Jack nodded and raced towards the base. Another explosion rocked the ground and sent parts of a helicopter flying.

"Burns and wounds." Luna said as she puts on her gloves. "I have a feeling it will only get worse." She quickly grabs the wall as yet another explosion goes off.

Joanna tabled herself and went to help in the burn unit. But was quickly called to go out in the field and help with soldiers. She had to slip on a jacket to stop debris from impairing her and grabbed her bag. She ran out to the field

Everywhere soldiers and masked men were running about firing their guns at each other. The masked invaders seemed to be great in number and doing everything they could to kill and destroy. General Halfhand was shouting out orders and shooting his Desert Eagle at the invaders. He had never seen anything like this before!

Joanna looked around but it was too hard to see. She snuck to her barracks, grabbed her sniper and headed to the roof. She could help this way and protect more. She set position and started slowly picking off masked men. She hated the killing but did it to the head or heart so it was quick. She shot and a bullet flew past halfhands head and got the masked man about to stab him from behind.

Halfhand turned around and gives her a thumbs up. He turns and rushed off towards the garage.
Jack was like a whirlwind. He punched, kicked and shot as many people as he could. Although, during the frey, one of the intruders stabs him in the side twice. Jack managed to use his elbow to hit the guy back and shoot him in the stomach,

joanna looked for jack and people around him. she picked off a few and then the one he shot, she shot again. she wished halfhand didnt look up to thumbs up her, now she was more likely to be targeted or noticed

Jack noticed some men aiming their guns at Joanna. He fires at their heads and throws a grenade for good measure.

Joanna ducked keeping low on the roof as she picked more people off. She was in danger but didn't care. She needed to help

Jack urges the continues to push foward. He kept firing until his gun ran out of bullets. He quickly reloads as bullets fly at him.
Jenny and Jason help out by shooting at their legs and chest.

Joanna fired off. She saw some of the enemy coming forward and she launched a gernade at them over the gate and then fired more at them

"Rockets"! A soldier cried out as two rockets go flying towards the base. The soldiers scattered though some weren't so lucky. General Halfhand makes a face when he noticed the remains of soldiers. He grits his teeth and races to the armory. His plan was to get the bigger gun in order to turn this battle around.
Jack picks up a near by assault rifle and mows down as many people as he could.

a rocket hit one of the buildings joanna was on and she flew down with it. at one second she saw a bright light then heard a yell. she felt the bang and everything went black. she was in a dream like state and there she was married to jack and they had kids and dogs. it seemed so perfect like she may never wake up because she didnt want to leave this perfect world hr mind made. she laid limp on top of the rubble

joanna was under some rubble. she was in her dream like state. she thought about jack and their life. to her this was a new reality

"Joanna!" Jack yelled as he pulled the rubble away. Julia noticed and got a few of her officers to come along and help Jack.

Joanna laid there limp. Her head had a gash, her leg trapped and stomach pinned under a beam. She looked roughed up but somehow had her gun still in her hand unconscious

Joanna dreamt:
The sky was a bright blue, softer than any day she could remember as she shifted her fingers in the grass. She was sitting leaning against jack while she sat between his legs and she had two babies smiling up at her as they were on her legs. So tiny and in little outfits. They had his eyes but her smile and nose. Perfect humans. Joanna had a radiant smile as she looked down at them. She had a ring on her finger but it wasn’t a wedding one. Just a diamond showing jacks love for her. She turned facing him “I don’t know if this moment could be anymore perfect” she said as she set the small babies on his chest. A strong rugged seal being so gentle and gingerly with these infants. She could savor this forever. And now she didn’t know if it was a dream or reality. But she chose to stay in it, for now.
