thrown it at her. It just scratched her like how Four had only just cut Tris in her favourite movie Divergent. She knew Edward had known it had happened but he didn't have time to talk to her. They slid behind the trashcan and Ivory had only just put her hand to her head when Jacob noticed.
" Your hurt!"
" It's nothing" Ivory actually felt like she wanted dot cry though. She could feel the cut stinging and the blood dripping down her face. Jacob was about to take off his top for her when Edward yelled to stop. She didn't know why. Maybe he just cared about her like the others. Ivory saw them all as brothers and sisters instead of friends.

Phoenix's Point of View-
Shoot! These Aliens are fast!
She dodged a bullet that was shot at her and then dodged a chair that was thrown. Ivory is so annoying saying I have a crush on Edward! Why are you thinking about that now Phoenix? I'm sorry It's just annoying! You need to focus!
Phoenix had had a voice in her head as long as she could remember. The voice would talk to her and give her information. She didn't know why she had it but at least it was sometimes useful.
Duck! the voice yelled out to her as a television soared over her head.
A knife flew past her before they dove over a trashcan and landed on the other side, that was littered with soda cans and plastic bags. It was after Jacob said it that she realised Ivory was hurt. Her heart stopped as she watched him about to take his shirt off. Not that she hadn't seen him shirtless before. Just because it was uhh...
" NO!" Edward cried. Edward threw off his shirt and handed it to Ivory.
"Idiot" she bit her lip as Jacob took Ivory's hand. So much for that

The aliens paused at an intersection strewn with crashed cars. Wounded and dead humans lay everywhere, with more running everywhere. Smoke rose into the sky, and sirens shrieked all around. Black Hawk helicopters circled slowly, heat-seeking missiles trained on the aliens. Snipers hid in the upper rooms of buildings and on roofs, waiting for a signal to shoot.

People were making life or death choices. The aliens had already seemed to wipe out thousands and thousands and thousand of people and they didn't plan to stop. Even children were lying on the ground, lifeless. Some people were playing dead, as aliens ran past them they closed their eyes and began saying prayers. Seconds later they would be dead. Life had just taken a dramatic turn for everyone.

Ivory quickly noticed a little girl waving a toy about and shouting at them. " Guys!" she yelled and pointed at the kid. " Over there!" Jacob, Edward and Ivory jumped out of their hiding spots and rushed over to the kids. " Quickly!" Jacob and Edward both picked up one while Ivory held the toy. They rushed back and were surprised to see Phoenix still hiding. " What the hell!" Jacob yelled. " What" she looked up at him. " Why didn't you come?" Edward cut in. Ivory stayed silent. " Well you guys didn't need my help-"
" YES WE DID!" Jacob yelled at her fiercely.
" NO YOU DID NOT!" Phoenix shot back. She glared at the kid nestled in Jacobs arms. " There kids Phoenix!" Edward half yelled half screamed at her. " I don't care!" Phoenix stood up. " I knew I'd get no where with you losers!" she shouted. Turning around she began to run off. " WAIT!" Ivory grabbed her arm and forced her to turn around. " We are a team we need to stick together!" Ivory said to her. Phoenix cast a glance at where Jacob and Edward had kneeled down and were inspecting the kids.
" No you don't" Phoenix glared at her. " And never touch me again" she wrestled free and began to ran.
" PHOENIX!" Ivory yelled.
" DON'T DO-" her words faded as gun shots filled the area.

The teens looked at the kids. " What do they think there doing?" Edward whispered to Jacob. " I don't know, lets just follow them!" Jacob whispered back and motioned for Ivory to follow them. " STOP!" Ivory yelled out. " Kids get out of there!" she could sense something was wrong. She hoped the kids would listen to her.

The storm drain was dark. Nobody knew where they were going, but they hoped that it was away from the aliens.

The drain shook from an explosion above. Dust fell from the roof. "Was that a bomb?" Jacob asked. "It sounded like it." The roar of plane engines answered his question; the battle above was ramping up.

Ivory got her friends to stop. " they think we're superheroes!" She muttered trying it push away the feeling that something was wrong. " It's fine we will deal with it later" Edward sighed. Suddenly a large rumbling filled the pipe. " I KNEW IT!" Ivor you yelled. Everyone looked at her surprised. " The tectonic plates I've been looking at them for weeks! Investigators have seen small move,net between them so I went to look further and there moving faster now!"
" What does that mean?" Edward cried. " Shoot Ivory why didn't you tell us sooner! " Jacob shouted at her. " We need to move now the ground will break any second" she looked over at the kids who's looked VERY confused. " Euhg I'm sorry let me put it in a simpler way" Ivory took a deep breath. " EARTHQUAKE EVERYBODY MOVE!!!!" Sure enough the ground below them started shaking violently.

The earthquake didn't affect the aliens, except making them mad. They began killing more people than ever, even attacking dead bodies. It was brutal.

Jacob looked at the pistol in his hand and nodded his head. Quickly the kids were gone. " Were listening to a bunch of kids wow!" Edward sighed. " Lets just do this!" Jacob growled at him. They all managed to wriggle out of the pipe back onto the ground. They started trying to walk forward but the earthquake was pushing them back. " I cannot believe this!" Ivory whispered. " LOOK OUT!" Edward yelled. They all looked up. A large building shook for the final time and began falling towards them. " Jacob grabbed Ivory and Edward pushed her. The building fell faster. Jacob and Ivory were safely over the other side but Edward was still running. Seconds before the building collapsed he ran backwards as the building smashed down. " EDWARD!" Ivory screamed at the top of her lungs. Silence.
Ivory collapsed and began crying loudly. " I"M FINE!" Edwards voice shouted. Ivory looked up shocked. " It's ok he's alive" Jacob reassured her. " You guys find a way to the river I'll get there somehow myself!" Edward shouted out to them. So Ivory and Jacob ran.

Edward was stuck in the collapsed building, and he could hear something moving in the rubble near him. "Who's there?" he called out, then immediately fell silent as a young alien, a child by the looks of things, crawled out and stared at him.

Ivory and Jacob pushed forward " FASTER!" Jacob screamed at her. Jacob felt sick. He's ribs felt like they were cracked and his head was spinning. Suddenly a yell filled his head. He heard a large thumps and couldn't hear footsteps behind him anymore. Turning around his heart stopped. Ivory was laying on the ground a few meters away. A bullet was poking out of her leg. " IVORY!" He shouted at he top of his lungs catching an aliens attention. The alien ran towards Ivory it's gun pointed at her heart. Jacob ran toward Ivory and grabbed her in his arms just as the alien got there. It shot at him and Ivory but Jacob dodged. " Jac-" Ivory whispered weakly. " It's okay hang in there" Jacob told her. They were close to the river and finally they reached it. Jacob ran forward and hid behind some tall thick brambles. He lowered Ivory to the ground. " Ur okay your okay" he reassured her " but This is gonna hurt" he clutched the bullet and pulled it. " AHHHH" Ivory screamed in pain. Jacob threw the bullet behind him and used a leaf to stop the bleeding. " Your fine" he whispered to her.
A little while later Jacob and Ivory were lying on the ground next to each other. Jacob thought Ivory was asleep until he heard her voice " Thank you" she said quietly to him. Jacob turned over so that they were facing each other. " It's fine" he told her " I would take a bullet for you." " Really?" Ivory shuffled closer to him. " I would do anything for you" he whispered. He shuffled closer to her to try and comfort her. The just stared into each other eyes. Suddenly Jacob leaned in a little closer and so didn't Ivory. There lips collided and they both closed there eyes. Jacob wrapped his arms around Ivorys waist and she wrapped hers around his neck. They continued kissing but Ivory and Jacob knew there were some other people they would rather be kissing. One was stuck in a collapsed building and the other had ditched them.

Jacob pulled away and stared over ta the kids. " One of them ditched us and the other is trapped inside a collapsed building!" He half yelled at them. He wasn't mad at them. He was mad at himself for making Phoenix run away and for kissing Ivory. She needed to know it didn't mean anything but he needed to talk to these kids. " so..." he said walking up to them " Wha are your names?"

Edward stared at the alien as it crawled up to him. It let out a squawking sound, then abruptly collapsed, limp. Its eyes became dull. It was dead.

Ivory walked up to the girl away from Jacob and Jimmy. " Look Kayla whatever your name is don't you dar ever talk to one of my friends again like that. FWI our friend in the building told us to run because he is a great person and you need to stop sticking your nose into everyone's business you got it? Because I swear if you say anything again You'll know about it." Ivory hissed at her. She was so sick of this little girl thinking she knew everything.

Edward watched the alien collapsed in front of him. He reached down to touch it and then decided better. Instead he saw some material not to far away from him. He ripped it so that it made a bag and then used his foot to push it in before tying up the sack. Then he noticed a shattered price of glass not to far away from him. He picked iit up and shoved it in his pocket before seeing a small gap in the wall. He shoved the sack through it and then managed to squeeze through it himself. He began making his way to the river creeping along a wall of the outside of the collapsed There were no aliens in sight but he could still hear screaming. After a while he heard a water splash and looked at the trees to his left. He could see a river through them and decided it wouldn't be safer to take that path. He crept through the trees being hit in the face a few time before he heard a loud CRACK!
Edward turned around and ouddenly was hit to the ground. " please don't kill me please don't kill me" he whispered to himself. Instead he felt smithing slap his shoulder. " Get up you idiot I thought you were an alien!" Phoenix growled ta him. " oh I'm sorry" he said standing up "So..."
" Where are the others?" She asked him, it was only then Edward realised that her eyes were a strange colour. They were red and orange and yellow the colours of the sun and they looked like she was staring at a fire. " down at the river" Edward informed her. " Shh I hear something" she whispers. She motioned for him to follow and they went closer to the river. That was then Edward realised she had a gun. One like he aliens had. She stole it she stole it he tol himself. Phoenix then motioned for him to stop. They were at the edge of the trees a few meters away from the river. " HANDS UP!" She yelled jumping out of the trees. Edward saw Jacob and the other kid turn around through the trees as well as Ivory and the small girl. " Phoenix?" Ivorys voice sounded surprised. " Oh thank god we were terrified" Edward heard the crunching of leaves as Jacob went to walk up to Phoenix. " I SAID HANDS UP!" She yelled again. " What's wrong?" Jacob asked her. Edward knew something wasn't right so he...

Edward stared at Phoenix- this wasn't the girl that he had known and grown up with. "Phe? Is something wrong?" He asked cautiously.
"There's obviously something wrong, idiot." Jacob's voice rang out. "She's pointing a bloody pistol at me."
Edward ignored him. "Phe, can you put down the gun, please?" He tried gently in a soothing voice.

" God dammit Edward your always so nice tooo nice!" Phoenix yelled at him. " You all have made my life miserable and now you have to pay" Phoenix pointed the pistol at Ivory " Starting wiht you" she put her finger on the trigger. " NO PHE!" Edward and Jacob cried together. they both ran towards Ivory but they heard a gunshot and stopped. Phe lowers her gun and snicker. Ivory was lying on the ground. " No." Edward ran over to her and crouched at her side. Ivory was in her side so no body else could see her except him.The younger kids were frozen. " Please wake up please" He cried. Suddenly one of her eyes opended and she winked at him. Ed understood right away. He snuck a quick wink at Jacob and then continued pleading. " You next" Phoenix hissed at Jacob. Jacob plays dhis part well. He cramped up and then fell to the ground giving Edward a wink. " Finally Edward" Phoenix smiled evilly. " You can't kill me" Edward told her. " Why not?" Phoenix pointed the gun at him. Edward winked at the younger niece girl he didn't know and she winked ta the younger boy. " You would be loosing to much" Edward walked closer to her. " W-What do you mean" she half trembled. " Oh Phe" Edward sighed. They were now face to face. " Put that gun down"
Phoenix obeyed and Edward ran his hand down her face. " Edward..." Phoenix wisperd. Edward leant in and began kissing her pulling the piece of glass out of his pocket. He quickly stabbed her in the leg and she reeled backwards screaming in pain. " HOW COULD YOU!" She screamed and then collapsed on the floor. " Smart" the young female kid said. " What was wrong with her?" Jacob asked. " The aliens" Edward replyed " They've done something to her I think."

We need a new character))
At the edge of the clearing, a girl not much older than Edward or Jacob crouched, terrified. She fingered the safety switch on her own pistol- the dark blue pools that she had for eyes widened in fear as she watched the other girl get stabbed in the leg. She gently pushed the pistol into her pocket, safety lock on, and pulled over her head the AR15 rifle slung over her back.
She gently began to move out of a bush- crack.
She stepped on a twig.
"Oh, crap."

" Wait what did you do to her?" Ivory questioned him. " It's fine" Edward reasurred her " She'll just be out for a fe shouts a day at most" he stopped and turned around as a noise filled his ears. Jacob, Ivory and the kids heard as well. No one could see who it was at least everyone didn't think anyone else knew who it was.

Jacobs point of Veiw-
Jacob knew that Phoenix was okay. He could see her breathing just after she collapsed but something had been wrong. She would never of short one of them ever. He knew he heard the crack before anyone else. Jacob had amazing hearing and flicked his eyes over to where the noise had come from. He saw a girl, defiantly younger then him its large blue eyes and a frightened face. When everyone else turned there heads she was gone. When he saw her Jacob felt weird like he had seen her befor but he pushed the feeling away.
(She should be Jacobs long lost sister that he never knew about)

"Guys," said Edward. "I have something to show you." He opened the bag, and revealed the dead alien. Jacob leaped back in alarm, while the others gasped. "It was caught in the collapsing building as well," Edward said. "What should we do with it." "I know what to do," said a voice, and they all turned around to see someone striding towards them, dressed in tattered army gear.
