16 more days until my vacation. I can't wait. The levels of stress I'm under are really taking their toll on me. The stress of Midnite's failing health is over, and I think the stress of work should come to a head this afternoon at the meeting (or before or after it, because I requested a private meeting with the general manager about some issues I don't feel should be brought up in front of everyone). The stress with my mother may also come to a head on Sunday when I call her. I already talked to my husband about his role in the stress, and I'll give him credit - some of what I said seems to have sunken in, and time should heal the rest. I just know that I can't keep going the way I have been for the last 2 weeks, I haven't experienced this level of depression/anxiety for this long of a stretch in years.

pumpkin pie I'm not going anywhere this time, just going to stay home and get stuff done around the house, mostly stuff for the yard since I'll be able to switch my sleep over to being awake during the day (biggest project being I plan to dig up all the old mulch from my flower beds, lay down some of those garden tarp things in them that prevent weeds, then put all new mulch in). Most important is I won't have to put up with the nonsense bs that has been going on at work lately, and I'll actually get a week of as much sleep as I need. I did have a pre-meeting with my manager before the meeting today (now yesterday) and addressed the 2 major issues I was having, we came to an agreement on some of it, but I don't know if they'll be able to do anything about the rest. That leaves one other major stressor in my life right now - my mother - and there's a chance that will play out Sunday when I call her.

I think my interview went okay. I’ll find out next week if I got into the program or not.

So,I think my cat has been messing with something that smells funny.He keeps coming in with a smell that smells like he pooped on himself.And there's this other black cat living behind my barn and let me tell you,it's not healthy for a cat not even one year old to fight with a 5 year old.
