Jack pushes as hard as he could against the beam. "Joanna!" He yelled hoping to wake her up. The others came and helped to move the beam. This wasn't easy considering how heavy the large beam was. Behind them. the battle still raged and neither side was giving up.
Halfhand wondered if they would have to retreat. He bites his cheek hating that idea. No! They would keep fighting and possibly call for reinforcements.

joanna laid limp. she would want jack to win the fight and serve. it was what he loved. she remained dreaming, now it was in a home with jack and kids running around. the noise was loud but heartwarming to her. her body was fighting but how long would it last

Jack picked up Joanna and raced to the medical building. As he did so, Jack was hit with some bullets.

"Joanna needs help!" Jack yelled as he comes bursting in. Luna looked up and motioned for Jack to set Joanna down on a near by table. She was busy trying to bandage a heavy looking wound.

Joanna was taken away quickly
Anlea looked at jack "we need to examine you, you've been shot" she looked at his wounds and laid him on a gurney

"I'm fine." Jack mumbled as he tried to stand up. He could feel the wolf ready to come up and jump back into the fray.

anlea looked at jack "they are in your back... weneed to lay you on your stomach" she said and then restrained him. it was in his charts about the wolf and she was taking precautions

Jack noticed the restraints and gave her a look. "Seems a bit bunch don't you think?" He asked his voice changing slightly.

"sir we know about the wolf, for the safety of our staff it is necessary" she said "that or a sedative which then you could not go back out to the fight" she told him sternly. "your previous nurse gave us notes on him in the file. she wants everyone safe and seems to know you" Anlea said as she dug a bullet out

Jack grits his teeth as Anlea started to dig for the bullets. He tugged at his restraints and lets out a low growl.

anlea finished and bandaged him up. his jacket mainly protected him but he still had 2 shots to him "i highly suggest you dont go back to the fight" she said

The wolf glared at Anlea and attempted to escape once more. However, he could tell this was useless and relaxes slightly. "Got me in tight." He remarked.

The battle raged for a little longer until the masked enemies suddenly retreated. General Halfhand called for a cease fire and watched them leave. He was glad they were retreating but he could tell something wasn't right. He heads to one of the watch towers to see where they were headed.

ALexander was standing down on the ground where he had been fighting. He climbed to a tower to watch them leave
Anlea rubbed his shoulder "Jack just keep faith" she said

Halfhand watched as the enemy seemed to retreat towards the woods in the distance. Later on, he would send a few soldiers out to scout where they have gone.

joanna was in surgery. it wasnt looking good. her insides looked like someone beat them with a meat tenderizer. She had crashed a few times and was very unstable at this point. her father was called in. When he came to base it was serious.
anlea looked to jack "i can find out for you since youre family"she said thinking they were married. she didnt know joanna too well
alexander was out scouting as halfhand ordered

Jack decided not to say anything. He wanted to know how Joanna was doing. He closed his eyes and attempts to relax. Jack could tell the battle was over due to the lack of gunfire.
Riza and Jason came along on the scouting mission. The tracks led deep into the forest and the trail starts to trail down towards a ravine. "We need to be careful." Riza said glancing over at the men.

After a few hours and no word from Anlea yet, a large burly man with a deep strong voice came in “I am here on behalf of Joanna. I was told I may want to see her” his voice said to the desk. He was led to a room where she would be soon.
Joanna was unconscious and hooked up to many machines. She had a breathing machine and tubes coming out of her arms and chest. She looked bruised all over and in rough shape. she barely looked like Joanna but her hair was still long and beautiful like always.
Alexander shot her a glance “no we are just going to prance in the forest shouting out we are looking for them” he said sarcastically. he walked down with them trying to stay hidden

Riza glared but said nothing else. She looked down at the ground to examine some footprints. She looks up ahead and searches for any signs of the enemy. Just how far away did they retreat?
Jack heard the voice and perked up. He wondered just who that could be.
The lady at the desk nodded her head and rises to her feet. "If you will follow me."
