it's freezing here too
i make $4 above minimum wage at the moment (well, currently I'm not making anything) but you couldn't survive off that here. you are lucky if you can even pay rent on a 1 room apartment with that. cost of living is not cheap here at all

I think my house is like...750 a month?
We are doing a rent to own situation. It's typical for places to cost 750 a month around here too

My 3 bedroom house is $978 a month. It was $100 a month less, but we refinanced back in December to pay off just under I think $20k in debt, so while our mortgage went up, we're saving about $600 a month in other bills we were paying. If something were to happen to my husband, there is no way I could afford to stay here on my own despite making at least $4 an hour over minimum wage. I couldn't even afford a 1 bedroom apartment on my own, and KY doesn't exactly have the highest cost of living (though living in a major city does drive that cost up a bit).

Thank you! I've gotten a lot done so far! It's just a little more difficult bc i'm using a new Engine i've never touched before but its going a lot smoother than I expected!

I am currently going through all the photos that I dumped from mine and my husband's phones and labeling them then sorting them into folders on flash drives (the folders and flash drives already existed, I'm just putting what I haven't sorted in the past in there). This way I'm giving my body a break but still being productive. Gotta say though, seeing Midnite's last photos (including some taken her last day) hurts a little bit, but better to get these emotions out while home alone then having them hit some random day at work or something.

i did that not long ago and it took absolutely forever to do. still didn't finish even but i couldn't do it anymore
was over 8000 pics.
seeing pics of old pets is never easy esp when its so fresh

I try to keep up with the ones on my phone, especially if there's an important pic like when Booger died, I wanted to get his last pics saved in case something were to happen to my phone so I don't lose them.
My husband hadn't dumped his pics in 2 years, but there were only 112 pics, so it wasn't too bad.
The next thing I need to do is put all my music from my mp3 player on a flash drive, because the mp3 player is somewhere between 10-15 years old and it's not going to hold up forever, and that's something like 325 songs that I really don't want to lose.

Mine's 2GB and has 335 songs. I have a list of songs I want to add to it, maybe I'll get around to that this week as well. It's one of those little sansa clip things by SanDisk.

Yeah, but your phone has a ton of other functions. This thing only plays music (or in the case of my husband's, podcasts) or FM radio stations.

It's great for when I go visit my mom, because that drive through the West Virginia mountains gets NO radio stations, so I plug it into my car and it's like having a radio station the whole drive that plays all my favorite songs

And I feel ya bout the pics...I try to keep up with it and don’t keep more than 100 at a time bc I lost all the pics, messages, notes etc on my phone that I’ll never get back o:

I can't even remember how many pictures I've lost over the years  I switched phones a lot because my dad was always out to find the cheapest deals and when i switched phones the other ones would be traded in.
that's a lot of music is your ipod strictly for music? my phone has a lot of music but the space is running thin now lol

I have a blank flash drive that's strictly for when we go to change phones - that way we can dump them onto the drive in a hurry, then I can go back when I have the time and sort them.
